Although this was my 3rd visit there. But this time it was horrible. I have stayed there pre pandemic and it was decent that time. But now it’s really HORRIBLE. I paid Rs 9000/- for the room and the room had mold on the walls and dampness smell which made my allergies shoot up. Plus the chairs are so dirty that you can’t even think of sitting on them and the 3rd bed provided was so bad. I felt like i have checked in to a 3rd grade lodge. And the room was dusty. I think i paid so much just to get sick. Really bad experience I am sure why google isn’t allowing to add pictures to this review here. Please scroll down the pictures to see the latest pictures before booking and it looks horrible now.

I stayed in this hotel two weeks back and that’s it, it would be the first and last. This is a very old property and the only advantage is this is a beach front hotel. Pro: 1. Located opposite the maple beach, just 2 min walk to the beach. Con: 1. Very poor customer service. We were promised to be provided a packed breakfast on our last day at 6:30am as we were on a rush, the restaurant didn't keep the promise, we ended up wasting time waiting and they don’t seem to feel sorry. We were not provided with sufficient toiletries. When we asked, it took ages for them to deliver it 2. They don’t have a mini bar in the room and when we ask for ice cubes, we were not informed they are chargeable. We were charged during our checkout. Ridiculous! 3. Very average food. Varieties of breakfast but tasted so average. The fish curry we ordered wasn’t fresh at all. The prawn ghee roast was nice 4. Cleanliness is completely out, we were given a pool facing room. The room was not maintained well and the bath tub was so dirty and horrible. Overall experience was bad, could not wait to leave this hotel….Definitely not a paradise for stay!

The location was fantastic and the food was amazing. This was the first time I visited Malpe for a vacation and the tour was not pilgrimage and we got time to visit other places of leisure. This resort is like at the epicenter of everything and we loved every bit of our stay. The only drawback I felt was, the bike rental facility could have been a little nearer because going to and fro so far in secluded areas felt a bit scary. Rest, we enjoyed everything.

We had corporate meeting here. Overall quality of service was not at all up to the mark. Food quality was good, cannot expect any local traditional food to taste. Due to COVID-19 and lock down, sanitation and clinliness was average. The footfall also very low, this might be impacted on the business. Expecting soon pick up of good service

Location of the hotel is the only positive here. We stayed in the cottages. The hot water was not available in the morning. A/c was not working. Maintenance guys were not responsive. Maintenance and hotel staff didn't care. The service at the restaurant attached to the cottages was horrible and slow. We were just sitting at table waiting for food and would get one dish once every half hour. The guy taking orders would disappear for a long time and nobody available to take orders. Overall this place needs a lot of improvements in terms of service. Only consolation is that this place is right across the beach and the beach is great.

I am giving it '2' because of its location which is the only plus point and also because they upgraded us for a day to another resort which was really good. Very ill-maintained property and rooms are damp. Service is very poor. You have to follow up multiple times to get something done. This actually spoils the vacation mood. Not at all worth the money spent. I would not recommend it to anybody.

Excellent view. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff is courteous and helpful. Being opposite to the beach it's got a beautiful view. The only thing that I did not like is about the area in general. You are safe from the smell inside the resort but as soon as you step out of the hotel, you get hit by the smell of the fish and other sea foods. This made me very uncomfortable. But overall a good experience. Best for a 2 day trip.

It was an amazing experience staying here. Exceeded expectations. Food is excellent. Room service is spontaneous. Courteous staff and ready to go the extra mile for customers. Special mention for Arjun at reception who is always eager to help you and do his best!

We have a great stay at this resort for 3 days. The property is but old and hence requires some maintenance here and there but service wise, we were really happy. It is right in front if the beach which makes it even more attractive for a vacation. Would recommend for a family with average expectations! Food was good but bit pricy.

Location is superb. It's right on the seashore. Rooms look old and aren't very neat. Complimentary breakfast is okay, but everything is too sweet as per the local tastes. Water sports at the beach are superb.

This hotel / resort is located in a very nice place. They need to improve a lot on the hospitality, quality of the food & maintenance. The rooms view is very beautiful but issue with hot water service. The prices I felt very pricey for the service I was offered. Accommodation offered was good for an online booking but felt different opinion on virtual images and live images of the rooms.

