Room was average but food cost was very huge, charged additional for room service at dinner time even though dinner was free with the package. Should have mentioned earlier that food item service to room was additional. We had ordered some items to the room along with the other food item list for dinner as buffet was not available. In normal cases, this should had been fine - buffet will be free if included in the package and room service would be chargeable, but here in this case no buffet was available and we were mentioned that we can order the items over to the restaurant and they will keep ready the items which we wished to have for dinner, they SHOULD HAD mentioned that room service was chargeable which they apologized only in the last moment at the time of checkout. Also room was average, the bed for third person was just a normal sofa converted to bed which was not at all comfortable and there were cockroaches running inside the room. The room key condition was pathetic too. The views were average. But the total price was too high considering the facilities provided. No welcome drink was provided though which was already mentioned in the package. The manager just said that he is not able to do further more and apologized which was not at all a professional attitude. Please DO NOT visit this property!!!! We had a wonderful experience at Sterling Munnar resort last year and we expected a similar one too and therefore had booked prior without thinking about the cost.

The resort is in a superb location. It is built very nicely, with lots of trees inside which keeps it cooler than outside. The views of the river is great from the resort. The rooms are all built of wood which gives adds to the overall aesthetic, although I wish they weren't so stingy with the space - the rooms could be a little more spacious. Only other area of improvement could be food - more options and fair pricing. Overall it is an amazing place to relax and detox and have an experience. Leave your phone behind, get some massage and enjoy the views!

We came here as a family. We had a really good time. Lots of activities available. Swimming pool was well maintained. Food was very good with good service. Rooms were a bit small but tidy and convenient. Would definitely recommend.

We had been here during Christmas of 2023, very friendly staff, decent food, good amenities. The room that was allotted to us was quite compact and the restroom could have definitely been better. What stands out for you is the staff! Very humble, polite and they are at your service when you need them without a fuss. Was a beautiful resort but not happy with the restaurant service...the restaurant manager was charging us extra... When we made enquiry, then only they changed the bill.. The charge for activities are too high. Breakfast was good.. But wont recommend the restaurant for dinner or lunch.. We were asked to reveal our cloth type in the pool which was a shocking thing from a reputed resort...

The place is neat and clean. Good for a quick break. But be aware that pool is too small as compared to the picture given online. Everything is charged as extra to the limit of a using a small kids paddle boat and even cycle inside the property. Never seen that anywhere before. Avoid external excursions as that is heavily priced to what is offered. Restaurant need major improvements from good variety, taste and no.of staff. Staff is good and courteous.

We took 2 rooms for 3 nights and really enjoyed as a whole. Rooms were neat and clean. Service provided by the resort was also good and up to the mark. Sight seeing was worth and we really enjoyed river walk and birds watch. Both were different experiences but worth it. Especially for the birds watch a person named Shana who is from Sterling itself came to guide us and he had a good knowledge of it. His patience should be greatly appreciated. Haven’t seen those kind of birds in the past and it was really a good feel. He has materials to show us about the birds; his guidance was excellent. As a whole I loved being there. :-)

We chose Sterling Anaikatti for our family holiday. With small kids and in short distance from Coimbatore it was a perfect choice. It was a pleasant experience right from booking, confirmation and follow ups. Food facility needs a special mention, the team at restaurant and kitchen made our stay very memorable with delicious food throughout the stay. The all meal plan we chose turned out to be a great option. Sterling had a great team here, cheers!

Good location for peaceful and nature filled get away with friends and family. Well maintained property with all basic amenities. Various options for nature lovers and sight seeing in near areas. It's a smaller in comparison to other Sterling resorts but totally eco friendly. Food was excellent. Coming to services, the so called games room definitely needs a facelift and maintenance. It was equally disappointing to hear that the coracle experience wasn't possible as the boatman was on leave. Such a big resort should have a backup arrangement as tourists travel from afar and book quite in advance. But on the whole it was a pleasant experience.

I'm very much happy reading the food given by sterling holidays., chef Mani made our holiday really well. His food is really good and very tasty. Especially he made food for my 1.8 year old baby is very nice. I will recommend sterling special for chef Mani. Holiday activities MR .Ajay

With a continuous flowing water sound from the river in front of our Room along with birds chirping it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. Nice place for relaxing.

Not the best sterling, the extra beds are lying outside. Considering a moist and humid environment anything can crawl into these mattresses. Food is not equivalent to other sterling resorts I have visited.

Very nice and clean and large open place. Staff from front desk to one and all restaurant, chef in person, room service gardeners and of course manager himself. All have motto of keep us happy. Food prepared per our need of Jain veg food. No problem . We even carried some of our vegetables and the chef prepared as per our instructions. For guju Bhai he made excellent KHICHADI and KADHI . HE IS MASTER CHEF. Good activity room.Go9d swimming pool. please do not visit wildlife sanctuary. It costs es. 3000 tongo there and other rs. 3000 for govt. Jeep . Did not see anything except one monkey. On observation point do. Ot go to canteen which will give you leech in head and leg. There is restroom at the entrance of observation tower. No need to go below for canteen restroom .

This is an awesome resort at nature's best. It has a warm and welcoming team at the resort. The food is good, and the restaurant team keeps taking feedback and caters to our taste and requirements. Swimming pool and club activities are quite engaging. Even more exciting was the bird watching trip around the resort. Children love the activities here. Kudos Team Sterling Anaikatti!

Not worth the spend. River view is not that great and no access to river Not so customer friendly and they charge 125 per hour for cycling, golf and few others I would suggest to look at other options for this cost like SR or Poppys Besides the service is bad and pests are everywhere seems like no proper maintenance I also attached the quality of the water bottle they gave in room. I will leave it to you to decide

We stayed overnight for a weeken outing, and it was an excellent peaceful easily approachable well located resort. The rooms/ cottages are well maintained and well distributed too. The staff was very polite and caretaking. Buffet spreads were delicious. Really enjoyed the stay.

