I would say this is one of the best biriyani in Coimbatore. I’ve ordered mutton biriyani, chicken Chinthamani, mutton brain fry. The best combo would biriyani + chicken Chinthamani. Chicken Chinthamani was made with red chilli and was the best of all the items I’ve ordered. Biriyani was also good. I would go and have biriyani any day, that good it’s taste is. Only thing is shop is small and can accommodate only 24-26 max people at once, if you are going on Sunday you need to wait for sometime to get place. There was also huge demand in parcel section. Highly recommended place for biriyani and food lovers 😋

One of the best Non Veg Hotel in Coimbatore. It’s located at Thadagam Road . You will have to give your name to the attender if you are going for dine in. They will call your name one after one. If you want to parcel the food you can get it without queues. All good we’re awesome. It’s not a place if are in a hurry Just go when you need to explore a good taste of food.

I had my friend suggested here and reached the shop with the help of gmap. Shop was too busy on a weekday too then I managed to take a take away it took lot of time buffer due to the orders pump in. I was too early but it took around 40 plus mins for me to have one pax of briyany out. It was too good when it comes to taste and quality. Quantity can be improved. All the varieties was so interesting on a menu board they had but max time I could be left out with few restricted menus. Worth trying it dine in or take away. Ordering is wise becuae it will save your time.

I have bought from this shop several times. The taste is good but the quantity is bad. I had ordered mutton kidney fry and the amount of kidney pieces is less and fat is more ( I have attached the pic also - left side is kidney pieces & right side is fat ). Not sure whether they follow this only got delivery order since if it was a dine in the customer would have immediately questioned them. I hope someone takes action on this.

Tried their Biryani for first time and it was amazing. Couldn't get a option to dine in as they have only limited space , but their take away service was super fast ( Tried on Saturday night around 8:30 PM and Sunday around 12:30 PM) . Saturday I could able to get only Chilly biryani ( other varieties were over by 8:30 PM) and it was just at right level and quantity. Rates were pretty cheap on comparative basis (please check the photo). They do have bucket biryani ( again few options are available only on Sunday), but didn't get chance to try that. You can call their phone numbers for orders.

I recently visited DR Biriyani - Sivaji Kadai and was excited to try their biriyani. While the biriyani taste was average, I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients used. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender and flavorful. However, the dish lacked the spices and depth of flavor that I was expecting. On the other hand, the side dishes served were top-notch. The raita was fresh and perfectly seasoned, the kuruma had that raw and thickness, which complemented the biriyani very well. I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety of side dishes offered. To finish off my meal, I ordered the payasam dessert, and it was extraordinary. The creamy texture and perfect sweetness made it the perfect end to my meal. Overall, I would recommend DR Biriyani for their quality ingredients and excellent side dishes. While the biriyani itself was not the best I have had, the payasam dessert and the side dishes more than made up for it.

Though the food that they offer is simply amazing, the restaurant has limited tables for dining and this place is always crowded with a minimum wait time of 20+ mins, so please be prepared for it incase if you are visiting. When we went yesterday the restaurant was jam packed and there was no AC as well, which made us slightly uncomfortable. However the food was superb as always and I highly recommend this place! Only street parking is available for two wheelers near the venue which is also difficult to get space sometimes. Must Try Place! 👌

Their USP is the Briyani and Nalli elumbu along with a variety of mutton options such as kothi Kari,blood poriyal, suvarotti and sukka. Chicken dishes are so so. Try their Kulambu kalakki... Prices are reasonable. There is no parking and you have to park on the streets on the main road. Family and kids would find it difficult because of constant crowd and limited space. Visit it atleast once if you are in Coimbatore and around that area you wouldn't be disappointed...

Amazing. Went to this place after rlseeing positive reviews from a food group. Had Mutton Biryani, Plain Biryani, Kudal Fry(goat intestine) and Mutton Kothu(kheema/minced meat). Everything was perfect in terms of quantity, quality and price. Coming to the price, all these cost me 375. If you're using card they charge 5% GST. They also accept PayTM. Would recommend this any time to anyone.
