A neatly maintained beach under DTPC. But the traffic is high to enter this premise. Different water activities like boating, Jankar, floating bridge are the specialities of this beach. Can see huge crowd on weekends. A festival called beypore water fest is celebrated here for one week in the last of December. The programs available are diverse.

Not worth the hype. It's not clean and one can make out looking at the water. You can drive by to see the boats docked on the other side.

Beypore Beach is a tourist attraction in Kozhikode, Kerala. It's known for its floating bridge, stone pathway, and wooden ships. Some say it's a great beach for families.Beypore Beach is also known for its marine experience, with fishing boats and a stone pathway that extends 2 kilometers into the sea. Some say you might even spot dolphins.

It's now completely renovated...Renovation works are still going on... Very nice spot for a family outing... It can be crowded on weekends.. so if possible, visit on week days... There's now a couple of private boating services costing 100 per person and speed boat service costing 200 per person. Boating service is a must try. Persons in wheelchairs have to be lifted to the boats which the service providers gladly does. After boating one could take a leisurely or exercise walk till the Dolphin point where it's beautifully lit up with lights. Its a beautiful time to see the lights during evening. There's plenty of space to run and play about for kids. There's the floating bridge also which we would like to try next time when we visit. There's a milma restaurant nearby for veg food. Other than that there's a couple of small snack shops for quick bites or having ice cream. Overall a must visit destination while anyone is visiting Kozhikode.

It was good time spending there. We walked over the bridge in the morning sun was rising, some people came for walking, fishing, enjoyment etc.. It was good experience the place was calm even there was people. We got some fresh air good feeling we get a very good morning make us to start the day good. We saw crabs there. The view from the end of the bridge was awesome it was like we are in the middle of the sea, 360°sea. It was long way to reach there but was satisfying. Good experience. I will recommend to go there for morning walk.

Beach festival gives an amazing experience. You can explore food , water rides, kites and music band shows. Mass crowded area and best traffic control- police team. Season 3 has introduced first drone show in Kerala.

One of the finest beaches in Kerala. U can spend long hours here doing nothing. The views are breathtaking. One side is seaport and other side is coast. You'll see fishermen leaving and returning to and from ports. If you are lucky enough, you might get to see sharks sometimes. Great place to see sunsets. It falls under the air space for commercial flights. Youll see planes flying above it

Very nice beach, there are two places to go little inside the beach. The light pillars got old not maintained, but good sea sight. We can walk 1km approximately into the sea. Must visit place in Kerala. Fishing also allowed here. Parking ticket, no entry ticket less crowded at the time of visit in July.

Beautiful beach with adjacent breakwater. Experience a special vibe that brings us to the past of calicut City with trading, sea merchants etc. And not busy as calicut main beach.

It is a very good place for an evening walk or a morning jog...still it was pretty long...you can feel the sea to a great extent with the drops of saltwater spraying on you when the waves hit the rock....this is one of the best places in Kozhikode to enjoy a beautiful sunset and sit beside your loved ones...children will also find the pulimutt interesting....the street lanterns have all become rusted and only half of it remains which adds to the beauty of the place.... There are many sarbath shops offering you refreshments at a fine rate and also plenty of paid parking

One of the better beaches in calicut. Even though the beach itself isn't as long as some of the other ones, it is well kept and is as clean as it can get in our country. There's a bridge of sorts leading into the sea were u can take a nice evening walk, and if u are lucky u can spot dolphins especially at noon time. The place also can be a decent fishing spot if u are good with a Rod and reel as many folks come here just to do that.

Spending time at evening might be better here, the heat intensity is higher during noon time. There are construction works ongoing on this port. Nothing more to explore. You can go to the Floating bridge on the Sea. Transportation services like bus, auto are available as there is a small bus stand in Beypore and buses from Kozhikode Town are available.

To be honest, my opinion is based on a late evening visit when it was already quite dark. However, even in the dark I couldn't help noticing that the cleanliness standard is quite low. Plastic bottles, packets of chips etc were strewn around at several places. The highlight of the place is a 1KM long bridge built into the sea called "pulimuttu" on which you can enjoy a walk right till the end, surrounded by the sea on two sides, with the breeze in your face, or simply sit on the stone wall of the side which also serves as a bench. It would have been a fantastic experience, but for the fact that not one of the ornate streetlights fitted on both sides of the walkway was working. Resultantly the bridge was pitch dark and many people were using their mobile torches to guide them. As far as facilities are concerned, paid parking space is available and plenty of food / snack stalls are available.

Builders are being challenged by the demand from retirees and young buyers for small-home footprints, while still offering amenities and keeping per-foot costs under control. These designs provide solutions to that challenge A sampling of four single-family home designs still in the early stages of development