A beach resort with great potential to be the best , has some cottages with old stale interiors was the first choice they gave me and my girlfriends . But after our objections and the fear of bad reviews we got an upgrade to better looking rooms with a view of the Arabian Sea. The resort really needs a face lift for its cottages, food menu and services. As replied by the resort saying budgeted rooms doesn’t mean dirty laundry, dirty mattresses and pillows thrown outside these cottages for patrons to see them day in and day out . There were food trays all round the cottages left out by the staff . I do hope they clean up their premises for patrons looking for a reasonable priced rooms facing the ocean. All in all was a great experience at Malpe, St. Mary’s Island and Delta point .

Rooms are clean and maintained well. We took the Delux ocean view, except for ocean view, the rooms are not worth for the price charged. Premium is due to ocean view. The spa was not very well maintained. Facilities like games room was flooded and not maintained. Restaurant service and staff were very polite.

Dilapidated glory requiring renovation . This is another hotel which thrives on its past glory and location . I stayed in deluxe sea facing . They say it is 3 star 😀! Lows- 1. Old fashioned rooms small and congested . Requiring immediate renovation . 2. Old type furniture and bath room 3. Stinking corridors 4. Pathetic buffet breakfast I have ever seen . Only non veg served is a deep fried chicken nugget.No live counter . 5. Sea facing room had a public toilet view also 😁 6. Heavily overpriced in comparison to other hotels with respect to room condition and facilities . 7. Not even worthy of being a 2 star hotel . Highs 1. Nice and naive staff . 2. Nice pool .

Nice place and one of the best in Malpe and can’t get any better. The location is superb and dining with a view of the sea is a nice experience. Parking is plenty and service is good. There is a bar and have a good choice of liquor. COVID protocols are followed. Quality of food is good and portions are quite filling. Service too is good and staff are friendly and responsive. Almost full during weekends, and not so on the weekdays. Overall a great place to spend a few days with family and friends. Overall a good experience !

It is right in front of Malpe beach. Rooms are decent enough. The resort is old and renovation is required. If you are looking for private beach then it's not the one, as the Malpe beach is very crowded. Swimming pool is well maintained. The breakfast was also good. It's a decent option for the price.

Highly recommended. The rooms are very neat, facilities are amazing. We especially loved the behaviour of the staff at the hotel and at the restaurant. Definitely coming back!

pros - location is very good. Restaurant is good. Cons - Room maintenance is very bad. TV is not working and bathroom has water leakage. If you get sleep, you are lucky. Room has lot of dirty smell. Room lighting and ambience is very bad. Facilities are worst. Its not worth of money.

The best part of the property is its location. The beach is just opposite to the property so if you are staying here it's very convenient to go to the beach. However the property is quite old and the amenities aren't great. The rooms are quite small and most of the facilities need to be upgraded. Go for it only if you want to play around the beach often.

Staying was good but not value for money....room rent is on higher side. Service was good ... specially Mr. Shetty at front office was very active since the time of booking. Food is good and view is outstanding from sea view rooms. Room amenities need improvement as the room rent is on higher side. Overall good stay but not excellent.

Wonderful beach side resort. View from the beach side rooms is amazing. Hotel staff are extremely good. Hotel restaurant is ok with good food options. Room service is also excellent. Best thing about this Resort is the Beach in front of it. Little old styled with need for some improvements otherwise it’s worth every penny.

Loved the stay, great looking rooms and vicinity to the beach. Good service, very friendly staff. A few suggestions would be to provide guest with more hand towels and towels right away. Also a don't disturb sign would be helpful. Was taking a nap and room cleaning service unfortunately interrupted. Overall a great stay nonetheless.

Stayed at this hotel with family, a few days back. The location is great, the room i got was rather small for the price i paid (sea view room). Room Service is slow and you have to call them 2-3 times before they finally deliver anything. The restaurant is good and the food is fine. Ample parking is available. Beach is just across the road.

The only decent resort located bang opposite the Malpe Beach with premier beach facing rooms. Not the 5star variety but good enough for families to spend 2 nights. Rooms are spacious with the usual paraphernalia. Property requires refurbishment. Sumptuous local and continental breakfast served.

Awesome experience with respect to food, stay and management team. Kids friendly place. Amazing time spent with family in the resort. My kid enjoyed playing the play area available in the basement , also the swimming pool. The food was yummy!!!

