My Sister undergone for a CT scan for Infra umbilical hernia, as we wanted to get second opinion asked for the reports. The hospital did not provide one, as they wanted to keep it to avoid surgery in another hospital. Please be aware of such things happening and I have initiated today a customer complaint to the relevant authorities. Update 1 on 21 July 2022 : Received multiple calls from hospital. The hospital mentioned that only oral report is provided to the patient who undergoes the scan. This is a big surprise that a CT scan does not involve any written report. They also claimed the fee is 2500 is not available anywhere else. There are places in Coimbatore CT scans are performed to the needy people. It is a surprise to see a response talking in the sense of “cost”. All we need here is a written report once a scan is performed. If a hospital can not provide then it’s a serious issue which will be addressed in an expected way.

Dialysis unit under Dr. Anand sir is one of the best department. Dr. Anand is a highly qualified doctor with a golden heart. My dad is undergoing dialysis for last one plus year. The dialysis department staff is very able and hardworking and take excellent care of the patients. Their attitude towards patient is also excellent. Cleanliness should also be commended. Thanks for the great care.

Came to visit a family who was admitted the hospital was very located on the main highway on sathy road just after Saravanampatty. Conveniently located for all the surrounding residents for a high class hospital experience. Ample parking and all amenities available in the hospital with experienced doctors. Found it to be a place of good service and especially well maintained with cleanliness.

One Day Room Charges (3200 rupees) For Single Private Room Non A/C Room - Bed Charge - 1500 - Nursing Charge - 800 - Main Doctor Visit Charge - 500 - Duty Doctor - 200 - Maintenance (Bedcovers & Housekeeping) - 200rs Doctor & nurse experience good. Patient food quality/taste good, but sambhar, chutney, etc. are spicy not suitable for few type of patients. Insurance Process was little Slow took 5+ hrs and verification and all, Hidden charge like Misc charges mentioning KIT for 500rs in final bill. Free Wifi didnt worked properly, always showed No Internet. Stains everywhere(in walls, bathroom) looks like an old hospital. Flies in windows.

Chose to visit Kumaran M.C. as one my guest has hurt her toe. The attention to the patient was quick in the emergency ward. Everything was satisfactory. The ortho doc saw the x-ray in the O.P. We were sent back after diagnosing it to be a v minor hairline crack. I found the charges to be 20% higher/expensive. The facilities in the hospital was very decent. Behind the main block they had physiotherapy dept and canteen.

Good treatment and infrastructure and Doctors heare really care well. Every questions you have will be answered. All Kind of Scans and test are available. Much better place to consult with. Medications have good result. Canteen is poor . pricing is higher, quantity & quality is moderate.

I came for the checkup on the problem of my frequent sneezing for the past 2years. The doctor whom I met was not up to the mark. He haven't examine me properly. He said it is small problem and it cannot be cure. Then I met with best doctor from Gandhipuram. Now I'm perfectly fine. Money Minded management and doctors. We people not expecting temporary solution for our body. Our life is not for testing purpose.

It's good to have best Ob/Gyn doctors in the neighborhood. Recently, wife had a normal delivery and cost was nominal compared to other hospitals. Everything, including lab tests, cost, doctor charges, room services were explained thoroughly and care post delivery was great. Will definitely recommend for gynecological care. Only thing we noticed negative was the water clog in hand washing area in canteen, even though it was mentioned " don't wash the vessels here," where the staff nurses were happily washing the lunch boxes and not putting the waste in the bin.

