So lucky to have a place like Elk Point down the street from my house. Food is always fantastic and drinks are amazing. Friendly and personable staff! Fireworks on the 3rd of July are without a doubt the best in the area. If you are looking for a place to have a few beverages and some food. I highly recommend checking Elk Point out!

Brought my kids with for the fireworks show on July 3rd. Awesome fireworks, we really enjoyed it. Lots of room indoors and out. We’ll be joining them again for fireworks next year for sure.

The firework display was amazing! We walked a long way and I would so do it again just to see this!!!

Excellent place. The food is so good. The fríes very crispy . The burger was one the best things i have tried . Other thing. The Star was the bloody mary. Recommended

It's been WAY TOO long since my original review. The owners have done a fantastic job of remodeling and a huge expansion. Washrooms are always exceptionally clean, tables and chairs wiped and even clean windows! Just a great place to eat drink and be merry. GREAT Burgers, nice menu, super people and COLD BEER!

The inside is such a great update, and the design looks authentic up north lake cabin vibe. Great location on the lake to pull up your boat and grab food and drinks.

We have been coming to Elk Point for several years now and have never had a bad experience whether it is for drinks, a meal, or some snacks. The owners have done a great job over the last few years of remodeling the place. The staff have always been friendly to us. We have gone to the fireworks for several years now and never been disappointed. The fireworks were delayed maybe 30 minutes this year because of several storms during the day, but I can't complain when it is a free 30+ minute firework show. Elk Point has become our go-to bar when we are at the cabin. We know it will be a good time with friendly service and good food. Small detail, but we really like the cushioned bar stools!

Update: Tried it out again tonight. Service was great per usual, and the food was fantastic. The BLT and mac & cheese were top notch. Old fashioned was very good as well. I'm happy we gave it another shot, and I think now I can say that you should try it too. Just maybe not the fish ;). The bar/restaurant itself is a cool environment. Service was great. Food not so much. Two people got cold food. I got a raw batter fish fry (cooked on outside, very doughy inside). Basically just seemed like the batter was on too thick so it didn’t cook properly. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were pretty darn good though. The wait staff did make it right which was nice to see. I'll definitely try them out again but tonight was not great. I'll update my rating if the next time is better. I sincerely hope it is!

Go there to fish once a year. Great bar with great bartenders and great bloodys. Can get pretty crazy on weekends.

Had the fish dinner about 6pm, service was excellent, plenty of seating available and the meal was outstanding! Definitely will go more often.

We came for the 3rd of July fireworks. It was raining so they were delayed. It was disorganized and they started at 10:45, instead of the advertised 10pm. There were no updates on Facebook or other social media pages where peple look for information on whether or not they were still going to set them off. The portable pottys were not clean, in a terrible location for those of us wanting to watch fireworks, and stank! The outdoor bar was over filled and there were not enough staff to handle the demands. Also people were falling down drunk at 8:35 pm, so I was concerned with the stages ability to know how to cut off serving people. We might go back for fireworks, but won't stay at the campground.

My first visit was for the Friday Fish Fry. I was very comfortable inside. It was clean. It's an open atmosphere, with pool, darts, & video poker set in their own area. Which to me is nice because keeps the dining & bar area open. The only issue I had was being disappointed with the fish. The fish had better than good flavor. Most of the batter had good flavor, & it was crispy. The issue I had was the part that was actually touching the the plate. It was soggy. I can only assume how it got that way, since I obviously wasn't in the kitchen. I would still recommend the business, but I wouldn't suggest the fish, until they come up with a way to fix the soggy issue. I hope they do it soon, & reply to this review, because I want to go back!

Had not been here in a couple years, new owners have expanded and remodeled the bar and grill ! It is an awesome place with great food at reasonable price! Check it out!

We stopped in for breakfast, but the kitchen shut down breakfast at least 20 minutes early. Lunch was okay. The iPad they take orders on seems to be more of a hindrance than anything. Coffee was served room-temperature. Certainly not a must see destination, but if you're in the area you'll get served some food and drinks.

As we are sitting here, we have waited 25 mins for tarter sauce and a beer and still have yet to get it. The family of 5 have finished our food and the waitress still has yet to come. We even went up to the bar and waited 5 mins to get our to go containers. Ignored. This was the worst service I have seen in a long time. Glad our waitress can keep helping other tables before ours. Super frustrating! But food was good though- As I couldn't respond to your response, but their was 3 people working, and it might have been busy outside, but that was after we were continued to be ignored by our waitress, as she helped the table right in front of us 3 times before us.
