Vedanayagam hospital in Coimbatore is a dedicated urological hospital. Dr Ganesh operated on my father who had come with a bladder tumor. The whole experience was extremely good. Dr Ganesh and team are extremely professional, polite and always take time to answer all our questions The nursing staff are dedicated and polite as well. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff come twice a day to clean the room. Even the billing process is efficient and hassle free

Pros: 1. Care by the doctors and nurses were good and they were easily approachable. Cons: 1. No pre-room-booking was allowed. Also, had to wait in reception for hours to get a room, without a proper reply. With sugery planned for next day, being in a state of whether we'll get a room and whether the surgery will be performed, is pathetic. 2. Hospital is not covered under Tamilnadu State Government Insurance. Hospital was not approved yet. 3. Cockroaches were there in 1st floor water doctor and in patient room's bathroom. At least not in stay area of patient room, thank God. 4. Canteen opens at 8 AM only and closes at 9 PM. 5. No billing preparation on Sunday. 6. Stinky smell near the pharmacy, kind of septic tank leakage. Had to wait 5 meters away from pharmacy being second in queue.

Very good treatment. Very reasonable in cost of treatment. Doctors and nurses did a great job. Well maintained as well. I wish more hospitals will follow your philosophy of treating patients. Thank you.

My father got treatment for block in the urinal track under the supervision of dr sridhar and his team. The staffs ensured prompt treatment for all especially for aged patients. During the first consultation itself, I was made to understand about the surgery and further treatments. Inside the OT , I was given utmost care and attention so that I did not feel any stress. Within the stipulated time, the surgery was done successfully and I was given assurance that there's no problem. Entry point and GF reception area has to be renovated. OP section at 2nd floor is neat and clean. There is a systematic approach from the starting point till consultation. Doctors are experienced. No unwanted medicines are prescribed. Doctors spent good time with patients. Approach of doctors are excellent. No unwanted recommendations.

Very kind staff and experienced doctors. Well organized. The caution deposit of rs.5000 is returned only after insurance claim is received, not at time of discharge. The approval from insurer ensures payment is secured to the hospital. So deposit can be returned at discharge itself. Also additional charges stating covid related expenses is charged and not covered in insurance, in my case 6k charged. This is not acceptable

Treatment given to my husband aged 82, is really satisfied. Severe urinary problem is completely cured here by the DOCTORS. Careful,kindness and reasonable charges are all APPRECIABLE. THANKS to ALL the DOCTORS and STAFF.

This is the first time I have visited Vedhanayakam Hospital. I was very much surprised to see the reception, Doctors are excellent and sister’s are doing excellent job. My experience with other hospitals are not so appreciative. But this hospital experience is better than the hospitals I have visited in USA. I have pain in back side left kidney place from 15months...last when pain raised decided to check any issue in kidney. I feared hospitals will take so much amount and also have doubts on reports. After detailed study of hospital... I have only there options 1.kovai kidney 2.kongunadu kidney 3.vedanayagam hospital. Desided to go Vedanayagam hospital .. Because I heard lot about the hospital. Few negative reviews also seen. But I have full confidence on the hospital...and atlast with brave and confidently went their for testing for my issue. On entrance itself proper response and guidence and again at reception same. Consulted with the great doctor. Am saying he is great because he have a interview with me about my issue and he decided my issue is muscle probably. But he continued and asked me let check with scan, blood test and urine test for any issue. All the test and Reports completed within 1.30hours total time. I have to thank one small nurse who is taken blood sample...promise nothing pain I have feel. She is great that small young nurse. And met again doctor kandasami s v. MS., M.ch. what a doctor he is ...very humble and very experience......when I met him first sight...25% of pain gone. Finally reports All are NORMAL (V GENIUNE HOSPITAL) (REAL REPORTS) AND the pain is muscle pain as doctor already predicted. What a doctor he is and good hospital. All staffs are humble and guiding good and very humble. The review is from my heart. Thanks to the doctors and staffs. Thanks hospital. Am now free from my fear from kidney issue. No medicine is given. Advised. I have to do excercise and drive slow (bike) I strongly recommend this vedanayam hospital. ALWAYS TRUSTED MY FATHER HAD HIS KIDNEY STONE REMOVED IN 2004 Now i have got my stone removed by DR. VISWAROOP Doctors here are great and very friendly My stone was removed through RIRS I just went inside OT and slept and when i woke up i was out of the OT and didn’t even feel anything Thank you doctor. Rooms can be equipped with some facilities like hand wash Maybe towels Cotton bed sheets and blanket if possible. Doctors are top class🫡

Excellent service rendered by Vedanayagam Hospital I got treatment for my prostate problem during the last week of July 2021. The personnel who man the Hospital extended excellent service right from my admission into the Hospital till my discharge. After surgery I faced some issues in my urinary tract and the surgeons and other supporting staff were always on their toes to look after me whether it be day or night.I suffered blood clot in my bladder and the Surgeon who performed the surgery and the Ward Doctor were quick to attend to the issues within a minute or two whether it was day or night. They have a practice of attending on the patients as a teem which makes every patient to remain calm and confident irrespective of their ailment. I must also place on record my profound appreciation of the extreme care and concern the Ward Nurses took on me. They were all angels and professionals In their line of activity. Even though I felt severe pain during the first few days due to the blood clot I was able to bear it with the extreme care the Doctors and the Nurses showered on me. I cannot forget the Surgeon who performed the surgery and the Ward Doctor along with the Nurses who were there all night to take care of me. The Doctors there are professionals and experts in their field of activity. The only constraint there is congestion and paucity of space which cannot be extended anymore. Normally we do not have much interaction with the Administrative Staff members. Here also I put on record my deep appreciation of them for their excellent co-operation and service in providing me with the flawless and meticulous medical documents to support my medical insurance claim which culminated in my receiving the almost full reimbursement amount within the shortest possible time. I thank all the Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Administrative Office Staff, Receptionists, Security and Sanitary Staff who made my stay at the Hospital a memorable one. Let God bless them all.

I had been in this hospital with my father. They're very courteous. Dr.S.V. Kandasami was extremely patient and explained the process of treatment very clearly and in simple language. Haven't seen a doctor of such seniority spending good amount of time diagnosing and talking to patients Staff were equally courteous.

Hospitality was well good and overall good care taking. Patience of the nurse care is really good & nurse were around nearby at all times especially at night duty also. Doctors are very clear about the problem and good experience. There is issue in using Medical insurance without giving proper information they send to insurance without full billing amount, and also they not provided the breakups for the total amount, I have spend around 50k in hospital with out prior intimation they send 36k only for the insurance.
