One of the best biriyani experiences you can get in Coimbatore. Completely authentic and unique flavorful. Definitely will visit again.

Well it's one of the most famous restaurants in Coimbatore and completely deserves it. We had Mutton biryani, Kudal fry and Chicken wings fry. The biriyani tasted like an authentic Kongunadu blend and style, with more of a homely taste. The other items also tasted delicious and the quality was superb as well. Their service was top notch with not much delay. The atmosphere is pretty outdated but decent. The price of the dishes were also not costly like other restos. Two wheeler parking is good but for four wheelers it'll be a bit hard.

I got different biryani instead of rawther biryani. Rawther is common in Coimbatore. But this biryani can be defined as Garlic 🧄 biryani in a single word. A different approach it's ok for me. I don't feel a heavy feeling may be because of his garlic masala. But I don't recommend this taste may not like everyone. By visiting this hotel seeing someone else's review was a blunder. Somebody had mentioned that half biriyani cost Rs.190 but when I got the bill it was Rs. 240( including GST). Hell yeah, you heard it right, a half biriyani costs Rs.249. I never had a costly chicken biriyani in my life. The funniest part is half and full biriyani has only a price difference of 30 rupees which I came to know at the time of payment ,😐 Now coming to the point, the biriyani rice was ice cold with 2-3 small pieces of chicken. The meat was soft and well cooked. This is the only good part about their chicken biriyani. They literally loot your pocket. Prices are rocket high. The staff who served the food was very courteous. I think they are charging for the politeness of their staff, Lol😅 They serve unlimited curd with salad and chicken gravy. Thank God I haven't ordered more from here. Otherwise I would have to empty out my pocket there itself. Better find some other quality restaurants nearby. They accept cards, cash and cashless payments.

visited last week, but Food was not upto the hype , or the iconic name., Mutton leg soup was very salty.. Chicken lollipop was good, like one would get normally. Biriyani s were a let down.. Usual angannan biriyani flavor will be subtle., but this time it was bland.. very mild flavor of the biriyani, was bit more than plain ghee rice..

Disasterous experience, few of my frnds recommend briyani here, but it was literally full of Garlic( i hate garlic which may be subjective) and even other dishes were not up to the mark of justifying the price.. went in with High expectations but came out deciding not to visit again

I ate the mutton biryani and goat brain, and some chicken fries, 1- Biriyani I don't feel that much, it is just giving the garlic flavour, because the biryani bombarded with huge amount of garlic in it. Nothing more, 2- Goat brain, there is no special taste simply fried and served. 3- Chicken fries was not soft, muscle are Hard and there is no masala nothing special. All together i payed 1051 rupees !!!

Iam from kerala the food is Not at all good . Not enough quantity . It's overpriced. Don't go there if u want good biriyani.. Its not there as per shown in the photo. Then it's ur wish...

Super quick service, followed by yummy Mutton Biryani, chicken biryani and natukozhi fry. Biryani is slightly wet but worth trying out. The only thing which can be improved is the pieces of mutton.

One of the best birayani I have had. Hasn't given be a overloaded effect, feels really good after the birayani as well. One birayani would be perfect portion for one person. Hospitality and Quality super felt like home. Highly recommended!!

Had a worse experience. Bought food as parcel. When I started eating I got a piece of hair. Which I ignored and continued eating. Then I noticed a dead mosquito in the food. So disappointed. Attaching pictures on the same.

Anganan Biriyani, as the traditional name never failed to hold their quality of taste at any cost since then and every now. Yes, best place to have "Non-Veg" dishes at Coimbatore. Starting from their Biriyani to Mutton Kola balls to Chicken dry items (everything) were a signature dishes to our family. Service is awesome with due respect to their customers. Needless to say about the taste as it's super perfect all the time as I mentioned in the beginning. I wish the team all the very best on doing the good work on all the times. Average quality and taste

I ordered Mutton briyani and nattu kozhi chicken Mutton briyani 311 rupees- only fat pieces, no Mutton I expected atleast 2 Mutton pieces, total waste Nattu kochi chicken-285 Rs- no fully cooked, raw Masala paste on the outside, total 4 , out of 4 , 2 broiler chicken pieces and 1 wing and 1 bone , other onion and raw Masada, no salt Total waste, never cheated like this in coimbatore last 10years

The hospitality is always great here. They treat you warm. And the taste of the food is matching of 95 years👌. Must try in this restaurant...

This was one of my all-time favourite places many years ago. I was recently told by a friend that this place isn't as good as it was earlier; there are better choices in Coimbatore now. I refused to believe this fact and thought I'll check it for myself. My friend was right!! I was so disappointed and deeply saddened to see such a great place become "nothing." The food didn't taste great, and the service wasn't great either. Overall, cleanliness was not bad.

Taste of Biriyani is very good and the hospitality was also really nice ppl were very humble. Since being a tradition hotel and being there for a long time infrastructure may not meet your expectations with decorative’s and that also doesn’t meet it is poor it’s decent, clean and hygienic.

I am regular customer however quiet recent experinces not at all satisfied on the food. Felt legendary food is no more available or do not have right chef. Ordered country chicken gravy last time and found chicken nails,chicken leg waste in gravy, then recently ordered chicken cheetinad gravy and pepper chicken boneless, both were not good, no authenticity.. It's an observation and feedback based on my last five visits in 3 to 4 months.

Its just a huge hype created …… their briyani taste like virundhasoru (coconut rice) . Quality is just okay but quantity is really worse.. and dishes ordered second time taste differs and mixed water to increase the quantity..bad experience…..

Not worth the hype over priced All you can taste is heavy garlic flavoured biryani or yellow colour garlic rice🧄 kindly don't trust any youtuber n try I did the same and wasted 700rs. And that to i didn't get extra boiled egg which i paid 40rs swiggy responded and said they will refund 4.00rs. and hotel staff asked to reorder something so he will provide me with another plat of biryani felt like I been settled so I don't say anything wrong i refused it.. please don't try really really not worth