But wen it comes to Full body check up its the worst scenario.Mostly for the understanding aged people get into master check up.But they don't know anything keep waiting waiting waiting there is no follow up.Everytime we have ask the receptionist for help. I attended several physiotherapy sessions at Kumaran Medical Center (KMC) in August 2023. The idea was to continue, during my holidays, my ongoing treatment which I had started out of Tamil Nadu (Europe), following a finger cut injury. I do not usually put reviews because I dislike rating human beings who are more than numbers, but I make an exception for two persons whose excellent work should be known: Ravi Shankar and Sindhu Priya, from KMC physiotherapy department. Ravi Shankar is a very humane leader who enables a healthy team spirit and a great collaboration within the physiotherapy dpt. Thus he allowed the development of a junior colleague into a talented, bold and knowledgeable therapist in a couple of years: Sindhu Priya, who definitely has something extra in her practice, being able to feel her patients and push them to the right limits in order to get improvements. As I had less hope after a stagnation in improvement before arriving to KMC, I was happily surprised to feel improvements following their method and her (art)work. My finger functions much more than how it used to be before I started the therapy with them. I now feel optimistic and motivated to work more on it (to follow their home exercises...). As a result, after a little more than 2 weeks, I am glad I met Sindhu Priya, her friendly boss Ravi Shankar, her caring colleagues. I am deeply grateful to all of them, especially Keerthana and Akila, and the orthopaedic surgeon Sivaraj I consulted, who were as professional and as kind. And others that I met. As a summary, dear KMC employees, from the Physiotherapy team to the canteen (nearby!), reception and security staff, vazhttukal and mikka nandri! I am positively surprised that physiotherapy can bring so much functionality to an injured part of the body. One does not generally give enough credits to physiotherapists but my experience with this team has made me strongly believe in the importance of physiotherapy. The medical field aims at improving health, well-being, simply life of people: this was definitely the case for me at KMC. Hats off to the physiotherapy team of KMC!

1. General physician never hearing properly from us, he only gives medicine and busy in printing prescription. Finally we didn't want to force him and left. Fed up. 2. No proper communication with staff nurses (some) caused Missed one of the doctor consultation and asked nurses, finally done. 3. Unfortunately we had break fast in hospital canteen, is average.. 4. second floor TV volume is more and disturbing patients and would get head ache and high blood pressure. Isaiyaruvi TV: kuthu and very glamour songs. Patient woud get admitted seriously. 5. Some places poor ventilation especially second floor ECG ECHO area. 6. Doctors( some) are asking 'why you come for master health check up tests , we said that we have many issues that's why, then they say all are normal, but general physician never even hear our problems. 7. Seems like most of the staffs are very less experience and no proper service/ discipline. Do not know when will they improve. 8. Hospital was opened 2019 only, that is the reason hospital building looks new, no wonder, mpeaple 9. People simply says Kumaran is good for everything, but not really, we spent big money but service (paid service) is not good. 10. Over all performance is 1.5/5 Irresponsible staff nurses (most of them) 11. Test equipments are new and good in performence. 12. We are not recommend this hospital , only can go for emergency.

One of the finest healthcare providers in CBE. Writing this review as a father who is grateful for the services provided. We took our 6-year-old for a deep-seated foot infection. We first went through Dr. Dr. S. Sivagnanam at the ER. From there on Dr. Sivaraj, Dr. Valliyappan, Dr. Kausalya, and Dr. Hariprasad. Truly a team of great physicians and nurses, all humble. I got operated for Gall bladder removal surgery on 10.06.2022.Dr. Hari Prasad MRCS and Team of Doctors performed surgery well. Though I got admitted with infected gall bladder and high fever with severe pain, Doctors made me to recover quickly. Again on 31.08. 2023 , I was diagnosed for acute Occipital Ischemic Infarct and got admitted. Dr Kaushik DM (Neuro) and Dr. Saravanan Sakthivelu MD.,and Team treated me and got recovered well in 5 days. All Radiology Pathology and Cardiology tests were done very quickly. All Technical staff were efficient and so kind. Admission and Insurance staff were so nice.Nurses were kind enough. My Brother in law who is an ENT Surgeon elsewhere on seeing the Discharge Summary, Reports and Prescription, happily opined that " You have landed in a Very Good Hospital at the hands of Good Surgeons. Systematic and quick investigations and immediate stroke protocol treatment has saved you from the Brain attack." Dr.Kaushik and Dr Saravanan Sakthivelu gave me encouraging words which helped me a lot to recover from the attack Clinically and Psychologically. One of the best hospitals I've ever been to. All the doctors and nurses are kind and supportive. However, it would be great if the husband is allowed while women get their pregnancy scans. Also, husbands should be allowed inside labour ward while wife delivers the baby.

