We were passing through and stopped for a light lunch. Outdoor play area for kids. Service was great - we were the only ones in the restaurant. Spur is spur if you have been to one you basically been at all. Restrooms are outside - clean and tidy.

The food was ok, service not bad at the spur. Just very unpleasant in the parking area with all the children begging for the bigger children. The facilities outside were terrible, the toilets for the women were out of order and the family toilets were too dirty to be used, so we had to turn back to use the toilets at the other garage. We won't stop at this Caltex garage again. The Spur contacted me with regards to this review and gave me feedback. They have addressed the problems with the garage management and it is being handled and they have assured me it will not look like this again when we go there. I am very pleased with the prompt actions taken by the Spur management and can see that customer satisfaction is very important to them. Thanks for your interaction and I am sure the next stop there i will be able to give a better review.

Really great place. They let me sit outside with my huge German shepherd dog. We were on our way from joburg to Knysna. But though the staff was.very obviously scared of him, they still acted very professionally and brought us our meals.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food at this small roadside Spur outside Colesberg. We had a late breakfast while refueling at the Caltex and, not being a Spur person, we had the toasted sandwiches. Way above my expectations and I will surely visit them again.

Lovely service and lovely food. Enjoyed the experience, made our trip feel shorter. Will go again on our way home. Children coloured in pictures and before we knew it the food was ready.. Fresh chips & onion rings. Yummy

Good service - great waitress. But food not so wonderful. Shocked at the prices of Spurs food at yhe moment. Not the franchise's fault though. But i feel the food could have been better. The lady waiting on us was amazing, very sweet and helpful. One portion was oversized and the other smaller than usual.

Horrible service. We arrived waited at door hoping to be shown a table. One waiter just looked at us and went pass us. We managed to get a table on our own, we sat waited to be helped, no one came. We went to lady at till to ask for service. Waited until we changed tables to be closer where we see waiters are serving. We ask one waiter to help who told us it's not her table and was not scared to tell one guy who looked like a manager the same thing that we are not on her table. Service leaves much to be desired.Finally when a waiter came, she was sulking with no greeting at all.

Looking forward to a quick stop at a spur along our long trip. We ordered our food, mostly burgers only told 15min later there were no buns(sandwich bread is to be used then) . 55min after we placed our order(food and beverages) our beverages arrived. In actual fact our beverage order was incorrect ,but we were not waiting this long again. After asking on multiple occasions where our food is we stood up and went and fetched our cold food that was standing there only to realise the over half of our order is still being processed and only starting to be cooked. At that point we cancelled our order and paid for our beverages and left. The service was slow, pathetic that we had to fetch our own food and some of our beverages. This Spur requires some serious management attention. What a disappointment, and lots of time wasted!!!😡

Stopped for something to eat during the middle of the day. Place was very quiet and was frankly unremarkable. Food and service was average. Spur subsequently contacted me and while I appreciate their efforts there is really no more to be said other than many thanks for your follow-up!