We started here for 2 days. Sea beach facing rooms were such a bliss. But there 2 kind of rooms. With balcony (recommended) without balcony, just view. But the latter has an extra couch so if it's a family vacation, second is better. We took both type rooms Since heavy monsoon was there, we couldn't use other services like spa and swimming pool But it's worth staying there

The place is a bit old and the maintenance is not up to the mark of what you call excellent. The food for breakfast is good. Location is really nice but there are two things. Don't visit the place during may-september since you cannot enjoy the beach and the other is ask for a room with a balcony that faces the beach. If you keep these two things in mind, it's a pretty good location. Only drawback is that they can improve the infrastructure

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday stay at Paradise Isle Beach Resort! The experience was filled with delightful moments, from the top-notch service to the mouthwatering food. The resort staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing exceptional service with genuine warmth and attentiveness. They truly made us feel like VIP guests throughout our vacation. Speaking of the food, it was an absolute culinary delight! Each meal was a delightful journey of flavors, and we couldn't get enough of the delectable dishes prepared by the talented chefs. The variety and quality of the cuisine exceeded our expectations, leaving us with a delightful taste of paradise. Although there were some minor issues, such as water seepage affecting the ambiance in certain areas, the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance during our visit .Despite the minor hiccups, our experience at Paradise Isle Beach Resort was overwhelmingly positive Despite the swimming pool maintenance situation, we do understand that it caused some confusion and inconvenience during our holiday. The resort management sincerely apologized for the unexpected inconvenience caused by the unplanned maintenance work. However, we have to commend the staff for their swift response to the situation. They efficiently arranged for us to be temporarily accommodated at the nearby resort, Paradise Lagoon, which was approximately 8 kilometers away from Paradise Isle. Although it required a bit of traveling back and forth, the staff ensured that the transition was as smooth as possible and even provided transportation services for our convenience. While the last-minute shift did disrupt our initial plans, it gave us an opportunity to explore another beautiful location and experience a different part of the island. The staff at Paradise Lagoon were just as accommodating and friendly, making our time there enjoyable despite the unexpected change. The following day, we were delighted to return to Paradise Isle Beach Resort, where we were warmly welcomed back by the staff. They genuinely seemed eager to make up for the inconvenience and ensured that we had a truly pleasant remainder of our vacation. Paradise Isle Beach Resort is still a fantastic destination for a memorable holiday.

Visited the property for a day with family and were happy with the services. The resort is right at Malpe beach providing direct accessibility to it. Rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. It provides wide range of indoor games like badminton, chess, carrom, darts, billiards etc along with the swimming pool. View and Food provided at the in house restaurant is finger looking good. We tried various north Indian dishes with drinks and each and everything was delicious.

Nice Beach Resort located just on the Malpe beach. Location is nice as on one side of the road it's the resort and Beach on the other side. Although the property is a little old, rooms were clean and maintained. Service is good. A swimming pool is available in the property. They have an in-house beach view restaurant too. However options are limited and it's a little costly. Overall good and recommended.

Pros - - Great location right at the beach - Reasonable rate for the room - Staff is friendly and helpful - Great view from the beach facing rooms - Breakfast was alright. Cons - - On arrival we are informed that all beach activities are closed including trip to St Mary’s island. They could have informed us a day earlier out of courtesy so we could accordingly decide and plan our holiday. - The advertised Spa services were not available. Again, nobody bothered to inform this in advance until we were ready to go to use the spa and then we found out. They were asking us to travel 8km to another property of theirs if we want to use the spa. (They have only one person who went on leave). - very limited options on the food menu and it is unnecessarily very expensive. Taste is also just average. - Strange rules that you cannot bring in outside food and they fine guests 2k for bringing outside food. Such rules are also cunningly revealed a day before check in. After you have crossed the cancellation time.

The room was okay, and the facilities and services were satisfactory. Cleanliness was good. Staffs are warm & friendly. Food is good in restaurant (including complimentary breakfast). Excellent sea view from hotel, and safe place for peace of mind. In summary, it's name Paradise has got a meaning.

Nice place to stay for vacation. Staff is good. Reception Supreetha greeted us with great smile and warm welcome. Supreetha explained the package and details of availability of food and pool. Room cleaning everyday. Fridge, kettle and arrangements to prepare tea/coffee by self. Hot water was not coming due to some issue they have provided it separately on request. Only thing that can be improved is hangers for drying clothes. Since it is beach most of the time clothes will be drenched and you need some space to dry the clothes which is not there.

Loved this place and the charmimg staff. You enter real India, go for the sea view rooms with balcony...magical. A bit of faded grandeur but still wonderful.Treatments in the spa were fantastic.Left after 3 days feeling alive and rejuvenated. Special thanks to the very helpful Supritha. Hope to visit again soon and stay for longer.

The rooms for viewing the sea are those with west-facing balconies. The hotel's location is decent. You can enjoy food at a restaurant while admiring a beautiful view. Both the breakfast and lunch fare are delicious. The staff at the resort are helpful and nice.

