The Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta is a highly recommended hotel. The rooms are incredibly spacious and though they could use a bit of renovation, they are beautifully decorated, creating a luxurious ambiance. The hotel's location in the heart of Recoleta is ideal, with numerous excellent restaurant options nearby. The breakfast offered is satisfactory, providing a decent selection to start the day. However, the standout feature of this hotel is the attentive staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Despite the need for some room updates, the Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta is a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable visit to Buenos Aires.

I arrived for a three night stay a bit earlier that normal check-in and the hotel was very accommodating. The food for breakfast was varied and of excellent quality. Everything, including most of the fruit, was fresh. The guest service manager was amazing ... being very attentive to the guests' needs and greeting all with an amazing smile. Had a very pleasant stay. Will return to this hotel.

It's an expensive hotel but it's amazing. The attention is lovely and each site of the hotel is beautiful. Each detail is its site and you feel you're at home for a while. The lobby is for a five star hotel, the food is simply amazing and I'm sure that you feel so comfortable there. The neighborhood is beautiful, you can find bars, restaurants and discos near. The location is one of the best in Buenos Aires.

I unfortunately got very sick in another country and came here shortly after and the staff have been amazing! I had to use room service due to not being able to move around much and I ordered several items that were not on the menu and the staff made it happen. On top of that, they have been checking on me which is very polite. As someone who does not speak much Spanish, they have also been very patient and were able to locate translators. The room is very clean and so is the hotel itself. If you are ever in Buenos Aires, you will not find a better hotel to stay at, with great customer service!!!! Thank you to the staff here!

Stayed in this well situated hotel for a couple of nights in December 2022. Our room was pleasant, clean and well equipped. Wifi was was very good. All staff we interacted with, reception, restaurant, bar, cleaners doormen, were pleasant and welcoming and the number of staff ready and able to communicate in English was a bonus in view of our developing but still limited Spanish. We had a very nice meal in the hotel restaurant on our first night and the two young ladies who served us were absolutely charming, Our only regret was that we could not stay for longer both in this hotel and in spectacular Buenos Aires.

I highly recommend, without hesitation. Very kind people, practical location, good sleeping quality, all our demands were nicely fulfilled. I loved the decoration, made me feel like at home. All the staff were so friendly and helpful from when we checked in, to the moment we left. The room are fantastic, I really like it, It was clean, tidy, and comfortable, a lot of space, room was clean. Beds were excellent too. I would stay here without any hesitation. The location was great with access to everywhere.

We stayed only for the last night in BA. Our rooms we spacious and well appointed. However, the restaurant did not leave an impression, all 4 of our dishes were somewhat bland and not interesting. Plus ridiculously overpriced wine list. But I need to make mention of an excellent service at the bar for the pre dinner cocktails!

This property felt safe. Well kept, clean rooms, great attention to detail. Lovely amenities. Good restaurants. Staff was very helpful.

This is not a 5-star hotel with rust in the shower and stickers on the mirrors left from other guests. The hotel can use some updating. The location is great, just across from the luxury mall and close to everything.

During my stay I needed the support of the hotel very intensively because of a lost luggage at the airport. All staff were super helpful. I especially like to mention the concierge Martin, who helped me a lot. Merci bien. Location: close bo the cruise ship terminal and the pretty area of Recoleta where many shops are located.

Super friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean rooms. We arrived to BA via Jorge Newbery airport, so I (stupidly) assumed that we were flying out from the same airport. As my husband was checking out, the clerk asked if he could call a taxi for us. That's when I realized we were flying out of EZE. EZE is 40min away. Jorge Newbery is 7min. At this point I freaked out because I was planning on a 7min ride, not 40+ with traffic. I dont know what magic the hotel did, but there was a man waiting for us at the airport. This man knew what taxi we were in and exactly where we were going. He brought us right to where we needed to be. We boarded the plan with 10min to spare. If the hotel didnt arrange this, I dont know who did haha. Literally saved us from missing a flight.

Honestly, this hotel is great. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, it’s located in a nice neighborhood across the street from an upscale shopping center. It’s a short walk to get to the main drag. I have nothing bad to say about this place- it was everything and more! I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel in a good area of town. We can walk everywhere. Hotel rooms are nice with a great view of the harbour and city. Breakfast was included. Beds are super comfortable and we have a tub and shower in our bathroom. Would stay here again.

Stayed here 4 nights as part of pre Antarctica booking. I really liked the hotel. The room was comfortable, breakfast good, 1 dinner was great but 1 not so good. Also the young women in the cafe seem to think they are too good to work here as the food service is slow, and they don't clear the tables quickly. Not sure if it was because I was a solo female customer and English speaker or not. Recoleta area is good to stay as close to museums, cemetery etc and taxis plentiful.

