The Ettikulam Beach lies at the northern boundary of Kannur. Rare medical herbs (Ramayana) with mythological significance grow on Ezhimala, the strange seven-peaked range. Around 50 kms from here, is the Mount Deli Lighthouse, an old tower of great antiquity. It's maintained by the Navy and is a restricted area. The beach sand is of a different texture and the sea is bluer that in other areas. At the Ettikulam bay one could enjoy watching dolphins. Ezhimala Beach is situated at the top of a clump of hills at an altitude of 286m and it is 55 kilometers from Kannur. Best place to spend your evening. The sunset view from rock top is amazing. Parking space is good. No life guards so be careful while getting wet in beach. No beach activities. Since sign boards are less it's little bit difficult to reach here.

Awesome getaway to go with friends and family 😇🥰 One can spend a good 1-2 hours in peaceful beach with Indian Naval Academy,Ezhimala in vicinity. . There is a swing, fishing boats and nadan thattu kada ( road side hotel) for chai and snacks...the thattu kada has a friendly cat too pet of the owner .. when you walk towards INA one can find a boundary after which it's their restricted territory! Awesome beach with high tides and soothing ambience

It's a nice beach. It's not that crowded, but on evenings you can expect some people here. Parking lots are not available but there are small spaces for parking. The beach is long and the sunset here is beautiful. It's best to go here in evenings because there are not much shades.

Good and neat beach to spend time with family. Few shops are nearby. Vehicle parking is not an issue because you can park your car on the roadside and the place is not crowded. There are few rocks available along the beach side.
