Visited here on 26th Nov 2022. Vivekananda Rock and boating is open. 50rs boating charges and 30rs entry fee to the rock. Tiruvalluvar statue is under construction... Life jacket provided in the boat is pathetic... Smells badly. No clips for locking the jacket. Outdated boats. 3 boats are there for commuting. Tip: Try to visit there for boating in the morning as less crowds will be there. After 11am till 1pm there was a heavy crowd. 1pm to 3pm less crowds but you will be affected by heavy direct sunlight... The evening will be more crowded as everyone wants to see the sunset from there.

It is one of the most popular tourist spot in Kanyakumari. It's a great place to watch sun rise and sunset.I visit this place on a weekend, so it was really crowded. But still it was a great experience. The beach was clean and well maintained. The only issue I felt was to find a parking spot . I would really recommend this place to all.

Visited this Southern Tip of India at July end... Nice peaceful place during early morning nd evenings for beach lovers .. short ferry ride is there to Vivekananda Rock Memorial ..but not d best time to see Sunrise nd sunset... Clouds will be there . But still v were lucky to see spectacular sunrise from Seaview hotel room itself.. must visit Triveni Sangam place here where Indian Ocean Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal vl merge, .. Vivekanand rock memorial is also good... No other tourist attractions nearby ... Fort is not that good ..... Near Nagercoil 40mins journey frm Kanyakumari u can visit Nagaraj temple, suchindram temple and padmanabhapuram palace.. shell ornaments nd other decorative items r very cheap, banana chips r very tasty

The most popular and scenic place in Kanyakumari. We visited in Nov 2021 and due to covid situation the crowd was not there so we really had a nice visit there. The place is scenic and you can just spend hours by looking at the blue water. There are few local small shops near at the entrance as well as by the beach.

I went here in morning to see Sunrise and the view is magnificent in spite of the fact that it was little cloudy on that particular day. It's quite rush here during sunrise time but that adds to the thrill. If you want a very clear sunrise/sunset view, avoid the month of November, December particularly as it's time of retreating monsoon.

Great place. I always wanted to visit it with my family. Finally it happened. The evening walk along the beach is just great. The morning view of the sunrise from the hotel terrace was extraordinary. Fisherman boats sailing over the sea, auction of fishes, all are just awesome moments.

India’s 🇮🇳 end point or tip of India 🇮🇳. Excellent place to be visited, you can witness mukadal or three 3️⃣ seas (Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea) at a time. It has got many tourists attractions. Definitely must visit place.

Kanyakumari beach is the southern most tip of India known for being the only place where you can see the sunrise and the sunset. When we visited the skies were overcast so we could not enjoy the colours of the sunrise and sunset.

The Virgin Princess', referring to Devi Kanya Kumari), also known as Cape Comorin, is a city in Kanniyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and the southernmost city in mainland India, and thus referred to as "The Land's End". The city is situated 90 kilometres (56 mi) south of Thiruvananthapuram city, and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Nagercoil, the headquarters of Kanniyakumari district. Kanniyakumari is a popular tourist destination and pilgrimage centre in India. Notable tourist spots include its unique sunrise and sunset points, the 41-metre (133 ft) Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast. Lying at the tip of peninsular India, the town is bordered on the west, south, and east by the Laccadive Sea. It has a coastline of 71.5 kilometres (44.4 mi) stretched along these three sides. On the shores of the city is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kanniyakumari (the virgin Goddess), after which the town is named. Kanniyakumari has been a city since the Sangam period and was referred to in old Malayalam literature and in the accounts of Ptolemy and Marco Polo.

Southern tip of India. The place where all the three Bay of Bengal, Indian ocean and Arabian sea meets. Excellent sun ☀️rise and sun set ☀️view. Must visit and watch all these places without fail. One of the best places in India. We have a boating to reach Vivekandar rock. Having many options to reach this place via all the commute.

