They need to fix their place, lots of broken stuff and "The kettle is disgusting inside 😤🤮they don't clean it.

Johan was as usual very friendly and helpful. The room had all the necessary equipment for the overnight. Guests must just be aware of the very slippery tiles on the outside walking paths.

So glad I found Traveller's Joy! One of the best places I've stayed along the N1. Cosy rooms with everything you need, quiet neighbourhood, comfy and clean bed. And the best of all - the most friendly welcome and host, Marie. She helped me get dinner sorted even though there was loadshedding and made sure I had everything I need and more. Highly recommended and affordable prices.

Excellent place. Simple rooms but everything there and everything working including electric blanket. They have a pub and restaurant down the road where you go for breakfast etc.

Great stopover when travelling. Rooms were well equipped and very clean.

Great value for money and good service. Sadly some items were stolen from our car whilst we were going back and forth from the room as we were loading to go. Not the guesthouses fault...but one has to be alert everywhere we go.

Love love love it here. Marie spoils us and awaits you with a bright smile and warmth and you are made to feel at home. The doggits adore her. Clean and comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels, and a lovely space to sit outside. Just to exhale after a tough day in traffic - doggits can run around in safe and secure garden, cool off in the little plunge pool and be ready for the road the next day.

I stayed for 1 night and I do not have complaints. The family room was big and everything was clean. Only thing is that you know Google will not take you to the gate! You have to call to get to the gate

Beautiful comfortable room with all you could possibly need. Fridge,cutlery and crockery, everything to make coffee/tee, TV. Neat big bathroom. Very friendly hoste, (thank you Marie for getting up early morning, in the rain to see us off). Big comfy bed, with more than enough bedding. I will definitely stay here again. Manda Parkinson.

Thanks to Johan and Cindy. Accommodation exceeded expectations and very well priced. Cindy, thank you for your effort and hospitality. There was a local power outage and Cindy went through a lot of effort to come to us at a restaurant late at night and brought lights for us. Definitely recommend Travellers Joy to anyone!
