Nothing
wrong
with
the
accommodation.
Had
all
the
basics
with
some
improvements
since
the
first
time
(a
year
ago)
I
stayed
here,
and
the
stay
was
comfortable.
The
problem
I
experienced
was
similar
to
my
first
experience.
The
owner
wanted
to
by-pass
booking.com
to
avoid
paying
commission,
so
I
was
again
asked
to
cancel
the
booking
while
I
was
there
and
pay
directly
into
(who
I
believe
to
be)
the
owner's
bank
account.
The
story
started
the
same,
"a
mistake
with
the
booking".
According
to
the
lady
(owner)
the
room
that
was
booked
was
for
six
people
which
I
confirmed
is
exactly
right
and
what
I
booked,
then
she
changed
the
story
and
said
the
amount
for
the
room
I
booked
was
the
out
of
season
rate
and
was
incorrectly
attached
to
the
room
on
Booking.com
on
the
date
I
booked.
She
gave
me
R100
off
if
I
canceled
with
booking.com
and
selected
"Covid-19
restrictions"
as
a
reason
for
cancelation.
The
last
time
(a
year
ago)
she
said
the
room
I
booked
wasn't
big
enough
for
my
family
so
she
would
give
me
the
family
room
for
the
same
price
if
I
paid
directly
to
her.
They
only
have
one
family
room.
This
is
clearly
an
ongoing
business
practice
which
left
me
feeling
very
bad
because
I
had
lie
about
canceling
my
booking
on
Booking.com.
It
goes
without
saying
that
I
can't
recommend
this
place.
I
would've
made
it
my
annual
stop
over
to
Cape
Town
but
now
I
have
have
to
go
elsewhere.
