Loved it! Kids enjoyed totally. Rides were awesome. Some water rides due to flow folks were seen stuck in the middle. Otherwise good overall. Not sure how water quality is maintained. Including me, my kids, relatives all suffered with skin issues for a week after the visit. I know it's not easy job with crowd bursting in every minute. We had a wonderful visit and everyone liked the time we spent which is more important.

We can Have a full Enjoyment in this place.. so many water games and dry games are available . Many food courts available in the park. Entry fees ₹900 for adults and ₹790 for kids. And for college and school students concessions are available for bulk members.. Timings 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.. Water pool wave is awesome and Lucky fall is very good. Black thunder water theme park is a great place for entertainment if you are planning to spend time with your family and friends.. lots of dry rides and water spot.. water was clean in the wave pool.. and also the walls of water rides were damaged and looks scary of you might get hurt..beven the ladies and kids pool was slippery.. Lucky falls and other dry rides are great.. 5d cinema.. haunted scary house are good.. food is not costly and are decent enough at affordable price.. they have photographer service..

A really good place to visit with friends and family. They have almost every kind of adventure rides. Also good safety measures and seperate area for women and children pools etc. Your kids will enjoy the time. Food court is also available inside with some variety of chicken items. Parking is available. Mentioning that the staffs are good behaving. I had some good memories with my friends.

I have been going from time to time since the year this theme park started. They still maintain it today as they did then. There are many new attractions added down the years. There are plenty of water rides and also a lot of games besides water rides. One day will not be enough to enjoy everything. The artificial waterfall is the highlight. Foods are available at somewhat reasonable prices and the quality of food is OK. This is definitely a place where everyone can go and spend a day enjoying themselves.

We really had fun. Family and friends will have a lot of fun. Really appreciate the food options for lunch inside. Lunch was affordable and good. You need to buy locker separately for men and women. Amazing place to go with friends & family! It's designed so well to cover all sorts of ppl. Got a lot of thrilling water rides(atleast 20+), Aquarium, birds watching, Some innovative rides, some for the kids, but a few dry games. Don't miss the bungee ejection ride😉! Rain Forest was perfect for pictures. For corporate outing we can book food at Black thunder resorts nearby. All in all its a different vibe compared to other amusement parks.

There are more water games must go for all water rides and dry rides are very less not much thrill . There are more new water rides and dry rides but for ₹900 its worth for family and children but for children they are making some scam like providing them a adult ticket and not allowing for some rides . The whole day was pretty good and enjoyed a lot in water ride games.. It's good to go one day outings with friends. If you are planning to go then please go with four person because some water ride games are allowing with only four person or else you can not enjoy those. Also do not bring the mobile inside as can not enjoy water games. If You are willing to take mobile then buy it the waterproof cover it's available inside itself

2 stars just to respect my sweet childhood memories or it should be a low 1. This theme park is a sweet reminder of my childhood memories back in the 2000s , the 'oyayaya yooo' theme, the school trips, went there again yesterday with my three year old son, but was so disappointed to see the sad state of affairs and seriously wish the management or who ever is leading the park takes this review and feedback seriously, This is not worthy of being called Asia's number one theme park! I feel the vision of the founder is being done injustice along lack of professional exposure, experience of the Indian visitors is taking mediocre and unprofessional park as a 'asia's best theme park , I am seriously using this review to enable skeptical and critical thinking feedback. 1. The parking and ticketing experience was totally unprofessional right from old boards to amateur signage to staff with shoddy uniform and grumpy face. The landscape is a joke and really wish could be done way better. 2. The ticketing , infact the design of the ticket was very amateur, poor printing paper and the ticket buying experience was bad 3. The price of ticket was too less, I feel price could be increased by 30 -50 percentage and still be affordable to the crowd , which could be further used to make the park cleaner, safer and staff to be smile more. Kudos to the wonderful lady staff in the Virtual Animal shooting section. She made my kid smile and enjoy his virtual shooting experience. 4. The infrastructure was very old, dilapidated, unsafe and unprofessional. Cleaning was non existent,the landscaping and paint was like 'old and unmaintained', security was totally non existent, though might women feel safe, I am not sure the environment guarantees that. Found some 'romeos' but overall environment needs a secure feeling. 5. We visited over the weekend and there was a huge crowd, I saw that there was a very unprofessional way of handling it. Infact no one handled it. Garbage all over , no hand sanitizers or no proper handwash areas nothing, COVID could spread like a wildfire there. 6. The lunch experience was worst, no proper cleaning of utensils or covering of food or eating area, they cooked food in open areas, in unclean environment. Not sure if there is an FSSAI license. 7. There was not drinking water points , there were a lot of flies and insects around. 8. The pool was very dirty and no life guard seen around. All areas were a safety nightmare risk of falling and slipping. 9. The rides, were unprofessional why do you have to climb three rows of stairs to slide down, when you could have escalators, lifts and winch to haul balloons. Don't call yourself Asia's number one theme park, if you don't have it! 10. The dressing rooms and lockers are a nightmare of unhealthy unhygienic unsecure cleanliness. Seriously need improvement! Very very seriously! No privacy screen no hangers!!! 11. Yes, management might start blaming visitors for keeping the park unclean and business if prices are increased, but that is not a good argument, you can plan well for cleanliness, design for cleaning,hire more cleaners, we rarely saw two in the whole park. Overall, please make the park better, my solid childhood memories with my late dad is there. Increase the price, hire better park designers, have experience design team, professionals not some 'second or lower grade' ones. I am positive that price increase of of 50-100 percentage is not a big deal and could be a bustling hotspot for 80s and 90s kids here. This is like India, some great visionaries lay foundation and build infrastructure the best and let it ruin by bad management, unprofessional management and total lack of maintenance. I suggest run a 'black thunder back to 90s fund' to make the park better and I shall be the first contributor and positive that many will follow suit. Please use the money to make park better and use indian diaspora abroad with black thunder memories to make the park world class and even better. It can be a museum of 90s kid memories but lying in waste!

