It was very pleasant. No crowd. Very private and isolated beach. But I wouldn't say it's clean. Otherwise it's a good isolated beach to visit.

Comparatively calm beach with various water sports availability. A few kilometers' drive from Cherai beach, Eranakulam district, Kerala.

A good destination for sunset views. For those who are planning for Cherai beach, it is a good alternative. With lesser crowd and traffic. The beach is equiped with a walk way and a small park. Beach area is also adequate for the crowd. Fishing is possible for the enthusiasts. Water sports are also there for some added fun. A drawback is, there is'nt much parking space available. So if you are going on a holiday evening, it might get difficult to find a parking for the car.

Its located at the end of Eranakulam and districts of Kerala. It's has sea on one side and estuary of Periyar river close to it. If lucky you can see the dolphins at the back waters.

Good beach to hangout with family and friends

The sunset we had from here is one of the best. We can enjoy sea and the wind by sitting in the stones placed. It is not possible to enter water after 7pm as it has only small amount of shore and the other places are deep so that the chances of accident are high.

It gets crowded in the evening, otherwise it's a nice place to visit, eat out and wander around. The beach is clean.

Very nice beach although not big as azhikode beach. Eatables are available. We ate fish cutlet and kakka irachi.

Small beach. Reached late. Could see tht they provided water sports activities. But could not enjoy any as everything was closed. But u have a good green space where u can spend some time. The beach needs some cleaning as the algae was washed up throughout the shore. A small cafeteria witha good Seaview was also there. Shud plan to visit the place before 5pm.

A well maintained beach with an excellent walkway.. Sitting at the end of the walkway and feeling the breeze gives a great feeling. A proper place to be in current covid situation. Since there is enough space you don't feel any crowd. Kids can run and play with enough space.

I like this beach very much. They provide rides in bike and boat and you can carry out fishing too. U can see a lot of fishing nets and fishing boats and the ships on the long sight. It have a harbour like place on one side and the beach on the other side and there is a walk through in the middle of this. All together its quite a view.

Pay and park 5 rs, walk the stretch guess the water seems to be fine, how far can enter the water don't know, u will see lot of kids from the sports club playing there and a plenty of guys doing a funtine fishing with their sticks itz a nice place for a evening walk and a good spot.

It's very Fabulous and family entertained beach. Beach area is very hygeinic and had a positive energy. Childrens also entertain this beach like Boating, Kayaking, Rafting, Riding etc..... It's absolutely entrance fee is free and they are charged only for Vehicle parking. Go ahead with Family. It's not a Couple Friendly beach. Kappa and Kakka is Main Combination Food, sea food also available.

I visited Munambam beach which was recomended to me by one of my friend. Wow this is an excellent beach to spend an evening with your family and friends. Excellent atmosphere, though the hotels and food facilities nearby are average you will enjoy the place. An excellent place to relax if you are nearby. The place is not too crowded. You can enjoy a nice evening with your family here. We spend her around a couple of hours and kids in the group enjoyed playing in the water.

It could be a 5 Star Beach, but all the garbage around is not nice. It would be wonderful if it could be organized to pick it up daily. Then the beach could compete with beaches in Spain or Germany. On the other side a few shops could have open during the week in the evening. The scenery of the fish nets is nicer than at Fort Cochin. Especially when the fishing boats arrive at sunset this is wonderful.

Munambam beach is the best place to enjoy your weekends with your family. Parking is a big problem during weekends.

Now the old puthuvype beach is moved towards valappu beach side because of LPG bottling plant. Good beach directly at West of the valappu junction, the beach is called as new puthuvype beach as the other beach area near LNG got closed. There are lots of beach area, trees and boating at the natural water towards the entry to beach. There are good no of tea shops and hotels at the entry. You can reach other puthuvype beaches through the beach area. Very near to light house too!! Nice place to spend your evenings!! 👍👍👍

A great & beautiful manmade beach in north Kochi. The Munambam Pulimutti, the manmade barrier & walkway created the beach on its southern side. Arabian sea brought the sand from Cherai beach making a great beach at Munambam Pulimuttu. Sand was great, the view of the sea & the river with Chinese fishing nets looked marvelous. Sun set in the Arabian sea was the best view to watch.

Great beach with good view and a lot of activities like jet skies, rafts, speed boats and wind surfers. The views are beautiful in all directions and it's easily accessible with good roads connecting all major towns. Highly recommended. Though it is a bit far from kochi, the trip would be wort it. But make sure you reach there by afternoon or the heat and sun could be a bit unbearable.
