TL;DR If you are trying to get vaccinated here, 1. Make sure to be there early even before the schedule, maybe things would be quick early in the morning. 2. If you couldn't reach early, better reschedule to some other hospital. Went here for getting my mom vaccinated today via online registration. To sum up the experience in one phrase, awful management. Her schedule was between 12 and 2 30 and we reached the hospital around 12 30. Surprisingly, the hospital mandated a photocopy of aadhar and 1st dose certificate (if we are for 2nd dose). I previously got my first shot at a different hospital and I only showed my original aadhar to the managing personnel. I Had to walk around 2km for getting the photocopy as there are no shops nearby. The queue was hardly moving and the time crossed 2pm. An application form was given to fill the details when we reach the counter. Then there's another queue for payment and people are called out by name from application forms. The applications were shuffled during collection making the people who were standing in line for hours wait even longer whereas the people who just came to the premise were called early. With luck, we paid the fee (900 :- 750 for vaccine and 150 as service charge) and was asked to go upstairs where a bunch of people are stranded and confused. After enquiring a person, I learnt that the crowd is actually 2 queues, one was for checking bp and other was for visiting doctor. After the bp check we are supposed to give our application form to an attender for review by doctor and it was like a bidding for lottery. Everyone rushed to hand their application form to him whenever he steps out. Later, the doctor called in for review and surprise again, another queue, he was asking the normal questions and also sent few other people with irregular bp for recheck. After consultation, my mom was taken to vaccination booth by a staff and finally got the 2nd dose and the time was around 4pm. We also got our bill at the bill counter and left the hospital. Things that the hospital needs to address: The hospital clearly lacked staffs and has no proper administration. They could've saved some time by issuing the application form early to the people in the queue. There were separate queues for online and offline registrations, if the queue was managed properly, we'd have fled from the hospital earlier. There was no alternate staffs during their lunch hours, we were simply standing in the queue when they were having lunch. The hospital lacked doctors and resources to accommodate the crowd for vaccination. The hospital had only one doctor for reviewing the whole crowd, feeling sorry for him.

I have done piles laser surgery through pristyn care in Richmond hospital Coimbatore. Previously Pristyn care executive informed me cost around 40k to 50k but post surgery Richmond hospital gave bill of Rs. 1.30 Lakhs for 24 hrs which was never acceptable. For cashless insurance they charged bill of our sum assured amount completely. Both Richmond hospital and pristyn care cheated us. Pls don't go and suggest this hospital for surgeries through cashless insurance. Very worst and broken my trust.

Coimbatore's biggest cheating hospital..never visit this graveyard in any situation..they will cheat u in each n every aspects..no basic amenities available like canteen , pharmacy with medicine..if they come to you u r going to claim through insurance bill will get doubled..treatment also very poor..

On 8th August I had an accident in which I got a major fracture in my left hand.so I came to Richmond hospital were I had to undergo a surgery for the injury. Please avoid going to this Hospital. They are money eaters. You can find all good reviews in google because of the 100% Discount policy if we review the hospital in google reviews well and appreciate the hospital. I had visited the hospital for suture bleeding and first they had collected 50 Rs for registration. Second consultation of Doctor, where the Doctor attended me asked me to come next day morning to meet chief doctor. No prescription or no medicine prescribed, just asked the nurse to do dressing. Where the dressing also was cleaning and applying an ointment in my small wound.(Not even an inch). Finally came out and shocked for the hospital fees Structure. 1. Registration fees - 50 Rs 2. Consultation Charge - 300 Rs 3. Dressing Charge - 300 Rs 4. Ointment used charge - 65 Rs. No proper counselling given by the doctor. Nurses are okay in treating the wound, even nurses requested doctor to see the wound but doctor said that the patient will come next day morning to meet chief Doctor. What a wonderful attitude. My personal suggestion to you all to avoid going to this hospital, i had simply wasted my money within few minutes for nothing. For that i would have visited some small clinic, whereas they would have charged 150 or 200 rs max with atleast good comfort and counselling. I enquired about Google review policy for saving 300 Rs atleast for that consultation fees but they said first you need to write atleast 5 lines good about the Hospital and treatment and then their team will check the review and after their satisfaction they will waive off the consultation charge itseems.. what a wonderful idea of the management to get good name about the hospital. Please try not cheating the people and hard earned money. Luckily i was not taken to this hospital when i got injured, think how much could they have charged me. They Rock at Richmond Hospital!! Dr Ranjith has been taking care of my mother's Ortho needs for the past year and half and we are extremely pleased with the level of care and expertise provided. He is a good listener who takes time to understand the nature of the problem.
