A nice National Park located at "the end of the world", which is probably the main reason people visit it and talk about it. Other than that, it features pretty scenery and enjoyable walking trails on the coast and in the forest. If you are a long term traveler, you won't find anything amazing there, but for sure you can spend good time and enjoy the scenery slowly. Like most of the NP in South America, foreigners are considered as wealthier and will be charger much more than the locals for the entrance.

If you get a chance to visit this beautiful national park, definitely added to your schedule. It is not too large to see all of the interesting places in one day, but if you have the time I would recommend two days. Or you can buy a ticket for 8500 Argentine pesos that gives you admission for two days within 72 hours of the first entry. Otherwise, you can pay 5500 pesos per person for a one day pass. A lot of people go there because they want to see the post office at the end of the world, but this appears to rarely be open annoyingly so don’t count on sending your postcards from there. There are some rather easy hikes that you can do, there are horses roaming around and beautiful vistas, and you will have a great day seeing beautiful scenery and landscapes.

This is a lovely national park located a short ride from Ushuaia. There are many hiking trails and the scenery is spectacular. Give yourself a full day of hiking and bring a picnic lunch. We saw a lot of wildlife and wild horses.

Very nice area for trekking and visiting viewpoints. We had a car so it was easy to get around. We enjoyed the coastal walk by the post office the most. Lots of people on tours so arrive early if you can. Weather changed quite a bit during the day too so needed wind/waterproof clothing. Post office has postcards to buy and send at a reasonable price not too different from centre of Ushuaia. It was free entry when we went (early Nov 23) but think now it’s high season you have to pay a national park fee.

Tierra del Fuego National Park encompasses a rich and varied ecosystem. The aspect is wooded mountain and the many trekking routes allow you to visit it far and wide. You can get to know local plants and animals. Some points are really interesting, such as the mountain and the lake (Roca / Acigami) which halfway mark the border with Chile, or the Lapataia Bay which determines the end of "Ruta 3" or the post office further south of the world in Ensenada Bay.

It is a national park worth visiting in Ushuaia. It's not a difficult course, but the scenery is very beautiful. The snowy mountain range seen with the lake is fantastic.

This was a beautiful little national park. The roads are dirt/gravel, but are easy to drive. If you don't want to pay to take a tour, just rent a car in Ushuaia. The driving is easy, even for foreigners. The entrance fee for US citizens was 5,500 pesos per person. Have cash, the credit card reader wasn't working. The do have camping available in the park.

Stunningly beautiful. If you are time-crunched, take one of the half-day coach tours from Ushuaia and let them show you some highlights. Recommended.

Positive: The place is great, nature in its raw version. There are a lot of nice trails to do (highly recommended are the "sendero de la isla" and "sendero de la costa". We spent two full days there and loved it. If you are adventerous, try camping there. Negative: Everything around organization and information of the park is either null and misleading. At the entrance, we got charged, and in exchange got no information about the park and even got given a leaflet in a wrong language It is almost impossible to find a comprehensive map of the park and the trails. Careful with this since the tiny map they provide provides wrong info about the location of toilets, camping spots and rangers office. Trail boards can also be misleading, we found out estimated completion trail times to be either way more than needed or way too short. Overall, great place with a bittersweet feeling that could be done so much better for those visiting.

The park is beautiful but you are forced to walk on dirty roads together with cars a lot which really isn't something pleasant. One could find nicer trails around Ushuaia...and for free.

Amazing place. People were really nice. Paths on the park dont have the best signaling nor the map is accurate when it comes to distances. The views and the smells of a 0% pollution with sea salt and black humid soil its just awesome.

So good except cafe shut at 3pm. No beer reward for a very decent hike. Get the minibus from the sales hut in the car park on the front. Tame hawks and foxes and geese. So many lovely birds to accompany you in the climb up through the woods. Roots form steps. Easy to get down. Hard work going up! Views are very rewarding

The trails are not something extraordinary spectacular, but are nice. If you are already here, might as we do it. Entrance for foreigners is ~$11 at the blue dolar rate and they do not discount it even if more than half of the trails are closed for renovations

Stunning and unparalleled in beauty. Visit through the railroad for an effortless combination of history, beauty, photo Ops, and more! Plan your time accordingly to ease getting in and out of the park.

Beautiful park and great hiking area. Wish we could have had more time to explore. Some tourists were camping inside the park. Restrooms are limited inside the park.

It is a beautiful National Park. However, after seeing National parks in USA (like Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park etc.) experience was quite underwhelming. We were hoping to see lots of nearby mountains with snow covered peak but there were none in good visibility range. Entrance to the National Park was very poorly managed. Only two people manning the ticketing room with long lines. No restroom. No place to sit down. Utter waste of half an hour to get tickets. They should start issuing tickets online and in advance. Tickets cost almost US $15 per person basis and a rip off for a short visit. Train Ride is also very ordinary with no spectacular scenery.

Beautiful national park. They do have an entrance fee which can be paid in cash or card. They have a variety of trails to choose from. Most trails are relatively easy in difficulty and are well marked. The views are absolutely beautiful.

Worth touring with one of the travel companies in Ushuaia if you are time-strapped but better yet to rent a car, study the maps and spend more time on the beautiful trails. There are trails of a few hundred meters to 1.2km to 7km or even longer. Take your time and linger. The train? Cute and worth doing once. By the way there are great camping grounds and rafting experiences. It’s completely safe too!

Walk form the post office to the visiter center Alakush along the coast and it was super easy and really nice. Took us 2:15 hours and slightly muddy ! A definitely advice you to take the time to do this walk !

Went there by bus from Ushuaia (private company). Started from the post and then finished by the « baia lapataia » The driver was really friendly. The entrance fee to the park was 13K The trek around the park is quite easy and enjoyable

Beautifully maintained National Park in a short driving range from Ushuaia. I'd recommend coming here by car, as you'll be more flexible to go on the hikes you want and take your time. There is a lot to explore and rhe nature is stunning. Ticketing is a little difficult to be honest, as you can either buy them online and pay with credit card or at the park entrance woth credit card. For a cash payment only pesos will be accepted, but the staff was very helpful (had troubles buying tickets online..).

December 2023. We decided to take an uber there, not knowing how to get back. Got dropped of at entrance and went for a hike up the alto trail. The trail and park was fine, with no extraordinary experiences, maybe there would be more animal activity later on the day, but was just saw some birds. We had no idea how to get back, as theres no wifi but was lucky to find a cab driver that had helped some other guests. The cab was 30% more expensive than the uber, at around 12 USD.

What can I add to the thousands of reviews? Beautiful place. Absolutely worth visiting and exploring. For us that was a landmark at the end of the road South in our overlanding trip trough South America and the beginning of our journey North.

Biking distance from Ushuaia you can enjoy the park. (You can rent bikes in town. Wear a Buff neck gaiter, dusty dirt road ) Enjoy the park.

IT was completely worth the visit. Originally was going to try and rent a car. But there were non available. Asked the taxi driver if she would mind taking us and away we went. The actual fare wasn't bad and knowing that renting the car would have cost us 100-150 we gave the driver a nice hefty tip and made it 120.00 USD. With the credit card bonus conversion effective on March 01, 2023, the fare was roughly 66.00 USD. Worth every penny of the 120.

Fantastic national park! If you have only one full day in Ushuaia spend at least half of it here. I went both hiking and on a little flatwater rafting tour with Canal Fun. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend buying tickets ahead of time with the QR code or on the website. You can also send a postcard from the southernmost Argentine post office in the park.

Beautiful park with great views. Camping inside the park with our van was great! We also saw a young fox

It's a nice park with a lot of options to trek around. The post office is definitely cool to see and get your passport stamped. The older gentleman stamping them is super cool, too! You can rent a taxi and they will drive you around and wait... it's kind of expensive. But unless you take a tour that stops briefly at points of interest or rent a car, it's the only easy option.

Tierra del Fuego National Park was beautiful! I visited in December of 2022. There were plenty of beautiful trails, including water views, rock formations, and a variety of flowers and other plants. The scenery provides a surreal backdrop for canoeing and hiking.

It's an interesting place with stunning scenery and excellent views of birds like Condors. Lots of lakes and mountains with good facilities like a cafe and toilet, which were excellent. Lots of walks in nice woodlands.
