The organisation of the products is a bit confuse on some places and unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for but still there was other different things that I was not expecting to buy but that in fact I bought. And for those who have already visited a different Auchan supermarket the difference between them tends to be small.

Very good supermarket There is a variety of things you want. The staff can communicate in English and close at 23:00. The price is very fair. Accessible, self-service payment

Served by a horrid cashier, who asked us if the items in the buggy belonged to their store, after telling her politely they came from another store she then demanded to see a receipt. Even after showing her the receipt she refused to apologize for her accusations, as our word had not been enough. This was especially annoying for us after witnessing someone shoplifting. We spent over €150 there. We won't be returning because of this incredibly rude cashier. We give 3 stars because it is actually a really well stocked store and other than the cashier it was an ok trip.

Enormous hypermarket with clothing, housewares, foodstuffs, wines and more. Fast and easy self service checkouts available. The store has a massive fresh produce area with bakery, butchers, ready meal section and lots of fruits and vegetables. Mostly premium brands at premium prices in the store.

We often go shopping here. Find the quality of fruit and vegetables isn't as good as other stores. Love the health food aisle, the bio section and the bulk food section! The recent renovations are an improvement!

This Supermarket has everything one needs 🙌 and more. It's clean and great customer service. We even found wasabi , sauerkraut and sushi ginger !!!!

Auchan in Portimão is a fabulous superstore. In a city flush with excellent shopping options, Auchan is our favourite. Continente is a close second, however. There is certainly nothing wrong with Lidl or Aldi either. They all have their particular strengths. But Auchan is our favourite because it offers so much more than delicious groceries.

Another big Auchan store. Well, you can find almost anything there. From smartphones to cat litter sand to croissant, to prepared sushi. All you want for a normal price.

Very big store selling everything you could need daily. Clothes, own brand of toiletries (good and reasonable). Home delivery daily. Worth a visit, it also has an in-store chemist.

The only supermarket you can cheat them. Ex: you buy a kg of cashews €15 when you weigh you put in a €5 kg peanut, which is much cheaper and go to the automatic cashew 😁😁😁

Big supermarket - probably too big, too many choices, how many types of tinned tuna do you need to choose from? Waited for quite a while at the delicatessen counter to buy some quiche but nobody to serve us, ran out of patience and left.

Nice variety of products, good quality and quick service on the counters. Good access from the packaging area.

I like the supermarket, but because I don't shop there that often, like hardly ever, I find whenever I do go in, I'm wandering around looking for things that I want. Even though the aisles are labelled..... for that reason alone I prefer to food shop in my regular shops.
