This is the best railway station in South India under southern railways. Kept neat and clean. Announcements are very useful and clear. Escalator and lift facilities are available. Breastfeeding facility also available. Trains to Kerala and Karnataka are operated from this route.

A very neat and clean southern railway station. It has an underground path way to connect all the platforms and also it has escalators on most of the platforms. If you're a first time visitor here, you can hire a cab for your trip to Adiyogi and Ooty. You can see so many cab drivers outside of platform number 1.

Wonderful station specially in term on cleaning and lighting. There is bridge and underpass as well to change platforms. Heavily occupied all the time similar to all other Junctions. It is really spacious, attractive and safe station. Locomotive engine dummy is an attraction point here.

Near tourist place, If you go 25 km there is Karunya University, there are views just to go inside, and after 5 km there is a huge waterfall, it is a place where many tourists come.

Here there are two ways to enter. The front and back.. the red taxi stand, autos are available at the back end. Buses and hotels are available at the front entrance... In both. Entrance, ticket counter is available. But the information center is at the front entrance only.

A busy railway station with trains to almost all parts of India. It's crowded all the time. The basic facilities such as toilets, drinking water, retiring rooms, food counters,etc, are available 24x 7. Main platforms are usually clean and tidy. The outer platforms at times are crowded by parcels. The entry / exits are at the end of the platforms... hence some passengers will have walk considerable distances. Battery-operated trolleys are available some of the times and only in some of the platforms
