I am sharing this review after 45 days of my surgery To be honest, I was really scared after reading mixed reviews. Who will not be?? That too for eye surgery, but the procedure was really quick 5 minutes for an eye and it is safe. There is nothing to be worried about as your surgery will be supervised by the experienced doctor, Dr.Srinivasan. My surgeon Dr.kesavan is also well equipped and supportive. He took me thoroughly about the procedure and explained the before and after-effects of the surgery. The confidence he gave me before the surgery was constructive. The recovery needs time that is for sure, and all you need is patience and enjoy the recovery for the specs-free eyes.. ✌️

My mom was bed ridden and she had Cataract on both her eyes. We approached a couple of known names in Coimbatore but it was just delaying any kind of treatment. We had a call with the doctors at Madurai Eye center, brought my Mom the next day and after a quick examination they proposed to remove the Cataracts. Although for many this might be a very simple 10 minutes cut and paste job, but not for my mom as she was very at a critical stage, weak and needed Anesthesia. I was so glad that we had a chance to treat her at Madurai Eye Center, the Ophthalmologists were very kind, professional, treated with care and speed. The Hospital staff were very caring, respectful and humble. I would definitely recommend this place for any one searching for a honest eye care.

It's been 20 years I'm taking treatment with Dr.Srinivasan. He diagnosed my problem and suggested me with right medication. I'm happy with the services they provide. Thanks to Madurai eye center!

We had such a worst experience with Dr Srinivasan on 18th october 2023. He is not having basic mannerism on how to talk to a patient. He was so arrogant and was giving wrong solution and compelled me to do the surgery the same day of the visit, Which was not mandatory. I don't recommend this hospital and mainly this particular doctor(Dr Srinivasan) .

Am Dr Sophia Feeling very bad that i went there. My sight went really bad after t treatment. T doctor was really rude when I informed him as soon as I felt immediately after t surgery. A COMPLETE WASTE OF 40000

I would rate in negative if there was option. Such a worst service. I took my mother for cataract surgery left eye, soon after the Surgery Dr told that it was complicated it took a long time so and so... She did not get her vision back. When we visited for the second time after surgery Dr told she he had epithalist. Why was this not verified before the surgery?? We not happy hencetook second opinion at Madurai Aravind, they informed us they don't find any such issues and they suggest us to use glass for better vision that would be the only option.. now we took treatment for the second eye at Aravind now she is good with the right eye.

Awesome experience. Literally liked all the services provided by doctors and other support persons through out the surgery.. Who helped at each and every stage.cleared all the minor doubts that patient ask for it..Initially I was worried wearing specs..now this surgery made me to be free from it .Now I am completely happy and got extra relief after remove able of specs. I strongly recommended this hospital for all the person's who is having issue with eyes..

I had a horrible experience in this hospital with Dr Srinivasan (Director). He was so rude and arrogant with the patient. He started off with shouting at the Nurse with arrogant tone in front of the patient at the very beginning itself. He was forcing us to do the operation immediately which was not an emergency and for that matter it was only optional which we came to know from another good Eye hospital. His reply and way of talking was so irritating that I was forced to leave his room with Frustration. To add oil to the fire when questioned as to when can we have the surgery he said , dont ask me all these questions in a rough tone. I would not recommend this hospital especially Dr Srinivasan to any one. He needs counselling how to talk to patients politely.

I had a worst experience with this Madurai eye centre, Dr. Srinivasan was the doctor I got consulted with and he was having a very bad and arrogant behaviour with me and he was not giving a proper diagnosis. His way of dealing patient was not professional and he literally compelled/forced me to do the surgery on the same day and he was not giving me options. Kindly avoid consulting in this hospital and very importantly Dr. Srinivasan.

Excellent both in terms of treatment and patient experience. 15 doctors in Pune has not been able to diagnose my eye watering problem. Now the issue is identified and all possible treatment has been tried. Surgery has been the Last resort. I am very much comfortable.

Myself and my wife did Lasik surgery here,it was painless and very easy procedure and doctor Naveen keshav sir was very friendly and totally explained everything about the process and did the Lasik within 10 mins time.The staffs here were very friendly and helpful too.We both are very happy for the clear vision and the care which sir gave. Did laser for mother. And it was a very good and neat experience. From the next day of the surgery she was able to do her works and got a clear vision too. Happy with the service and worth visiting.

Worst service. Staff make the patients wait unnecessarily. Money is collected before diagnosis and cash receipt not given. Prescription is not handed over to the patients and they are compelled to buy spectacles from their optical show room. Not adviceble bcoz of poor treatment and service.

Doctors are very friendly and polite. Explained the actual issue and solution which can make us feel comfortable and confident.

Undergone lasik surgery First with other reviews i thought of some discomfort with the hospital But after consulting Dr. Naveen keshav i had some comfort in the treatment Dr has a very good experience and patience towards the patient and explain all questions Even i had some silly questions to him but he didn’t hesitate to provide answers Nurses are polite and provide further help Cons:-(why 4 star) I personally thought that rest area is not much clean than other areas, apart from that nothing else

Have been taking treatment from Srinivasan doctor for a long time, but things are very different now. One hour of wait time with absolutely no crowd. Staffs are very lethargic. Takes forever to meet the doctor. Receptionist, nurse are so irresponsible. Staffs have simply ruined the years of doctor’s legacy.

I went for a cyst removal in one of my eyelids and I've been consulting some famous eye centres and doctors in rs puram, finally arrived at Madurai eye center. Staffs were so friendly and made it feel like home, the doctor explained the procedure well and also got the cyst removed within 20 to 30 mins which the other hospitals told me that it will take around 2 to 3 months. My eyes are good and there will be one review about the cyst removal once with the doctor . And the best thing is the procedure is very much affordable as compared to the other facilities.