The rooms were not clean. The service was very average and they goofed up our breakfast order after which the general manager Mr. Arvind took special care of us and made sure we got good service. Chef Mani prepared special south indian meals for us on our request n also made appam n stew which was not on the menu.

The Spa treatment provided by Bhagya and Akhil were very professional and friendly. We are very happy with the service provided by them. Food provided by Chef Mani was delicious. He took care of all our needs. Ajay from travel desk was very helpful. In short all the team including the housekeeping, restaurant staff and security were very helpful

Resort is inside the coconut plantation. Great quiet place for the family and kids to hangout and spend time with the family. Wooden cottages are cosy with mostly river view. Unfortunately there is no access to the river, I guess this was for safety reasons. If you like indian food, you will find the food is tasty and delicious. If you are looking for continental, chinese, other cuisines, it wont taste as good as indian food. Service is slow. When you call, they take lot of time to respond. However the resort manager is friendly and responsive. If your issue is not resolved, contact Manager, he will take care of the issue.

Worst experience . They don't have separate pool for kids and adults which is a blunder. Pool was maintained so badly, water was highly contaminated. Chlorine level was high in the pool. My kid played in the pool and within 5 hrs she got fever. Later she was diagonised with bacterial infection because of contaminated water. She really struggled a lot. These people getting huge money from us but failing to provide the best service. Never try this resort

Food was nice but the dishes were less compared to other locations. Ajay was guiding all the activities in the resort, Chef Mani was given the nice food to us.

All over experience was good. Really as a family we enjoyed a lot. They had lot of fun games, pool is good. Especially the food is good and Mr.Shankar from restaurant is very friendly. He provided all the items what we requested for our child without any thoughts.

The whole staff looked after us so well.We being senior citizen couple were pampered and well looked after.our stay was made extra comfortable.The whole staff should be thanked for their courteous and caring attitude .Special thanks to Arvind the manager and debashish and mani in the restaurant,who went extra mile to see that we did not have any problem whatsoever during our stay of 3 days.The place is heaven if you are type who enjoys quietness and nature,as the resort is in the heart of forest

Sterling Anaikatti is a good place to hang out. The roads leading to the resort is not good. The resort is by the river side and offers a moderate ambience. The swimming pool is very small and there is very less number of activities within the resort. Food is average. I didn't get any issues with the management and the services was also good.

Exceptional staff and service. Resort is good with decent rooms and amenities. Resort activity centre has soem decent activities and there are some tourist areas near by. Good enough to spend a couple of nights peacefully.

Had a memorable stay! Had a river facing villa to stay, the sound of the flowing water was nice. This was enhanced with occasional rains. An open balcony to sit and enjoy the view helped further Wood house stay is an experience. The room was clean and kept well. Service of the folks around is commendable. The restaurent gives good choice of food between a la carte and buffet(only if reasonable occupancy is there). Smart child friendly pool of great entertainment for children and adults. This place is in sync with nature and less of artificial make-over Parking space is provided across the road, maintained by the resort. Discovery room, helps us to explore on-premise activities. Sight-seeing trips are organised by the resort or also by folks across the road - choice is ours!. You can self plan sight-seeing to locations nearby, but most of the places/hillocks will have to be visited on foot or 4x4 vehicles Note- Check the restaurent menu before ordering so as to avoid billing surprises.

Absolutely this is my personal opinion After ordering the food we had to wait a long time and it was not because of the rush to get the food, I had to pay more than I expected. The most important thing is that the vehicle we are coming in should be parked outside without any liability under this owner.

Had a pleasant stay at Sterling Anaikatti. The food was fantastic. Opted for Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast package for a day. Loved the desserts . We had lots of varieties in Buffet to choose for and almost all the foods tasted great. Mr. Debashish was very friendly and caring through his services. Have been traveling to Sterling Resorts since 1994 and this trip was made after a long gap. We were pleasantly surprised with the massive improvement made, especially in their hospitality. The restaurant food and service was excellent. Mr Debashish and his team went all out to make our dining experience enjoyable. We were touched by their efforts to make our Father's day dinner very special by their impromptu gesture of letting my daughter cook a dish for her father. Wishing Sterling and their team the very best.

Ambiance was good, but rooms are small size sufficient only for 2 peoples. The food is normal cannot except like 3 star hotels. The staffs was good in service. The price is not fixed it vary depends on season.

It's a wonderful place to have family time in a busy schedule, it's completely different from city life and very near to kovai and erode people. But there are not many places to visit , you can relax your mind and body for a while. We got a room with a river view which is awesome , we can sit and relax for hours.

The experience of breakfast was very nice. They had all range of breakfast varieties. The service manager Debasish was courteous and was attending to all of us frequently. The taste was also good. Overall good experience of breakfast. Stay was nice as well. The place is located away from bustling city in a calm environment.

I liked the ambiance here. The room is very neat and clean. The food was good and the staffs were very friendly, especially Debasis was very humble and kind. I tried pasta and briyani here and the taste was amazing. They do have a river side view where we can sit and relax (the view of nature is so nice). Calm and quite place for a peaceful stay. Good ambience. Parking is outside the property which needs to be attended. Pool is a namesake thing, placed with tree coconut trees, danger to kids who use the facility

Beautiful rooms and very scenic locations. The staff is very polite but very slow. The food is very very average for a place that advertises itself as a 4 star resort. Very frequent power cuts. No candles or torches provided.
