This was an amazing place we found on our way back to Pretoria from CT, our room was super big with a king size bed, all you need in a kitchen and a sink, we had some coffee, tea and rusks to enjoy in the morning; it also had an AC that we appreciated because in summer is very hot and very good internet connection; the house also had a pool that we were able to enjoy; our host was very kind. I can’t recommend them enough. 100% worthy to stay there.

I usually stop at Colesberg on my journey from Jhb to CT. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the location is ideal to access the restaurants. Karen was very kind and accommodating and went out of her way to assist when unforeseen circumstances necessitated a change in my booking dates recently. I highly recommend Skietberg Lodge.

We arrived quite late and in the rain. They were ready and waiting for us. Communication was great. Rooms are so neat and beds are very comfortable. Pity we couldn't make use of the nice braai area as we were just in-and-out (next time!) Skietberg is exactly what you are looking for on your trip from JHB to CT.

The owner was prompt and efficient. Clean and tidy venue. The shower door was very narrow, which could be a potential issue with large people. I'd suggest changing the hinge position. Other than that, a beautiful place to overnight

We decided to stay at Skietberg lodge based on google reviews. So Glad we made this decision. Awesome half way stop on our road trip down to the Garden Route and then again on our way back to JHB. Very friendly hosts, very clean and neat!! Very warm and comfy bedding. Secure parking, aircon in room. You have a very homely feel and well managed venue! We will definitely stop over when going on our next trip to the garden route.

Definitely one of the best lodges we have stayed in. So friendly and so clean. We had everything we needed and were assisted well. Well recommended.

Wonderful reception as we arrived at the gate we were welcomed and showed parking spot and the room. Parking behind locked security gates. The room is welk equipped with everything required for an overnight stay. The bathroom is very big with a lovely shower. Highly recommend for midway overnight between the Cape and Gauteng.

I enjoyed a wonderful sleepover evening here while traveling Cape Town to Johannesburg. Accommodation of a high standard. By the foot of Skietberg whith its rich history. Do make a stop here .

Lovely rooms with a warm atmosphere and comfortable environment. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Even though we arrived quite late, they were available and welcoming. The amenities in the units are highly functional and modern. As a big family, we felt comfortable in the space, not squished at all. We also enjoyed the coffee and rusks this morning 😊 This is our third time staying here, and we'll definitely stay again! Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

Very friendly and efficient hostess. Made every effort to accommodate us. Facilities are modern and sparkling clean. Felt quite happy with the security parking. Life saver of a garden pool after a hot Karoo day. Nice braai setup for the room we had. We prefer to cook in when we're travelling and a stove top would have been useful if rain had prevented a braai, this time no problem.

My goodness..... What a find. Here you get everything and the kitchen sink. Very dog friendly..... This made our trip so much easier with a treasured furry. The hosts are only too happy to assist and you are far enough away from the other guests. Very safe too. Cars, trailers, doggies and humans alike are all welcome and safe........❤️
