It's a great view point with vast view of Ooty. It is like we have reached clouds 😂,fully covered fog. Sholur people are good with behaviour and support. Now it is free to enter and there is no much tied with tourist.but, it will become croud when it gets popular. So , I recommend you to visit faster as soon as possible.

One of the best places in Ooty..nice area with very nice views ..not really established tourist spot..so there is not tea shop or urinals there..go during early morning or late evening to see the snow and to get the best view..vehicles can go till the view point..please try not to take plastic carry bag with you and try not to litter the place..

Breathtaking view from one of top Nilgiri hills. You can just sit on the top and look through the valley, it's so calming and out of the world. Don't just stop at the view station, instead walk few metres more and go to the edge to get a clean obstacle free view. Simply gorgeous. Our safari guide was very friendly and did an amazing job to show us around including this top point.

One of the must visit spot! It's little difficult to reach here from near Village, but till that village you will get best experience! It's good to spend time with friends but with family it's not recommended, bit difficult! Have to walk around 500mts to reach the spot, you will get 360° view from here, one of the most scenic and breath taking view from here! Best place for sunrise and sunset photography!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the stunning Sholur View Point, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Located in the mesmerizing Nilgiri Hills of southern India, this viewpoint offers an awe-inspiring panorama that will leave you breathless. First and foremost, the journey to Sholur View Point is an adventure in itself. As you wind your way up the lush green slopes, the anticipation builds, and the anticipation is well rewarded. The moment I arrived at the viewpoint, I was greeted by a sweeping vista of mist-covered valleys, rolling hills, and distant mountains. The sheer vastness and natural beauty of the surroundings left me in awe. The view from Sholur View Point is truly a photographer's paradise. The ever-changing play of light and shadow creates a magical ambiance that is simply unmatched. Whether you're capturing the sunrise painting the sky in vibrant hues or witnessing the ethereal mist dancing through the valley, every moment is a picture-perfect opportunity.

View point that almost give a 360° view around the area. No officials here, no entry fees and the place is not crowded as well because it is situated in a remote village where even the roads are not proper for a short stretch. Place most suited for gang with many people. You'll enjoy and spend some time hear. Locals here will ask lift since bus facility here is limited, they are friendly as far as I've seen. No dedicated parking space available, you can find your own spot or park wherever you find space without disturbing others.

This is a super scenic spot. It’s got a peaceful vibe with very less or no crowd. Nice place to sit and hangout with a bunch of friends. Has a short walk to reach the view point. Amazing 360 degree view. The sky gets really pretty during late evenings. You can take amazing photos while standing on the cliffs, but be careful while doing so.

The most amazing view I have ever seen in Ooty. So there is a catch, you need to track down like 600 m from the view point to see the actual view. The ride from Ooty to solo it's amazing one should go to this view point either early in the morning because it is a sunrise point or else you should go in the evening don't go during date and it's very hot. Go with your own water and food because nothing is available solo is just a village so very basic thing would be available and at this point there is nothing available at all.

Keep your expectations low regarding hygiene and other facilities, there is not even a tea shop nearby. The route from Ooty to sholur is great and u can enjoy the weather and fog if you visit during early monsoon season..

Nice place to visit. View will be good. Not crowded. Because family won't prefer this spot since it is little dangerous. Little difficult to handle kids. If you are going with friends, it will be a good experience. Route to sholur view point is scenic.

Excellent view of kallati road. A walk of 50m will lead you to the tip of the hill. The place does not have a fence so it is a bit risky but worth it.

Witness the breathe taking view of Kallatty Ghat and Mudhumalai wild life Sanctuary. If you are sunrise lover then don't miss the sun rise from this spot. If lucky you can get to see the beds of cloud covering over the foothills

Best place to trek with friends😇 No safety grills are provided, so not recommended to go with children. Route to reach this view point has many attractions like Pine forest, tea estates etc. Must visit place for groups of friends and it's an awesome hidden place on the way to Pykara dam.

A good place located 15km away from Ooty. Place which is a nature friendly and have a nice view point. Not much familar place so there is no such rushing of peoples. No Entry fees. But be careful while walking of slippery of rocks and grasses.

An out of the world experience, facing the valley below in awe. Not a place to go a family picnic but with fellow adventure enthusiasts. Roads are pretty tricky for a car, experienced drivers are needed here. A word of caution, don't travel in the road which connects to wild zest hotel, that is not a road for tourists and can get even ugly in rainy season.
