Only the location is good. They have charged extra food cost for child which needs to be deducted from the room bill in the absence of one adult. They are not ready to refund the amount, very poor management and the rooms are not maintained properly which had a sinking smell and hot water taps were not worked. It needs to be maintained properly for the cost they are charging for each room. not worth to money.

Awesome place for family outing during weekend. Charge :Rs900/head. Would definitely say worth the money. Buffet was available. Just about right menus for a lunch and must say the quality was good. Decided to pick this place as it seemed to be a more budget friendly option considering the long weekend. This is definitely not a Luxury resort but definitely value for money. The rooms initially seemed pretty avg but then we felt it was pretty ok for the cost. The ac cooling was top notch. The staff are super friendly. You get direct beach access from the resort which was very clean. The pool was big and clean. My kid loved both the beach and pool experience. Dining was arranged on the lawn facing the beach. The overall food can definitely be improved. The dinner experience wasn't great. The chicken tikka we ordered was very chewy and we returned it. The staff were very courteous and asked if we'd like to get it replaced but we declined it. Little did we expect the chef to walk out to our table and ask us about what went wrong. They also went to an extent of apologising continuously for spoiling our dining experience. The naan were very thick and rubbery. The morning buffet again was a let down. Salty omlette to burnt dosai to average poori. Definitely not something that you'd expect on a resort breakfast buffet. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a budget friendly stay compared to other overpriced stays sans the food part!

We stayed for 2 days with family. Ambience is good. Pretty laid out and apt for relaxing. Staff are very polite and the service was prompt. Rooms were clean. Food was good and reasonably priced though it was on the spicier side. The beach was ok. Beer cans strewn around was a dampener though.

We had been there as an escape from the everyday hustle. Our stay there was peaceful. We had a great time chilling. The rooms were pretty decent and the room service was great. Food options for vegetarians were good, and we loved most of the dishes. We were able to get a room reservation for August 14th, and rightfully so, woke up feeling liberated from duties and pressures. This is the first time my family and I have ever visited a resort. For a family who doesn't really know to chill, we felt quite relaxed and rejuvenated. Verdict: Will recommend, for those with tight budgets and need a break.

We went to this place with our friends on weekend. It's nice place to enjoy . You have a private beach, rooms are neat and well maintained. Food is bit average. Staffs were very helpful and kind.

I experienced here with my family a day out on weekday, great affordable option they provided. Entry ticket charged fully can be used at restaurant. Food was delicious and they have good menu and very spacious place with beach view. I appreciate employees start from reception to entire including security all are so friendly, responsible and made us a day great. Pool and lawns maintained well, superb place for self photography. There are many place still unused and there is no play things for kids, that can be considered. Apart from that, everything good for the money we paid.

Price wise it was a great deal. Pros Beach view is amazing. They have a place to play volleyball. The swim area was nice. Cons Rooms were ok not luxurious. Bathroom will stink a bit but you can ask room service to clean it. The food wasn't good and the service was bad. If you order something you need to wait and call them multiple times.

Amazing restaurant staff. Amazing food at the restaurant (except Sundays, when cook changes - then food is not good). Gets crowded with locals on Friday and Saturday. Right on the beach. Besides the weekend- you can have the beach all to yourself. The rooms are made for Indian tourists (rating would be maybe 2 star according to EU/USA) but it has an AC and hot water. Some toiletries are also supplied, as well as drinking water. Rooms also have balcony or an outside seating area. The property also has 3 tables and benches facing the beach, where you can enjoy your evening meal, drink, or just crashing vawes.

We have stayed in Mamalla resort several times. The staff members are very courteous and supportive. A well-maintained swimming pool is the best part of this resort (we were told during our recent visit that they are going to replace the floor tiles in the pool, as there is some wear 'n tear). Breakfast buffet is very good. There used to be a lot more items on the dinner menu. But, they've reduced the spread in recent times. The price also has gone up. The sea-facing rooms on the ground floor require some upgrades. The sea-facing rooms on the first floor are ok. We had a memorable stay there and I would recommend the resort for staying with family.

