A bit overpriced. Very basic with all you need. Old beautiful house and some outside buildings that needs a bit of TLC and an eye for decor and details. Breakfast was good. We had to pay extra for our dog which was not mentioned when we made the booking. A nice restaurant next door.

This is the second time we have overnighted in this lovely old house in Colesberg - always great service, clean rooms and close to restaurants. Good value for money with an awesome english breakfast included.

Old and Quaint. Arrived in the cold rain and when I got to my room, heater on already warming up the place. Cosy bed and warm night. Clean and everything you need for a stopover like I did. Friendly staff.

We absolutely loved staying here! Next time definitely staying longer than just one night. I still want to discover all of its history. And awesome people, thank you for friendly service even with the struggles of loadshedding, we had a fantastic breakfast. Thank you again!! If you are traveling and need a place to stay, please contact these wonderful people!! You will not regret it.

I was greeted with friendliness, The rooms were very clean and spacious, and had an amazing breakfast and coffee even though it was load shedding at the time. I would definitely recommend Nanna Rous Town House.

An old house, that probably qualify for heritage status. However the rooms have been tastefully furnished and decorated, while maintaining some of the original fittings to make for a modern, comfortable room with a taste of nostalgia. Was bothered by mosquitoes which according too rumour, is normally kept at bay by the ceiling fan. But then Eskom does load shedding and ... zap zap zap. The host is very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was delicious and filling, the kitchen going the extra mile to cater for our halaal palate, which was rather pleasing. Recommended.

It's a quaint little place. The staff were friendly & it's two doors down the road from a good restaurant. The facilities are basic but there's a touch of class here. Nanna Rous offers excellent value for money. Should I need to travel across the country again I'll certainly return.

Not the fanciest place, but definitely one of the cleanest and neatest quaint places we have stayed. Great hosts and especially the the wonderful service and friendly smile from Rosy. We need more places like this, keep up the great workπŸ’ͺ

Although it is a 3-star rated accommodation, I must give it a 4 star. It is a historical landmark in Colesberg. The first building in 1860, upgraded with integrity. Very neat and clean, with a small fridge and facilities for coffee in the room. Also serves breakfast. Very friendly owner and staff!

Nice stopover. Clean, neat rooms. Hot, running water for showering🚿 , which is more than we had in KZN for 2 weeks after the floods. Great breakfast.