In the heart of the historic district so there were many places within walking distance. Hotel room is clean but simple. Hotel personnel are friendly.

I asked to move closer to me group and was denied even though no one was sitting at the table I had requested. Rude response.

Restaurant Alma was excellent, the best food we had in Buenos Aires. The room was also outstanding, high quality. Unfortunately, there were plumbing issues with our bathroom which soured our stay. The Customer service started out strong but ended poorly.

Stayed here on my return from Antartica. The hotel itself is wonderful. The food was great and the staff were so helpful. It’s close to everything. The rooms were large and clean. On my last day I booked a two hour massage at their spa. It was 100,000 Argentina Pesos. I don’t mind paying for a top notch spa experience but this was anything but top notch. The massage itself was ok at best. They don’t have any in house masseuse. So you don’t know what you are getting. The spa itself doesn’t even have chairs in the waiting area and it’s basically in a gym. My spa room was at the end of the locker room and someone came in mid massage. The massage was not the 2 hours I paid for but an hour and forty five minutes at most. If you are going to charge top dollar prices you better provide top dollar services. I had an 8,000 peso massage in Ushuaia that was 10x better. Very dissatisfied, but the hotel overall is very nice.

This hotel is very conveniently located close to the tourist area and has plenty of very good restuaratnts in its locality, although the hotel food is still very good and reasonably priced. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The front desk and foyer staff were extremelya ccommodating and very helpful for the whole duration of our stay. I woudl certainly recommend it to anyone wnating a good hotel!

Stayed for three nights. Found the staff to be excellent. Great restaurant and breakfast. Can't fault the hotel other than the sauna was out of order.

Great place to stay after our cruise. Great service. The room was very nice and confortavel. We had a special room just for us caming from the cruise .Tea and coffee was available until our room was ready. The only problem to our surprise that we travel a lot and never had. The electric plugs are not comparables with US/Canada style. It was very inconvenient. The most important thing is our cell phones. Not only to communicate, but to take all the beautiful pictures all over the world. One of the girls at the front desk plugged my cell to there computer for the time I went for dinner. Obviously I miss some great pictures!! Hope they came up with a solution very soon as everywhere in the World we been to never had to deal with. But never the list. I have to say that is is a great place to stay. And very central.

Didn't have our room reservation when we arrived even though we had printout of the reservation confirmation from 6mo, 3 mo and 1 week before our arrival byourtravelagent. Nothing bad to report after we actually got a room.

Nice place. But couldn't cool room below 20°C. Convenient to many parks. Was here several years ago when it was under different management. Restaurant was good back then. Departed too quickly to know if Restaurant still open now during Covid-19. Staff is friendly and bellman very responsive.

The only thing that really bugged me about my stay was that there were no USB charging ports. This is something I would recommend you look into and upgrade your rooms according to the ever changing technology. Otherwise, this stay was incredible. Genuinely gracious staff. Pleasant indeed. The food at breakfast was nice and fresh 😍 Back on the 28th of February.

Stayed as part of a tour. Well located in a comfortable area of Buenos Aires to explore on foot. Allowed late check out prior to an evening flight back to the US.

We stayed one night passing through going to Cordoba. Very nice lobby and the staff was so friendly. The check in desks had staff that spoke English so that was helpful. I made reservations through Expedia and it was a seamless check in. Our room had the two beds we expected and they were comfortable. The refrigerator had a few soft drinks in it and complimentary waters on the table. Spacious bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast was great. Very nice stay

Absolutely beautiful hotel staffed with the actual best people.

Ideally located for business or leisure travel. In a safe area, very well connected to main roads. Sofitel service standards are always impecable, and they have recently refurbished most of the hotel.

The whole experience here was fantastic. The staff are all wonderful, especially one of the women at the concierge desk. The airline lost our luggage and she was incredibly helpful in translating for us and liaising with the airline.

We spent 7 nights at Sofitel over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed being spoilt by very attentive staff. Mario and Martin were particularly helpful but the whole team were professional and also friendly. The swimming pool is very shallow for any serious exercise. The under used garden is charming. What a shame the pool is not located there. We will certainly recommend Sofitel to our friends. any serious exercise

Located in one of the most interesting areas of Buenos Aires. Easy walk to the Cemetry and waterfront where one can find a nice range of eateries ( and ice cream!). Hotel not cheap but reasonable value.

A.C. is on a timer, so every so often it turns itself off. Great for saving energy, not so great for sleeping. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A gem in the heart of Recoleta Buenos Aires. Well located, clean, modern and comfortable rooms. 5 star amenities and friendly, well trained staff. Breakfast was very good overall but they should consider having more healthy cereal selection and things like skimmed milk for people with health issues or just watching their weight! The cafe just next to the foyer is a delight, selling wonderful looking cakes and coffee at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend
