Mixed feelings on this one. On the positive side, you get to come up close to the falls and see a spectacular sight. On the other hand, much of the park is hidden. There is only one trail to the falls and although sometimes it provides a beautiful overall picture of the falls, it is mostly covered by nature, so you only get glimpses along the way. It can also get really crowded. To get a good close up shot near the devil's throat, you have to wait a while during busy times. Personally, I found it too short, even the big bang at the end where you see the falls. However, if you're looking for a short walk and a summary of the falls, it's very good.

Breathtaking waterfalls, a must see. It is unfortunately very crowded with tourists but still a fun experience. People try to sell you a rain coat which you will only really need if you go onto the platform in the middle of the falls and want to stay dry. Personally I preferred to get wet!

Beautiful Iguaçu National Park is where you can see the famous falls on the Brazil side of the river. It is a beautiful walk where you will also see birds, animals and fuana of Brazil. I recommend a guided walk as the guides are so knowledgeable. My guide spoke English. It is an easy leisurely walk. I recommend seeing both sides of Iguaçu falls- Argentina and Brazil. Remember to take your passport to cross the country borders. And ensure you have country exit and entry stamps in the passport. Border security are very strict. I would visit Iguaçu falls again. I recommend this park to all nature lovers.

One of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in the world is shared between Brazil and Argentina. It is a World Heritage property. The waterfall extends over 2700 meters. We waited for years to get to the falls. It was definitely worth it. No photograph does justice to what you see with your own eyes. Truly spectacular.

As visually stunning as televised. The Brazilian side of the falls is lacking in trails & is more commercialized than the Argentine side, however, it is the only vantage point one has to truly see the depth of the falls. Argentina constrains ~85% of the falls and therefore it is best to view them at a distance from the Brazilian side. There are efficient ticketing and transit systems set up within the park; they’re pros at this point.

Great views but not as good as the Argentinians side. Still very good but the pathways don't cope with the large numbers of tourists as well as Argentina park does. Buses take you from the ticket area about 15 minutes down to the falls

This place is absolutely amazing. The scenery and especially the waterfalls are breathtaking ñ. The waterfalls just seem to go on forever. If you’re going to take the boat ride make sure you bring a change of clothes because you will get completely drenched

A must do if in Argentina... even if you fly in for the day. Entry price is A$800 pp. Would recommend you go for the boat tour (separate and at an additional cost but definitely worth it as you get up close to the waterfalls)

62 reais for entrance to the heaven. You can barely describe numerous waterfalls reflecting sunlight, you have to see it. Personally, I have enjoyed the Argentinian side much more than Brasilian, however, it is still worth going there while in Brasil.

  • 5/5 Somnath S. 4 years ago on Google
Awesome place that one must visit in a lifetime. Not only do you see the waterfall, but also enjoy a scenic hike through the Atlantic rainforest (if you choose the hike, and not elevator). I have been to Niagra but have to admit that Iguacu has lots more to offer. Do not miss the Macuco Safari - its a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Official stores sell a wide range of souvenirs that are surprisingly underpriced when compared to US/European standards.

We did both sides, it's a real spectacle deserving of it's place as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Preferred the Argentinian side as we thought there were more walkways, better views and more wildlife to see.

  • 5/5 Martin W. 5 years ago on Google
Most spectacular waterfalls that I’ve ever seen. Fantastic for strolling around and enjoying the special atmosphere. There are plenty activities on offer- very touristic though.

Stunning falls. Make sure to go first thing in the morning for a plethora of incredible rainbows (some nearly 360 degrees), and after dark when it's a full moon for the "silver rainbows" (wow). Forest walks are also terrific and well worth it.

Once in a lifetime experience, worth all of the travel and money spent for a priceless experience! One of the most amazing places I've been in my life

  • 5/5 David P. 4 years ago on Google
Very different to the Argentinian side. Good panomaric views and not so much walking. To best enjoy this marvelous natural site, you need to visit both sides!

  • 5/5 Edward D. 4 years ago on Google
This park is truly incredible and beautiful. It is home to one of the world’s largest waterfalls and is huge: over 450,000 acres on the Brazilian side alone. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986. While in the park, you will definitely encounter the coatimundi or coati (an orange-colored cousin of the raccoon). I also saw 2 jaguar while there, but they tell me it is rare to spot them (no pun intended). It’s also full of other wildlife & you can take several different safari treks into the jungle to see some. If you don’t want to do that & just want to see the Falls, there is an excellent road winding from the entrance of the park to the waterfalls, but you’ll have to come in with a tour group, as individual cars are not allowed. There are trails and stairs all around the falls, so once there, you can walk around and get right next to the thundering water (you will get wet!).

Fantastic everything is in Spanish and English the attention is very good, is a lot bigger than Niagara and in a sub rainforest.

  • 5/5 Adolfo P. 4 years ago on Google
Amazing, it is not as long as the Argentinian´s side, but it has a better view. I fully recommend to enjoy the view and each place of it because it is a short way.

(Translated by Google) Iguacu Falls is one of the most beautiful and beautiful landmarks in the park, as it forms a semicircle with a capacity of 2,700 meters and flows water from a height of 72 meters. Depending on the strength of the Iguaçu water flow, the number of waterfalls ranges from 150 to 300. In addition to the waterfalls, there are also many attractive sites for tourists such as wildlife, Boco Brito (Black Well), Makoko Waterfall and the tourist center. There is also a statue of Santos Dumont that was gifted by a FASB airline as a gift to the "father of aviation" (Santos Dumont) who did everything in the way Converting the Iguaçu Falls region into a national park and reserve.

(Translated by Google) An imposing landscape. It is wonderful to be able to observe the force and exuberance of nature. The facilities are first class, they allow the experience to be unforgettable. Dream lookouts, the walkways allow you to interact with the fauna of the place. A great experience, you must visit the jungle and of course enter the falls in a boat so that the waterfall itself baptizes you, unforgettable experience. Definitely recommended. Miradores de ensueño, las pasarelas permiten interactuar con la fauna del lugar.
