Only colour of the food was awesome . 2 meals and 2 fish costs Rs.714 . For that Price you can get better food elsewhere with better taste . All the dishes were not hot. Not a single item was hot . Even the 200 rupees fish was also not hot . Only you can get the water hot because it's a Kerala restaurant. It was a complete waste of money . And also I got stomach ache after the night . I suggest you to go better place and don't waste your money .

The best restaurant in Coimbatore that provides authentic Kerala cuisines. Tried both Chicken Biryani and Chatty Chori (All mix). Loved both. Chicken biryani has 2 big pieces with adequate amount of masala. Chatty Chori (All mix)had chicken, fish fry, prawns and beef. Fish was Matthy (Sardine). Though the price is a bit on the higher side the quantity of Chatty chor was too large for a single person. Lime juice was also good. The staffs were well mannered and were there all the time to take any orders. AC dining hall is at the top floor. Parking is hard to find for a car. When you put the Direction in Google map, it may show the way through the bus stand. Don't take that way as it is closed. Just go straight and then take left turn instead of taking left turn through the bus stand.

Waited almost 15min for food after 15min they gave food which is very cold and old beef.... Really unable to understand how these people are running business 😔😔😔😔

Best choice for Non - Veg Kerala food in Gandhipuram Area. Clean and fast service. All staffs speaks Malayalam. And no one waits for your tips. I enjoyed the food. Non veg all options was available but i find it little expensive. Veg options are less but are comparatively lower priced.

The Malabar Restaurant is a Kerala restaurant which is located at Sastri Road near Hotel KK Residency Building which is behind Central Bus Stand, coimbatore. There are many varieties of non vegetarian foods. It takes days to try one food item after another. Food is fresh. Its very well organised. The staffs are good. Pricing is little bit higher, but we can pay for the quality of food we have. Biriyani is famous, chicken varieties, parotta, roast, aapam, chappathi, puttu etc etc. There are varieties of fish, chicken to taste. Really very nice. Just taste for yourself and see the difference.

Highly recommended for all, very neat and clean restaurant. Parking areas are very less and even bike parking is very risky. The food tasted good and you will get a lot of varieties available here. Customer service was not good and you won't get properly responsible from there.

It's a good family restaurant, serving wide range kerala cuisines in an 'okayish' ambience. Service was proper and coming to the pricing, it'll cost roughly ₹300 per person (and of course depends on the dish you order). Even though it's a busy, narrow road... there is sufficient parking space in the building.

I went in lunch and the food was good in taste. The quantity was sufficient as well. The only place where I was little unsatisfied was the presentation of fish fry, it wasn't that appetizing to eyes and senses. I tried buffalo meat as well (here beef is buffalo meat) it tasted good. I tried mutton biryani which was sufficient quantity and tasted good as well. The prawns were amazing and especially the black pepper in it was mesmerizing. The Kerala parota was good quality and actually tasty. In totality I shall say that the food is of good quality, portion and taste. It is a good place to go with family and friends as well. You can also try the juices which are available at the same premises. I haven't tried any dessert hence I cannot compliment about them rest main course and starters were star class. A good outlet for trying South Indian based delicacy and flavours.

Completely waste of money.. In the name of special Onam sadhya they gave worth less food for 450 rupees per meal.. just one spoon in all items and little rice not even enough for a kid. For 450 rupees u will get lot of plastic containers with one teaspoon of food items inside.. Quality of the food was also horrible, only pickle and injipuli was good all other items are not at all good. Salty rasam, exactly 3.5cm banana, sambar is average, aviyal got some smell I assume added old vegitables. Worst Onam sadhya food I ever had in last 10 years. Not even worth for 1 rating. Please do not loot people in the name of festival specials.

Myself and my friend went here Malabar restaurant SATTUR NH7 for lunch..I ordered for fish meals..my friend ordered for mutton biriyani.For fish meals they gave fish gravy with a 👎single 3 to 4 centimetres length chala meen in it..and separately 4 chala meen fried fish👌👍..but everything was less appetizing..not upto the mark😔😔 of a real fish meal..The worst was my 😠😡friend s mutton biriyani👎 which had a little higher side of salt in it.. Biriyani was not made of seeraha Samba rice..it was made of basmati rice.This hotel is on National Highway NH7 ,odaipatti,Sattur..One advantage is the good 🛻🚗🚐parking space and the surrounding environment.👍 Management has to take care and concentrate on the food they serve than getting upset or irritated after they come across a genuine review..All the best to improve..

I tried Kizhi Porotta from here, which was bad. The Porotta was mixed with some cheap curry rather than the authentic gravy. When I complained to the bill desk, I was at least expecting a sorry, but the reply was just an unpleasant smile.

Bad food...I ordered Porotta and Beef and they me uncooked beef curry... As soon as I reached my home I started to vomit... Not recommended...For the price they are charging they must be providing exceptional food instead this was a totally disappointing experience...

Worst experience from some waiters and cashier. Included additional service tax and gst for MRP soft drinks. And some times attitude is also very bad. Initial time it was good... Good restuarant that provides Kerala food in Coimbatore city. We had wandered around coimbatore just to get Kerala food and found this. We got appam for dinner as parcel and they were quite good. But may be it might be because we are not used to high spicy food the curry was too hot to handle. But taste was yummy 😋. Got a home away from home feel.