Not good experience with Hotel, they have downgrade the my room with name of upgrades and they are considering the pool view room as premium room which is lower than standard room. please be careful if you are selecting this property. after sending the mail on this concern they are not interested to solve the problem. apart from this everything is good.

Recently I stayed for two nights. Excellent location and rooms are clean However I had very bad experience with desk and sales . I was misled in booking premium room even though standard were available.I had request for early check in but not honoured. Restaurant is good and staff is very nice.

Beautiful property located right on the malpe beach..one of the oldest upscale boutique resort. The view from here is amazing and the staying here gives access to all attractions around malpe. If you have a decent budget, this could be a comfortable stay for families and travelers

Excellent location. Sea view from rooms. Good and comfortable stay. Well maintained property. Food was great especially fish items. Great spread. Manager and staff took great care of our family.

The staff, housekeeping, Food & Beverage team and particularly Manager Samarth made sure stay was very comfortable. Very polite, courteous and helpful and going out of the way to delight the customer. We rented two adjacent deluxe cottages, a very large Octagonal shaped room with all the amenities. The waterfront (about less than 100 yards from our patio), clean rooms, a beautiful view. Highly recommend it.

Excellent place, great location, nice people, good food. We got best price option due to current situation. Very safe place to stay. The manager was very helpful and told that even in peak season the rate is around 4k. Don't miss it !

What I liked about the hotel is it's close proximity to the beach. It is right opposite to the beach. The hotel also has a swimming pool. At any given point you are never far away from fun. The food served by the restaurant although expensive for my taste, is tasty and feels hygenic. Areas to improve would be customer service. Either they are short staffed or the staff are lethargic. A request for any kind service needs to be repeated thrice at least before someone shows up and attends to you. But the good thing is that they serve you with a smile. Hot water in the bathrooms is another thing that needs to looked into. Families traveling with young kids or elderly can find it really difficult to manage with the luke warm water.

I had an exotic experience at paradise isle. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The service was quick, also the food was amazing. Loved the swimming pool area. Reached the beach in just 1 min, really amazing experience.

It is one of the most beautiful properties to stay near beach in Maple. The rooms are of normal size but some rooms has beach view , the restaurant also has beach view. The pool is amazing and the game zone is also fun. Malpe beach is just in front of the resort and the walkway of the beach is also at 5 min drive. Perfect place for a wonderful stay

Beach view rooms are decent but pricey. View is amazing on bright sunny days. Restaurant Ocean view to has great view and hearty breakfast with local delicacies. Try Mangalore sukka chicken / Kori. Do check prices of fish dishes before ordering to avoid surprise. From outside building definitely needs repair and revamp.

My grandmother has a beach house about 5 mins away. We go there every year (almost) , the first day until the house is cleaned we stay in Paradise Isle Beach Resort, lovely ambience. Sometimes we even have dinner here during our vacay. Good food indeed!

Only the location is the attraction to this place. The hotel is very old and definitely needs a makeover. Pretty overpriced, but beach is right outside the hotel.

For the price ~7k/day, they should provide 5/4 star amenities but the room was not so clean and pleasant. Bathrooms are also not good. Foul smell inside and out side of the resort. Food also too pricey. Only good part is it is near to Beach

The rooms are expensive. We got rooms 114 and 115. They are in the ground floor, with the entire wall made of glass. We had to keep the curtains closed at all times and it felt gloomy. There is no balcony, common or otherwise, where people can smoke. We never felt that we were staying in a hotel opposite the sea beach. The plug points in the rooms did not work. We had to take our cellphones to the toilet to get them charged. This place needs a serious overhaul of its electric lines and electrical equipments like ACs. The redeeming feature is the well maintained swimming pool.

Best for its location, but very poor kind service. No proper cleaning of rooms, you can always feel sand on the floor. Bedsheets not changed at all , toiletries not provided or refilled unless asked for . Cups and glasses also you need to ask. We chose the hotel because of its location which is the best feature of this hotel. Food okay.

Hotel is good, location is superb at malpe beach from where one can go to the st. Mary island. Food is basic and not that good...Rooms need renovation specially, bathroom fittings. The ocean view restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea, where one can have breakfast and other meals..

Best part of this resort is the location bang opposite the Malpe beach and provides great views of the beach from the room. The room we were provided was clean and also the restroom was good with necessary toiletries. We couldn't much as we stayed only for one night,will go again to enjoy the beach.

