Giving 1 Start as there is not Zero Rating. Purely made as Commercial center to extract money as much as they can. From Autos to Shops all charging over priced. Its actually a picnic spot where if you have girl friend you can spend time without much disturbance from known persons. Lots of outstation persons throng this place and it really makes me wonder how these people fall into this. Many people were seen shouting "Om Namah Shivaya" as we all know this is just a statue created recently and not anything related to the true GOD. Evens Shops inside temples like rameshwaram are selling these Adhi Yogi Statues. All False propaganda's to extract as much money as they can in the name of GOD. The Good thing in this place is that at-least they have toilet facilities. Its quite far from main entrance with No proper shelters. Will be difficult if you visit during Rainy times or in hot summers. They extract money by offering you bullock carts to reach from Main Entrance to Adhi Yogi Statue. Only deluxe buses available from Gandhipuram charging 40/- rs. No ordinary buses plying as everyone knows they can extract more money by plying deluxe buses. Autos charging at a extreme rate. You can visit by your own private vehicles also. Lots of shops available on the way to Adhi Yogi Statue all belongs to Isha. Just to extract money, because if there is not shelter you will get thirsty in the hot SUN and will surely buy something to eat. If you are going by Bus be prepared for returning as bus timings mentioned in the board are not proper. Bus Fare = 40/- rs from Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand. For History lovers you can come here and learn how the Western Ghats were Destroyed in the name of GOD.

A long time wish fulfilled. The place is calm and surrounded by hills - making the experience out of this world. We took bullock cart to the statute, one can also take a battery operated car.

Isha Foundation is the very well built by Sadguru. We need keep our luggage and mobile phone in the luggage counter before entering the Isha Foundation. There is no filming or photography inside. You can take a bath inside for men and women has separate place to take bath. Surya kunda for men and Chandra kunda for women. There is a Naga Shrine infront of Surya Kunda. And also Dyanalinga and Linga Bairavi temple located inside . A big Nandi statue was there infront of Dyanalinga temple. There is a small pool located and you can see lotus flower and beautiful fishes in there. In Isha yoga center you can learn yoga and also gets tips & advantages of yoga. Adiyogi Shiva Statue was located near to Isha Foundation. It was the tallest Shiva Statue in India. The Shiva statue was surrounded by the mountains it gives a good view. You can get a Bullcart transport there. ( but please don't travel on that, because travel on animal in these days is not good ) One of the must visit place in India. Visit with your family.🙏🏻😊

Very very nice place. Cool and calm area. We have spent around 2 nights and 3days. Rooms were very well maintained. Cost vs quality is perfectly matching to each other. Seems everything designed very thoughtfully. Many foreigners were also there.

A nice place which is still under construction and such a peaceful location. A huge Adiyogi structure with half moon on his head mesmerizes. You have to go almost 8 to 10 KM inside from NH44 highway and road construction is going on. Lot of parking space available and they charge Rs 50 for car. You can find some eatery stalls near the center where we have to collect coupon of what we want in the counter and then you can purchase. Please note these counter doesn't accept digital payment and only cash is accepted.

I recently had the privilege of visiting the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, and I must say that it was an experience beyond words. From the moment I arrived, the serene ambiance and the subtle drizzle of rain created a perfect setting for a truly transformative journey. The first thing that caught my eye was the magnificent Adiyogi statue. Standing tall and majestic, it left me awestruck and filled with a sense of reverence. The intricate details and the sheer scale of the statue were truly remarkable, making it a captivating sight to behold. Eager to explore further, I proceeded to the Suryakund for men. The cold water was invigorating, and as I immersed myself, I felt a sense of purity and renewal washing over me. It was a refreshing and meditative experience, preparing my mind and body for what lay ahead. Next, I made my way to the Dhyanalinga meditation hall. The moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a profound sense of tranquility. The hall's soundproof design provided an oasis of calm amidst the outside world, allowing me to delve deeper into my meditation practice. For twenty blissful minutes, I immersed myself in the stillness and silence of the hall, letting go of all distractions and worries. The absence of mobiles and electronic devices created a sacred space where I could truly connect with myself. It felt as if a burden had been lifted, and I emerged from the meditation session with a renewed sense of clarity and inner peace. The Isha Foundation's commitment to maintaining a serene and sacred environment is truly commendable. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and ensured that every visitor had a fulfilling experience. In conclusion, my visit to the Isha Foundation was a truly transformative journey. The combination of the awe-inspiring Adiyogi statue, the purifying Suryakund, and the serene Dhyanalinga meditation hall provided an experience that was both enlightening and refreshing. If you are seeking a spiritual retreat or simply a moment of respite from the chaos of everyday life, I highly recommend visiting the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. It is a sanctuary for the soul, where you can find solace, rejuvenation, and a deeper connection with yourself.

I had wished to visit the statue of lord Shiva for a long time and finally it happened. Vehicle parking is organised very well. Hope this place does not become a picnic spot.

It’s little off from the city but that’s where you will get this kind of natural ambiance for such a lovely place. The drive is almost an hour or hour n half from central Coimbatore and you need to cut across the city traffic to reach here. Ample of parking space and very managed arrangements for everything.

I was so excited to see isha yoga. It was out of expectations and very miraculous. I arrived there around 6 ' o clock and the place was so crowded with locals and tourists waiting for the big lighting. It is so much peaceful to walk there in that time. I experienced the Great ambiance. Around 7 ' o clock all the lights were turned off and they have requested us to sit in the seating area infront of the isha yoga. And they have started the mathra's it felt so peaceful to sit there watching isha and hearing the mediation mathra's . At 7'20 the lighting started with the sound track saying the story of 'Adhi Yogi' . The laser lights were used and it was so fabulous experience to watch that every thing felt so real . And the crowd were so enthusiastic to see these all . I strongly believe that everyone should experience a evening like that..

Lovely place to visit in Coimbatore. It's an open field and an alternate for a beach in this city. There is no entrance fee and can be viewed closely.

When this place was originally started it was really a good place to visit to get some peaceful mind and admire nature. Recent days the place has become tourist place for all and completely commercialized. This place is no longer a typical yoga center. Its really hard to find a calm place inside the whole campus, including the main prayer hall. Unfortunately the management also not able to maintain the place at its original value because of the increased volume of the visitors.