Consulted Dr.Sivaraj for my ma's knee replacement surgery. The entire process of consultation to planned surgery to recovery to discharge was seamlessly handled by the hospital. Hospital staff are very courteous and helpful. Doctor Sivaraj is an expert and handled the procedure very confidently and smoothly. Explained all the details patiently. Hospital facilities are good. Room is regularly cleaned & sanitized. Round the clock canteen is available. Canteen food is healthy & tasty. Admitted at morning 12.30 am with severe pain. No senior experienced doctors came and gave any further treatment afterall having been suffering from such an grievous pain. Only duty doctors was available without proper experience. All the procedures was been done by nurses. After 9 hours a doctor came and he was just blinking without knowing actual problem of the patient and when we attendees questioned him Doctor replied " it is not his duty to satisfy all" By this we took spontaneous decision to get discharged and runoff . Worsted experience and we never recommend this hospital to anyone Thank you

Writting this review as I had a really good experience at Kumaran Hospital for my Covid treatment. We had 4 of our family members admitted in a span of 2 days and the hospital went out of its way to help us get our folks admitted from our home on time - thanks to Mr. Mohan. Overall the staff is very very helpful and treat you with empathy. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I really liked Dr. Saravanan and his honest opinion on what tests are required based on our condition and what should not be done so that we don't end up piling on the bill as well. The hospital has a good team which helps with insurance promptly. The only thing I can suggest for betterment can be making the food healthier. The quantities were huge for me and I am not a rice eater so could get a change of menu to North Indian at times :) My 2 yr old was also admitted and the chef actually came to our room to ask what will the child have in terms of food. I am really grateful for your hospitality especially when you were treating us for Covid. Thank you 😊

I would like to express my gratitude to whole Kumaran Medical Center team for easing out our pregnancy journey. Me and wife were blessed with baby girl via normal labour with the help of Dr. Kavitha and her supporting nurses, they were very friendly and supportive throughout the labour. After the labour admission nurses took care of my wife and monitored her frequently until the proper dialation. Biggest advantage is, Husband's are allowed inside labour room, which was a beautiful experience. Initial checkup and scans from Radiology department was good. One suggestion that I have is, they could have allowed husband during scanning. Ramani from administration department assisted us from day 1 with all the formalities and hospitality, Rooms were clean and hygienic. And Dr.Valliappan pediatrician did regular checkup for our baby and was very patient in clearing our doubts. There was lactation counselling as well which was useful for getting knowledge about latching in detail. Overall our experience was completely satisfied. Thank you so very much Dr. Kavitha and team.

Hi we are visited for the Gyanaecologist issue. Dr. Ramya madam approach is Very good but all other staffs includes Nurses and Radiology staffs are very poor because they're not aware the patients emergency. Very very very poor staffs performance.

We came today to see a Genaral physician since my wife had been suffering with fever, cold and cough and it was bad, we were refereed to Dr.Sasi since Dr Saravanan was not there. Dr Sasi was at the ICU and the nurse mentioned that she check and will get back to us after knowing his availability, it's been more than 30 minutes but still didn't hear back and she is just looking at us.This hospital is excellent however due to some bad staff they lose their reputation. I don't want to mention the nurses name. STILL IN THE HOSPITAL, STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THAT NURSE.

