After
a
long,
long
time
went
to
this
hill
temple
during
September
2023.
In
childhood
days,
it
was
difficult
to
climb
the
steps,
and
legs
would
have
pain
for
a
few
days.
This
difficulty
is
still
there
since
the
hills
run
steep.
But
not
difficult
like
childhood
days.
Alternatively,
we
can
hike
with
fewer
steps
through
the
elephant
path,
which
runs
side
to
the
steps.
The
annoying
sound
from
base
to
the
top
is
the
constant
announcements
of
helpline
numbers.
By
winch
and
by
road
cars
also
we
can
reach
the
top.
Crowded,
though.
The
top
is
a
hexagon
shaped
place.
Free
darshan,
Rs.10
darshan,
and
Rs.100
darshan.
Timing
will
be
reduced
based
on
the
route
taken.
Better
organized.
Weekends,
Tuesdays,
and
festival
days,
the
hill
temple
is
visited
by
a
lot
of
people,
and
it's
better
to
reach
the
temple
early
to
avoid
crowds
and
heat.
In
the
end,
we
get
to
see
and
worship
beautiful
murugar.
We
will
be
pushed
quickly,
though.
Can
see
ayyars
arguing
inside
the
temple
for
their
share/care,
and
some
take
the
devotees
inside
the
temple
without
any
tickets.
Not
sure
how
their
conscience
works.
Daily
Annadhanam
is
provided,
and
again,
a
long
queue
will
be
there.
Toilets
are
there
in
the
backside.
The
descending
will
be
very
easy
and
will
be
quick.
On
the
way
and
down,
many
people
take
selfies
and
photos,
which
can
be
avoided.
An
entry
ticket
of
Rs.60
was
collected
by
Palani
Corporation
for
four
wheelers
visiting
the
hills.
Vehicles
can
be
parked
in
free
places
provided.
But
all
free
parking
will
be
a
little
distant
from
the
hills.
The
whole
town
depends
on
this
hills'
temple
visit
by
the
devotees.
More
care
should
be
taken
to
preserve
the
sacredness.