The food and view of sea shore is awesome 🥳.It's worth for the given money. Has parking area. Low budget family trip. This place is suitable for family and parties not for friends enjoyment. No indoor games and DJ. Only beach volleyball and shuttle games are available. A small ground.They don't even have multiple hand washing taps. People has to wait in queue. For swimming pool you have to pay separately and you don't do anything expect swimming.🧐 Note: If you want to have fun, plan some team games internally and conduct it yourself.

Recently we went for a short vacation and we loved it! The location was amazing and the service we got from the team is great. Also they are providing wonderful food. You can stay in the beach in mid night also no restrictions. They will serve food with a smile no matter where you are in the beach. My only concern is the Rooms. Rooms are good in space and clean but some time Cigarettes smell are there. Other than this no worries you can enjoy your vacation. Comparing with other resorts it may look bit old but belive me you can enjoy. Cheap and BEST 👌

We went there for a short vacation and we loved it! The location was amazing and the service we got from the team is great. Nice swimming pool with kids pool. Awesome location with shore view. They can provide some cloth drying ropes or similar facilities. Other than this no worries you can enjoy your vacation. You may be visited by obedient and cute group of cranes suddenly outside door step.

We had a peaceful stay, Rooms are good, Budget friendly, easy connectivity accessibility. Best resort for families, kids enjoyed the beach and swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner have both options of non veg and veg with varieties, we enjoyed most of the dishes. Best place for families.

Was extremely disappointed with the stay here. While the resort is set at a really good spot and has great view of the sea, the amenities at the resort does not match what they charge. The food was very disappointing especially the south indian food which one would expect to at least be reasonably good. The place had flies everywhere and one had to keep the door shut to ensure they don't enter into the rooms. I would never visit this resort again.

Food and service was amazing, their private beach is cherry 🍒 on the cake 🎂, rooms are average, can be upgraded for better facilities,had to struggle for water on both the days. We were 14 of us, and all rooms allotted to us had balconies. Could hear the sound of waves late night and early morning which was amazing 🤩. Overall a nice place to stay.

Room flooring can be improved. Old tiles with patches are there. Apart from that the facilities are super to enjoy with family and friends. Kids play area is missing in the premises. If it can be added, then it would be very good for kids to enjoy much during the stay. Foods are awesome. Great value for the money spend.

Located right on the beach it was an excellent experience staying here. Very good food and quite a big spread, people are very courteous here and takes good care of their guests. Opens up right on the beach and has their own swimming pool, recommended place to stay.

We recently organised a team outing in Mamalla Beach reseort. Welp it was worthy experience. Frm the time we entered the resort's hospitality was very good. It started off with welcome drink (no alcohol), we were conducting events in the party hall which was able to accomodate 100 people. The lunch started at half past 12. The buffet was organised on the sea side. The briyani, fish fry, was really good. After a long time i found a resort where the food was good. Thn came the play time with outdoor activities. Pool was well maintained, thy supplied sports items. If you ask for flaws yes there are few. Onething shocked me was the rates of the soft drinks. 100 rs for half litre pet bottle is kinda shocking. Thy can be reasonable. Final say, it's good resort to hangout with family n friends

Been my holiday destination from a long time, from the time it had only 5 rooms. Nice place. Nice pool. Private access to beach. With average food. Rooms & Acs to be improved. In some rooms commode position is east & west which isn't preferable. Room No 406 is best

We went only for dinner. The beach and the view around that was great. However the food was terrible and extremely bad. The service was good which made up for the worst food.

My family checked in late at night due to our flight timings. We had a bellboy to help us with our bags. He dropped everything on the mud path on the way to the room. I noticed he was barefooted and he proceeded to walk into our room with muddy feet. We were too tired to say anything. I found the sheets and towels not fresh. Again as the time was really late, we just wanted to sleep. At 3.30am, the phone rang and someone insisted that we ordered something. I said no and slept. At 6 am, the bellhop was ringing the room bell insisting that we had called for water! It took me 15 minutes to repeatedly say NO and refusing to open the door! Later I found out that ours was the only occupied room in the whole block! So I really wonder what his intentions were to persistently want to enter the room at that hour. There were already 4 bottles of water on the table in the room as well. Breakfast was OK. Beach view was pleasant and that's abt it. The hotel is old and quite poorly maintained. All in all, a bad experience for me and my family. I have already informed my tour agency about this and advised them to rethink their decision on using this place in the future.