Beypore Beach in Kerala is an enchanting coastal destination that captivates visitors with its serene beauty, rich maritime heritage, and idyllic surroundings. My recent visit to this picturesque beach left an indelible impression, and I am delighted to share my experience with fellow travelers. As I set foot on Beypore Beach, the first thing that struck me was its tranquil ambiance. The soft sand, gently lapped by the azure waters of the Arabian Sea, created a soothing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The beach stretches far and wide, offering ample space for leisurely walks, picnics, or simply basking in the sun while enjoying the cool sea breeze. One of the unique aspects of Beypore Beach is its strong connection to the maritime industry. As I explored the coastline, I witnessed traditional fishing boats and dhows being built and repaired by skilled craftsmen. The sight of these artisans meticulously working with wood and ropes was a testament to the region's rich shipbuilding legacy. Watching the vessels being constructed and hearing the rhythmic sounds of their labor was an authentic and fascinating experience. Another highlight of Beypore Beach is the chance to embark on a memorable boat ride along the calm backwaters. The traditional wooden boats, known as "urus," offer a glimpse into the region's seafaring history. Cruising through the scenic waterways, surrounded by mangrove forests and verdant landscapes, was a serene and captivating journey. For those seeking a culinary adventure, Beypore Beach does not disappoint. The seafood delicacies available at the nearby eateries are a treat for the taste buds. From freshly caught fish to delectable prawns and traditional Malabari cuisine, there is a wide range of options to satisfy any seafood lover's cravings. Beypore Beach is also a haven for photography enthusiasts. The stunning sunsets painting the sky with vibrant hues, the silhouettes of fishing boats against the horizon, and the rhythmic movements of fishermen going about their daily tasks provide ample opportunities for capturing breathtaking moments. The beach's well-maintained amenities, including clean restrooms, seating areas, and food stalls, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors. Overall, Beypore Beach offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and coastal charm. Whether you are seeking tranquility, an insight into the maritime traditions of Kerala, or simply a place to unwind and connect with nature, this beach is a must-visit destination. Its scenic vistas, warm hospitality, and immersive experiences make it an ideal spot for a memorable day trip or a leisurely vacation. Note: This review is based on my personal experience and subjective opinions. Individual experiences may vary.

The sound of the waves lapping against the shore, the salty breeze in the air, and the scent of the ocean fill your senses as you gaze out at the sparkling water. Just a short walk away, the bustling port is a hub of activity, with ships coming and going, and people bustling about. Yet, the beach itself feels like a world away, a tranquil oasis where you can relax and recharge. It's a place where you can watch the sun rise and set over the horizon, leaving you with a sense of wonder and awe.

It's a nice location to spend evenings, watch sunset and have a great walk for almost 1 kilometre into ocean through the pavement. From the end of walkway sometimes you can see fish jumping out. However, There is no maintenance going on.. not even a single light lit up in the path after dawn. Looks like as if it is intentionally destroyed.

Amazing place! Far better to be here than Kozhikode beach as this one is sparsely populated as you can see from the photos, but then, vendors are fewer and parking space is limited as of now. There are other attractions, though, like a much easier walk on a pier and possibility of getting on a real boat.

Beypore, also known as Beypur, is an ancient port town and a locality town in Kerala's Kozhikode district. It is located just across from Chaliyam, the estuary where the Chaliyar River drains into the Arabian Sea. Kozhikode Municipal Corporation includes Beypore. Previously, the area was known as Vaypura / Vadaparappanad, as well as Beydary. The town was given the name "Sultan Pattanam" by Tippu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore. There is a beach and a marina, and Beypore port is one of Kerala's oldest ports, historically trading with the Middle East. Beypore is noted for building wooden ships, known as dhows or urus in the Malayalam language. These ships were usually bought by Arab merchants for trading and fishing but are now used as tourist

In comparison to the bustling and vibrant Calicut main beach, Beypore Beach may not hold the same level of allure. However, it still manages to serve as a pleasant and enjoyable hangout spot. As you explore the beach, you'll discover two interesting spots a bit further in. Although the light pillars have aged and aren't well-maintained, they offer a captivating view of the sea. An enticing feature of this beach is that you can walk approximately 1 kilometer into the sea, providing a unique experience. Beypore Beach is a must-visit destination in Kerala, offering the opportunity for fishing as well. The parking ticket system is in place, but there's no entry fee. Additionally, while there is a temporary closure of the water bridge facility during our visit, it is usually available, adding to the overall experience of the beach.

The place is under construction and the beach is not well maintained now. If we need to visit the lighthouse, then we need to book tickets for the jankar and get crossed to the opposite side. And it is very sunny after 9 am. So it is better to avoid visiting during morning hours. The beach is also not so clean and there are many workers available there due to some construction work is ongoing. Nothing too see much compared to other places in Kozhikkode. Even Kaappad and Kozhikode beach were better maintained and clean compared to this beach.

The sunset at Beypore Beach was an awe-inspiring marvel that left me utterly captivated and mesmerized. As the day drew to a close, the sky painted a breathtaking tapestry of colors, transforming from vivid shades of orange and pink. The sun's descent was a slow and graceful dance, as if bidding a fond farewell to the world, casting a golden glow upon the tranquil waters of the Arabian Sea. As the sun dipped below the horizon, it created a spectacular silhouette of boats bobbing in the distance, accentuating the beauty of Beypore's coastal charm. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and serenity as I stood on the shore, witnessing nature's grand finale for the day. The sunset at Beypore Beach was not just a picturesque event; it was a soul-stirring experience.

Definite visit for beach lovers. This place is located in Beypore. There are 2 long paths built into the sea through which we can walk and go much further into the sea than usual. The sunset view is brilliant. The beach itself isnt that great, too dirty with lots of plastic. Parking is available. The usual eateries that we typical get in kerala beaches are available here. There is a cruise option which will take you to the middle of the sea in a small cruise like boat.