Visited the Kumaran Medical Center for a wrist pain after 3 weeks of accident, and diagnosed with Scaphoid fracture, and suggested for a operation.. Dr. Sivaraj helped me and my family to completely understand my situation and suggest the proper treatment and consequences of delaying the treatment, which helped us to come to a decision definitely. In KMC, all the staff properly taken care of me during the operation and post check-up. After 3 months of recuperation, I am able to do daily activities normally. I was very confused while I got severe pain. Dr. Madan Mohan (Intervention Radiologist) cleared all my doubts calmly. Confidence came. I chose Kumaran Hospital and contacted the insurance office. Their speed of action was astonishing. I got admitted there. Everyone performed well with responsibility. Especially Ms.Swathi, the nurse on night duty was so helpful. Recently my father hospitalized due to covid19. Treatment and care was good but cost little high. Always making more than 1lakh if you admitted for covid19 treatment. My father admitted around 6:30pm after result came. Admission person explained about cost and everything. I informed to person, I admitting my father almost night. Please don't charge full amount. He told me I will note it. I was shocked after final bill came, they charged so many hidden charges. Please inform before admission which is not included like that. Please consider half amount room rent if admitted evening or night because we are paying huge amount for each day.

I was admitted in Kumaran hospital last year, July 2022 due to a radial fracture in wrist and had implant plates after surgery. And now it's completely fine and had my radial plates removed yesterday on a mild surgery. I'm completely fine and thanks to Dr.Shivaraj - Orthopedician who did both my surgeries. Such a cool and clever ortho doctor I have met in my life. All the staffs and technicians behaviour was excellent. Hope to recover soon.... Nurse's : Nurse's must be talk calmly to patients . They also little rude. Request to be respect and welcome the patients .

I admitted my father for Covid in critical condition in Feb'22. It was a hassle free admission and immediately started their treatment. Within a day he recovered good. Duty doctor who was in-charge of the Covid explained the condition and treatment being given very well. He explained calmly for all the doubts we have asked. Care given by nurse team is the best I ever seen. Beyond medicine, it supported my father to gain confidence for fast recovery from Covid. Hospital is very clean and food provided also very healthy, hygienic. I recommend this hospital based on my experience.

The hospital staff took care of my mother well during the hospitalization. Hospital is clean and well maintained. Hospital doctors are trustworthy and genuine. Just one minor miscommunication with insurance desk could have been avoided.

Extremely clean and swanky hospital. Room are also reasonably priced considering how comfortable and well maintained they are. Unlike GKNM which is guarded like a military unit to prevent entry of family members the hospital was pretty accommodative of multiple attenders. Doctors spent enough time and patiently addressed questions and responded to them. The only person who was very rude and discourteous was the radiologist who did the CT scan. I saw another negative review too mentioning him. I hope the hospital takes notice. When a neurologist can be down to earth I don't see why a radiologist needs to be so arrogant. The care experience though did not match the quality of infrastructure and a lot of unnecessary tests were ordered. Also a very costly antibiotic course was given without discussing with family or giving the rationale for the same. It would be a great private hospital if care is also taken to minimize costs for the patient by doing away with unnecessary tests. I remember KG had at one time gained notoriety for doing this. They may have changed since but I have been careful not to set my foot in there. I hope this hospital doesn't go the same way.

One of the best medical service providers . The hospital location was very peaceful. The doctors and staff are so friendly. The hospital was maintained very neatly. Rooms are maintained very clean and floors are clean twice. The diet was so so good and healthy i didn't expect this much good and tasty food at hospital.

We are very grateful for the care and support my sister received during her delivery. Though we moved here at the end of second trimester, Dr. P. Kavitha and Dr. Ramya did detailed analysis and motivated for normal delivery. Especially during labor, they were very supportive and delivered the twins normally which is very rare now a days in other hospitals. We thank you from our bottom of the heart for the bundles of joy.

I visited Dr.Sivaraj (MS Ortho) to get a second opinion for my torn shoulder tendon. After just one visit I decided to get my treatment from him. He spent a good amount of time explaining the injury, the surgical procedures etc. and answered all our questions with patience. He showed us video recordings of his past surgeries for similar injuries which made me feel comfortable about the whole thing. The surgery was successful and I made a full recovery. The hospital is very clean, well maintained and organized. It has well lit, wide open spaces. I have been to 3 doctors in this hospital - Dr.Sivaraj (Ortho), Dr.Karthik (Cardiology) and Dr.Sasi (Family Medicine). All of these doctors are very good at what they do.
