The early morning stop for take away coffee and toasted sandwich was great! Speedy and very friendly service - thank you ladies! See you next time!!

One waiter has to beg the other waiters just to take food orders, while customers have try and get the attention of waiters to take orders only to have them ignore the customers. You get seated at a sticky table where You wait an HOUR & 20 minutes for your food and NO IT WAS NOT RUSH HOUR!! When the food is eventually brought out, half the order is forgotten. The Famous Wimpy Coffees were cold and so were the Chips, the burgers were thrown together with gross looking lettuce and the staff are not very helpful. Shame on you Wimpy! One star is an understatement!!

Mandie was our waitress and she was a delight very friendly and great service. The food was delicious. I had the cheesy veggie patties and will definitely have them again. The only problem was it was a bit slow considering you are driving through and trying to get to your destination quickly. But otherwise I enjoyed it a lot, thank you Mandie for your lovely service with a smile!

A lovely stop and meal had by all at Wimpy on our way to George! The service was amazing, the food delicious and everything was fast and efficient!! We even had an issue with one of the drinks, but our amazing waitress Mandie just took it away and changed our order! So understanding and helpful. Thank you Mandie and Wimpy, we will definitely be back again.

For the festive season, it is advisable for management to employ additional staff. Tried getting the attention of a waiter, but they just looked at us and walked on. We sat for 30 min before a menu was brought after asking for it and decided to leave after another 10 minutes. We tried order on the App but that didnt work either. Not angry, we still love Wimpy but the service was ridiculous.

Sinazo listens to her customers requests and ensures they get what they ask for. Our toasted sandwiches were divine, made to order, and the milkshakes nice and creamy. Well done to friendly waitress and good cooked in the kitchen. A good place to stop to recharge ones "batteries".

Extremely friendly staff that were super helpful with the redemption of our ebucks voucher. They made sure our stopover was comfortable, and Pamela was checking in on us constantly.

Very, very bad service. We waited OVER AN HOUR for 2 toasted sandwiches. The more we tell the cashier that we want a refund, the more she tells us our food is on the way. I will NEVER Go to Colesberg Wimpy EVER AGAIN.

Thank goodness for Wimpy waiter Darryll - he was marvelous. Not due to the staff the service is otherwise terrible - we were travelling at peak time and the restaurant was extremely busy. They seemed to be understaffed. Also there was a large waiting area for takeaway food and not enough tables for the restaurant - it appeared management encouraged people to get takeouts rather than sit down and eat - after driving for hours however a rest while sitting down and eating was most welcome Our food took an hour to arrive - we were a large group with 7 people. The food was nice when it finally arrived, but what should have been a 45 minute break ended up taking in excess an hour and a half.

Even though we battled to get parking and a table (due to the busy festive season), we received our food and drinks within 11 minutes from when we ordered. Guys this is amazing, your teamwork is brilliant. What a great experience as a local to sit down and get 5 star service. Keep up the good work Wimpy team!

Wooow what an exceptional service I received at Wimpy Colesberg from Ntombifuthi and Lisakhanya, they were so friendly and professional. Next time I'm traveling to Cape Town passing Colesberg I will definitely stop.

Slow service....not what you are used to at a Wimpy, and Colesberg being a keypoint on the road down you should expect management to realise that travellers would like to get back on the road as quick as possible.

We always stop at Engen Colesberg between Cape Town and Gauteng, where there is always fresh food and friendly service. After a rough start this morning with a flat tyre, Xolelwa and Lisakhanya brightened the day with their big smiles and helpful service. Keep up the good work team.