From this hotel if you step out you step on Malpe Beach. You can't have a better location. Rooms are good sized and well furnished. The pool is good. The restaurant didn't live up to our expectations. Though the menu is extensive the place had a seedy feel. The front desk was helpful.

The location was great.. Food and service was also very good.. Rooms lacked ventilation and hence was a little damp.. but otherwise we had a great time..

Apt location for beach lovers. Personally felt the rooms needs some face-lift as things inside looks aged and would prefer the room to be more spacious considering that it's a luxury resort. Restaurant is located on the first floor. Breakfast is complimentary has a wide variety of dishes. Enjoyed the food here. Mr. William is in charge of restaurant and was very friendly. Food quality and taste is above par. As part of indoor activities there is badminton court, carrom, table tennis, billiards. Darts seems to have been broken. Table tennis table needs some maintenance. Could not use swimming pool since it was raining heavily throughout. When you enter the beach are, you will be stopped to pay for parking fees of Rs.30. You may mention that you are going into the hotel and avoid this.

This hotel is located in prime location. Rooms are good. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant has the perfect ocean view and the view is mind blowing. The restaurant people are professionals and they take their job seriously. Rooms are good, bathrooms are awesome. One thing that can be added in the rooms is a fan. Great room service. The locality has good evening sitouts.. Will definitely go back

Stayed for 2 nights and really liked the hospitality, very courteous and helpful staff and front desk. Room was clean, hot water all day, tasty complimentary buffet breakfast with variety of south Indian food. Very clean swimming pool, my kids really liked it. Did not get time to use other amenities of the resort as we spent most of the time at the beach or swimming pool. Very good location, good beach view from the room balcony... Suggestion from my view: It will be good to have buffet even for lunch and dinner. A la carte is a bit expensive.

Beautiful location and great excellent service overall u will want to come again and again. It’s just facing beach and near to sea walk fish market and all other places. I strongly recommend this place for family stay.

Perfect place to stay at the beach. Comfortable family holiday destination. Malpe beach is one of the best beaches in India. Swimming pool is awesome. Must visit st. Mary's Island. Full of beach activities. Overall very nice stay. Staff's are very cooperative. Breakfast awesome. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities u can njoy during stay.

Rooms are not well maintained. All the bath room fitting were leaking. Most of the furnitures are broken. No central AC(only wall AC). You will hardly see any hotel staff. Receptionist will not care for your complaints. Better to avoid this place.

Amazing place. Had a lovely stay for 3 nights, right in front of the beach. Rooms were clean. If you have any queries, do talk to Ashish or Nischaya, they are lovely people. The food was super good.

We were given sea facing ground floor rooms. Rooms were really clean and good. For us BF was part of booking and Bf was really good and there was alot of variety. We had dinner here for 2 days out of 3 days we stayed and dinner was really good both veg and non-veg

This is a very nice place for family, nice hospitality and food. Right in front of the beach. Ashish ( at the reception) is a very good person. Talk to him for a good sea facing room and other facilities.

CAUTION: If you see the review trends of this hotel, you will note that most of the good reviews are old reviews (Pre COVID times). And most of the latest reviews are bad reviews. So BEWARE. Don’t be swayed by the 4* average rating My review: Very bad management and receptionist (Ashish: Promising part is done well. Later watch out for his nonchalant attitude). Firstly they gave rooms 501, 502 and 503 which are not part of the main hotel but is a green room (changing room) of their function hall. The rooms were absolutely unclean and emanating smell of decay including the toilets. We asked for other rooms but they could not provide as it was full. They promised us new rooms the next day, but did not give us the change till 3.00 pm, citing a reason that they have to be cleaned. This was inspire of reminding them 3 times. Strong advise to avoid this hotel. Even the room that they finally gave us did not have hot water. All this, for a minimum payment of Rs 4500 per room per day. The facilities need a huge revamping.

Amazing place to stay On the beach. Not like a luxurious 5 Star types, but being in a decent place with all facilities (Breakfast, Restaurant/Bar - sea looking) is on mind - this is the place. Has a pool as well which is nicely maintained. Everything about the place is nice to decent- just the building and rooms have a weather of time over them. Friendly staff and quite helpful. Beach, towels, rib around, pool ... Highlights. And - ample parking.

Good resort! The resort staff will talk to you well if you speak to them in English and if you pretend to be from outside of Karnataka. They lose respect for you the minute you speak kannada, don't understand why this behaviour! Resort is located very close to the beach, rooms were clean. Food at the "ocean view" restaurant attached to the resort was excellent!! Hence the 5 stars for this place.