Best sunrise and sunset view at this beach, but a little crowded, you have to wait in the long line to visit Vivekananda rock memorial, sunrise and sunset depending on weather conditions, you will be disappointed if it's cloudy, room rates higher compared to other tourist destinations, most attractive point is you can experience fresh fish items from there

Must visit as this is the most southern tip of Indian subcontinent. Sunset and sunrise is a must to see here. There's Vivekanand rock memorial and great poet thiruvalluvar statue in the sea around to see !! The sea is very crazy so I do not recommend to swim as it's too windy !!!

Best coast to watch Sunrise / Sunset. You have the Vivekananda Swamy rock to visit and the tall Thiruvalluvar statue as well. Hotels exist from the rock bottom budget range with access to Rly. Stn. & Bus Stand. Shopping zone and budget friendly location. Good food joints available. People are not eager to maintain the cleanliness by throwing garbage all around.

Kanyakumari is the one of the best place to visit in Tamilnadu, India. Beautiful sunrise we can see here in Kanyakumari beach. Tiruvalluvar statue is the amazing architecture and this statue view from Kanyakumari beach is awesome. Vivekananda Memorial also nice to visit. It's a good place to spend time with friends and family. Sunrise and sunset view points are so cool and pleasant. Foods, snacks and shooping things are available near the beach. Bagavathy Amman Temple is very near to this beach, and this temple God only called Kanyakumari Amman. Nice time we spent here with my brothers and had great memories with them and Kanyakumari people. Best place to watch sunrise and sunset. Near by the beach there is one Aqua life museum you can see different kind of marine life at that place.

It's a good place to relax, enjoy and take a bath at kanyakumari beach. If you are tired of covering all the places just come and chill at this place. The wave of sea gives thrill when it touches the shores. It is at the back side of kanyakumari temple.

The view....the wind....the wave.....no other beaches can provide this feel...there is steps provided in the main beach are skidding due to algae,if the authority clean it once a week can decrease accidents.

The Kanyakumari Beach is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The sparkling ocean, the soft sand, and the majestic mountains all make for an unforgettable view. I love spending time here, watching the waves crash against the shore and feeling the sand between my toes. The Kanyakumari Beach is a true gem, and I am so lucky to be able to call it my home.

An amazing and humbling experience! What a splash of colours all at one place be it sunrise or sunset. This is the only place in India where you can watch sunrise and sunset both. The merger of Indian Ocean, Arabian sea and Bay of bengal is so visible and loud. There is a walkway made of stones where you can go and stand surrounded by the three bodies of water. Although it's a little bit risky with little kids as the stones are not smooth and have big gaps in them for a little child to slide into. It is doable during the day, I would not suggest to go there after sunset.

Woow place!! A scenic & Amazing sight seeing place in Tamilnadu. Mine was unplanned trip although never getting any disappointment 😊. There people was helpful and complete safty as for as me. Lot of staying place available In and around Beach area. This time the climate was fantastic🤘😝. Only concern for good food. Especially South Indian. Many punjabi dhaba available. Have tried one of the restaurant. Good food with reasonable cost. Can spent two days to enjoy the whole places. If your luck can see the Sunrises without any cloud formation. But the feel was totally different especially for new goers. Over all Fantastic place makkaley!!

Wonderful place to explore the pride of sea and cherish with some history of Tamilnadu. Boating to Vivekanandar rock will close around 4:30pm. So plan ahead to reach if you wish for boating. Fridays and Sundays will be less crowded according to the boatman. Saturdays are highly crowded with people. Of course, we visited on a Saturday!! Kids loved the place and didn't like to leave the place even after sunset. You can see the waves start roaring around 6 and soars!! There are dressing rooms but are closed. Separate toilet is available for usage but was charged 10rs per person. You can purchase all sorts of spices, dresses, handcrafted shells, flower vases, stationery items, etc here. Eatables like sundal, boiled groundnut, roasted nuts, sugarcane juice, Nannari sarpath, chats, etc are available. There are also people selling glasses, small chains, toys, kaleidoscope, etc which children will love to buy!! In addition to that, you can take lovely photos, several people roam here with cameras and you can get laser printed photos in 10 minutes. 100rs charged per photo.
