I along with my dad went to Malabar to pick a chain on Akshaya Tritiya. As expected it was crowded. So we waited for some time and we were informed that a staff will attend us. We kept waiting however no one turned up. Staffs started attending customers who came after us. That was really disappointing. I generally used to purchase any jewel from Malabar. Henceforth I will not visit this showroom because of the poor customer service.

Best hospitality. Never hesitate to showcase their items many times even beyond lunch hour tirelessly. Jewels are good and nominal rates of wastage and making charges.

First thing not every sales person is the same in any shop....lesson learnt Today we went there to purchase a chain at Malabar for the very first time and were greeted and was seated where a sales person was showing us the chains but after showing a few we felt that the sales person was not interested at all to show us anything he was lethargic and simply answered like its not there and thats not there and at one point i felt like these people don't have much collections as expected compared to other famous jewellers around. Then seeing us upset he ll bring something with more weight and say it's only only available in weight higher than what you expect. Then i felt it's my fault to step in here and was leaving and once were about to leave out there came that initially greeted girl and guy(guess he's manager) asked us y we were leaving and i told him like there was nothing as per my expectations. He immediately apologized and ask us to come back and assigned us another sales person SUBRAMANI. He was super courteous and understanding and was so polite to show us anything and everything we asked him without any hesitation and was able to clear us all doubts super clearly. From that moment on the feel of Malabar went from worthless to worthy. I asked them to reduce the cost by haggling the prices like we do in our other purchases even when we knew that the prices they mentioned on the tag are already way less compared to all the other shops we purchased earlier. But Mr.SUBRAMANI was able to clearly state us the max possibilities and gave stuff on the very best price. It's mainly coz of his way of handling we even purchased another one jewel when we actually came for just one. Finally i truly recommend Malabar gold and diamonds for all jewellery purchases as they do take care of their customers just that if you feel not happier to purchase its just the fault of that particular sales person and not the management but definitely i would recommend people to visit Malabar before you purchase from your regular stores and definitely they do have best sales persons like SUBRAMANI to make you feel worthy of switching from your regular shop. Kudos to the manager and SUBRAMANI.... we'll surely come back again for our future jewellery purchases.

Such wonderful customer service. We were guided by the staff name called Salena and she is so patient and ready to show each and every design with a smile on her face. Even the gold smith and quality checks also did everything quickly. Reception member Sulfikar is very well mannered.

The reception was very poor, and no staff was bothered to attend. There are no smiling faces, and we need to call the sales personnel to attend. Even the sales personnel were reluctant to show more models. I felt very bad for visiting such a fascinating show room. Only because of publicity and canvassing is the shop somewhat crowded, since I need to close the chit and get my money worth gold. The records are not been properly maintained on online payments, and some irritating moments happened because of this. For the size of the organization, the presentation is very pathetic.

Collections are too good. Nowdays they follow a method of fixed pricing so it helps people from getting cheated when compared to other sellers who increase their price initially and we bargain to reduce the price. The bargaining takes place only when we find there is more making and handling charges involved or there is a quality issue. But Malabar has really priced their daily gold rate 50 to 60 rupees than other shops and a decent making charges. If you purchase more they give a small discount ..

Quiet Big place not much crowd. Good parking facility. Gave some advance for a jewel for which they have to come back with their design solutions Let me wait and see their service level. Already two weeks gone no reply. They promptly delivered the jewel. It was beautiful. Delivered as per the image what we gave to them.

Very disappointed with their service on my engagement ring. I had told them to make a very simple band-style ring with my finance’s name engraved in it. But when I received the ring, it looked like the ring was used by someone else as in the ring had so many scratches and marks on it. It didn't look like it was made new. I had no other option but to take it. I'm very disappointed with Malabar jewellery's service. And in the future, I will never recommend this shop to anyone also. Not in Coimbatore for sure.

Very very bad service… been buying so many times from this shop. But a earring bought for my daughter got disconnected on the first day she wore it even without any playing or anything of that sort… When selling they tell service guaranteed life time. When I went to service that a very small piece was missing and that was the one which broke which was just 50 mg… and they charged me for it for along with making charges… gst extra when asked they said only service is free n u need to pay for that missing part even if it is one day old… Very bad experience…

I made a substantial purchase from Malabar Gold a year ago, which included gold along with a stone worth around 4 lakhs. At the time of purchase, I was assured a hassle-free buy-back policy specifically for the stone. Unfortunately, when I attempted to sell the stone back to them recently, I encountered a disappointing roadblock. Despite their initial promises, Malabar Gold refused to honor their commitment and allow the sale of the stone alone. This rigid stance contradicted their earlier assurances and left me with a sense of frustration and dissatisfaction. Moreover, the overall service I received during this process was subpar. The lack of flexibility and the inability to follow through on their promises demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and customer-centric approach. My experience dealing with Malabar Gold's buy-back policy has been incredibly disappointing. As a customer who trusted their commitment, I feel let down and compelled to caution others about the discrepancies between their promises and actual practices. Had a bad experience just now. Called them twice to confirm if they will buy Gold coins from other Jewellers and how much would be the charges. They confirmed they will take it and said 2% charges will be applicable, after visiting their branch, their manager came and said they don't take it. Don't trust what they say. If you are buying something and sell/exchange it later to them, get the agreement in written.

I visited this shop on 06th Nov to purchase some jewelry. The customer service is not good. We asked the sales executive for the coffee. But we didnt receive the coffee till we finish our purchase and left the shop. Its very bad customer service. Try to focus on the customer service. I am not sure why they are treating like this. Do you guys think I came to your shop for a OC cup of coffee? Its very bad

There are two noteworthy observations that makes Malabar way above its competitors. Firstly, the manager is calm, cool and collected and ensures his customers are truly satisfied. Secondly, as a ‘foreign abroad', I really appreciate the female greeters who look you straight in the eyes and make you feel as if they are your equal! The total absence of obsequiousness builds trust in a brand and shows that they can deliver what you want. Though there were some communication problems with some staff…all's well that ends well.

The sales person is good and shown many collections and price also normal. But the cashier took more time. Also I didn't get any information about icici credit card offer and noticed this when another customer enquired this offer in the cash counter.

No doubt about quality of gold , after the completion of scheme by this month due to delay their updation from corporate could not able to purchase where I wanted to purchase on particular day NOT Happy for not meeting customer wish and went home with empty hands even after eleven months payment. The showroom is under renovation now, you have to go through dust filled ground floor to 1st floor. The only floor which is functioning now is 1st floor which is also too crowded because all of them are jam packed inside this floor. We were forced to complete entire selection to purchase in less time so other customers can be accommodated. Please visit this showroom only after renovation or go to any other Malabar showroom for peaceful experience.

I was a regular customer to Malabar. I don’t think I will continue anymore.a sales staff Mr. Arshad was very unwelcoming and not customer centric. I understand that you can’t reduce price any further. But there is a way to put it. I felt that was compromised. And I guess he has a a manager sitting at the billing table near the computer. And that person was even more rude. Never felt like purchasing there. Malabar used to be a customer centric place. I don’t think I will ever visit that shop anymore. Such rude and downright attitude from sales team is weird and not ok.
