I want to start out by saying that this was our first stop on our Ohio toy search trip today. The store is packed with old and new toys and figures. It's so full if you blink or don't dig you will miss something! The owners were super friendly and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. The only thing I got confused about (unless I misunderstood) was the bargaining aspect. There were 2 high dollar items that we were interested in, I asked if the price could be lowered and was told (if I understood correctly) that if I bought a "bundle" of items then a price maybe could be negotiable. I understand you wanna move your product to be able to add more but I would have loved to have had that one item or both of them without having to buy a lot of stuff. But we still had fun! Thanks again for all the info!

If you are a Barbie or vintage doll collector you will LOVE this place. It is not really for small children, unless they are adept at not touching things. Space is limited, I would not bring a stroller or a group. The staff is very kind and appropriately chatty about the merchandise offered. The prices are good, the quality is great.

>>>STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN<<< Drove an hour for nothing. The people working when i went were not very friendly or kind when i went. It was a woman and a man. I brought in some things to trade, while browsing the limited merchandise they had for TMNT the gentleman asked me if i was finding everything ok? I replied yes, no problem. Immediately after the woman asked if i was finding everything ok? Uhm yeah? Maybe don’t bombard your potential customers next time. To top it off the lady told me the value of what i had brought to them was $30 and they would only buy it for $15. When i told her i had just paid $50 brand retail, brand new at a Target, she immediately scoffed, laughed, told me i overpaid, and that if i had the receipt i should take it back. Also that the item was selling for $30 on amazon, hints why they’d buy it for $15... i checked the item out for myself, it was trending at $75 on eBay and Amazon.. rather that even bother telling her that wasn’t the case. Said these are actually really hard to find right now, made a small $10 purchase and took my items home. I will never ever visit this vintage toy store again even if all the other ones in the city close. If this sound like your kind of place i wish you and them the best of luck, and happy hunting.

Owner was very nice and tried to help us as much as possible. The place is just a snap back to the past when it comes to collectibles and it’s just a great little shop. The problem is you might be better off purchasing from ebay because there prices are exactly the same. So if it’s any bit of a drive I’d recommend just ordering on ebay. Otherwise it’s a nice shop that just doesn’t have its prices in the right place.

It is a treasure trove of old and new toys for serious collectors, and it is just fun to browse. Very friendly staff.

Took our vintage American Girl doll in for an emergency arm repair. The owner was so knowledgeable, she knew exactly which doll it was at first sight. For a great price, she repaired it perfectly and even combed the doll’s tangled hair. Great service! A note to parents - the shop is crammed floor to ceiling with amazing one-of-a-kind collectibles, so it’s not a place to let kids run loose and play with things. Next time I’ll be leaving the littles at home.

I recently visited this fantastic doll and collectible store with my granddaughters. The selection, pricing and quality of the items for sale is outstanding. The owner of the store is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. This is just not a doll store so I am certainly going to bring my grandson next time and make it a true family affair. O'Smiley's is the best store I have discovered for vintage Dolls and Collectibles at fair pricing and selection!! Tim A.

I came in with some old toys to part ways with. Owner was very knowledgeable, helpful, and paid a fair price for the items I brought in. They have action figures galore. Lots of Barbies, GI Joe, and almost any other figure i can remember from my childhood. I ever saw Strange Brew action figures.

I had a doll set that I started a layaway for, but had to cancel because I received it as a gift, but I wanted to leave a review anyway because they were so nice. It was Sherry I had spoken with, she was very nice and helpful each time we talked so I definitely plan on buying from them in the future! 😊

Drove an hour to visit the shop and closed. Posted hours said they should have been open. Tried calling and got a “mail box full” message. Must not be in business any longer.

Talks to children like they have no sense. My kids are smart enough not to break or open a toy at a store. Never heard of a store where your kids are required to stay by you. Even if they just wanna look.

Great store. Literally wall to wall toys. Cool owners very helpful. This was the first place I went after moving to this city and was not disappointed.