The place is really good. But there is no beach view from the room. The food was an absolute flop and very average. The place also allows public drinking near the beach. So there is an awkwardness when children are around.

Good resort, having access of beach next to it. Food taste was average, need to be improved. Some staff members are good in support & some are very slow response in restaurant. They provide valley ball, Cricket bat and some items for free if anyone wants to enjoy games. Rooms are okay.

Fantastic place for an overnight stay. They give a combo of stay, bkfast and lunch, which worked out pretty decent. Includes evening snack and tea. Accessible beach and a good service. Very well suited for family with kids. A nice swimming pool as well. Hood ambience overall. My only sore point. My daughter got a cut in her thigh when she was playing in the kid's pool, due to a broken tile in the pool. A deep cut and bleeding didn't stop easily. The only thing the resort could offer was a tincture and cotton, helped by the security guard. Management was totally insensitive and unhelpful, not even apologetic and said I could give write in the feedback form!

It was good but not to spend your whole day there. Swimming pool is not good because of so much chlorine in it . Food was better from what we expected. The review is for one day outing. Alcohol is allowed but not recommended while swimming.

Buffet dish mutton not available and many dishes no there, but whatever they provided is good in taste. Good to say about, Swimming pool any kind of shorts allowed ( most of the resort has restrictions and need to buy particular cloths for swimming) and it's too clean.

Suprised by its location and proximity to the sea. If the Rooms are tweaked a bit and proper fogging for mosquito controls are in its place. This resort can pose a big challenge to the neighbouring five star resorts for its value for your money. The kids can have a ball of a time in the pool.The staff are friendly and ready to help you at all times. The elderly and the disabled can be pushed by the wheelchairs right upto the waters edge. The pathways are wheel chair friendly. Above all it's the whiff of the Sea Breeze and the lush surroundings by the restaurant which relaxes and puts you to sleep. In short it's the best place to RELAX. Come and enjoy yourselves.

I have booked at 3600/- per night including buffet breakfast. If you compare money and whatever they are providing you with other beach resorts then Mamalla beach resort is highly recommended. We had a pleasant stay with my family. It is a large property with a beach resort. Room: very good and large (3 can easily sleep) Staff were courteous and prompt responding. Car parking: A lot of places to park your car. Breakfast: Good has many varieties Lunch/ Dinner: Food tests are fine and reasonable price Swimming Pool: Maintained, shower and change rooms available Beach: Privet beach with shower and changing rooms. Volleyball coats are available on beach. Environment: Safe and very quiet place. A lot of greenery, Coconut trees. Children can enjoy seeing Cows with calves, Duck Negative:: Property is old, from outside it looks old building but inside rooms are very good. As large area here and their trees. Management can arrange it in a proper way and decorate it. (it is their decision)

Restaurant was heavily disappointing with poor taste. One could eat better for the same cost in any of the nearby restaurants. Swimming pool was great and well maintained! I love this place for several reasons. It is an unostentatious place that is very welcoming. It is a great place to go with family and have a relaxing week end. The staff are kind and prompt in service. You can have a good conversation with them. The food is good. Most of all it is affordable.

Good resort with pool and private clean beach. Volleyball net also available on the beach to play games. Food service isn’t very great but other amenities are good. The manager at the reception was kind. Free food service when you book rooms here wasn’t available for everyone. We had to pay for what we order even for breakfast and dinner. For example, if you have applied some discounts online then they will not give free breakfast and dinner options. Kinda sucks but anyways the experience was good. There are multiple options nearby, if you are looking for a stay for which you can compare and choose. This area is good and secluded from the main visiting area of Mahabalipuram heritage sites so you have to book a taxi to go to and fro.

a perfect place to stay for a couple of days for a comfortable and affordable winter vacation. Rooms are good and big enough for 3 adults and kid. Overall old buildings and they need revamping of reception, parking, dining area etc, but staff was very polite and well behaved. Food was moderate in taste but the spread during the meals was very big. Beach access is the most fun part staying here.