Good place to spend one whole day! Waiting was nearly 30 mins for every games/rides during weekends... To talk about food you would get only maggi juice breads and coffee after rushyy single billing counter Overall crowd management Food and cleanliness can be improved

The Dry rides were very few compared to the water rides. In another ride, they claim the clothes are wet so not allowed. Locker fees are nominal but not efficient in size. Pics with Cocktail birds are splendid and the fee is 50rs only. Food rates are also very high.

Great place. loved the water sports here. Must visit if you're near by atleast once in a life to enjoy with your loved ones or friends. Totally a great experience and properly maintained by the management. Car and bike parking are available without any issues. Tickets are good and food available here is tasty as well.

Excellent experience at Black thunder theme park and felt worth the money. The park has extensive wet games, water slides and water play areas; which are hallmark of this theme park. Comparatively, this park has the best water games among all theme parks in TN. Having said this, the timing for water games were restricted without any notice. We were allowed to water games only after 11.30AM which was disappointing. The water quality and maintenance were decent. However, few rides were noticed to be broken and dangerous. Black thunder is not known for it's dry rides. Only "Thunder spin" is decently good. All other dry rides were very average games. The customer service and staff behaviour were mixed. Few staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. While, few were rude. However every ride was attended by a staff and they gave precautions and safety measures before ride. Particularly, in "Canon ball slide" and "Shot gun slide" only swimmers were allowed. The staffs were very cautious on not allowing non-swimmers. We were persuaded by staffs to go to wave pool or artificial falls at their particular timing. Which we dint liked. We dint want to go for those. But they insisted and stopped few rides at that time. Food and other Snacks were decent and manageable. We enjoyed Havmor ice cream in a mini-parlour inside. The coffee/Tea were very bad and watery. Biryani at minnal restaurant was pretty good and stomach filling. //Verdict: Worth the money. Try to enjoy more water games, as they are their hallmark. Don't expect much from dry games.//

My first theme park experience it was very nice place for enjoyment

Can spend a day with family. 1. Dry games are so low in number. 2. Most of the dry games are for children. 3. Blood pumping dry games are paid. 4. Poor safety standards ( No line attached for adventure activities and no safety jacket for boating ) 5. Water reeks of chlorine. 6. Some of the employees are bit harsh. During weekends, there are long queue in every rides. Prefer weekdays. Overall: Could be better

Children’s always love this place and when you enter pls choose DRY ride first ( don’t choose all choose only mostly what you like ) after that go to water games … if you want good food then go to Black Thunder Resort which vert close ( they allowed ) overall for one day trip this place was ok … when you return you will face traffic jam so when you came outside take big break like go to any restaurant or come earlier asap

Best place for Kids. Water is not as much clean.. they need to maximize the Restroom facility. Inside foods are little bit expensive while camparing to the quantity of it. They sholud update the Games. Should improve Maintanance... Best place for kids... Luck Falls is awesome...

Excellent location. My favorite water sport in the area was kayaking. Visiting with your family or friends is a must if you're near the area at least once in your life. The management has maintained the facility properly the entire time. Pedestrians and cars can park without a problem. You can get good tickets here as well as tasty food.

My favourite theme park and the best ever I visited. Even though I'm in Chennai I didn't like the theme parks of Chennai but I loved black thunder there is no limits in riding we can go multiple times in each and every ride. It is best known for water rides. Foods also good. I enjoyed a lot

One of the best theme parks in southern part of India.Most of the water games will be allowed only for those who're more than 5feets. Because all big rides. School/college students can avail a discount if you go with your id cards. Worth enjoying a day in black thunder.
