No, I am not a great admirer of doctors, infact I like to maintain a distance from disease and everything associated with it , but I must admit Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital and the doctors and support staffs there, they are doing a mammoth service towards society as a whole. With their limited resources and unlimited pressure what they are doing and achieving is really worth mentioning. As a hospital they are just great 👍and as a Medical College they are really gaining popularity. Hats Off !!!

1st thing that will catch your eyes- cleanness I’m not saying that it is as clean as well known private hospitals.but it’s clean and I’m sure that you will feel it. Service will depend on the rush and availability

Very Well Organised hospital and college campus. very big and spacious campus. the area contains many roads, ponds and fields so very nature friendly. hospital buildings are well organised. the emergency building is a bit small. but the opd building is very large. all over very good. academics are also good here.

The only medical College in Murshidabad district provide best quality treatment . Though there's no department of cardiology , urology / nephrology and neurology but they are committed to provide best quality treatment for the patients . Facilities are really helpful .

It's the only Medical college Hospital in the district of Murshidabad. It has all facilities like opd based treatment and indoor based treatment. Facilities likes usg, CT scan, MRI , XRAY are available here. There is no department of cardiology , nephrology , rheumatology, oncology here. Cleanliness is upto the mark. It's one of the most crowded Hospital in west Bengal.

The college has two campuses, both in the city of Berhampore. A main campus of 32 acres where the academic building, administrative block, main hospital building, OPD building, Matri Ma (mother and child hub), faculty quarters, hostels and other staff quarters are situated. A cancer block is also coming up shortly in this campus. The academic building houses the office of the Principal, central library, air conditioned lecture theatres and the preclinical departments along with their own separate libraries, demonstration rooms, museums and laboratories. There is a central research laboratory and also the Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL). There is a 600-seater state of the art auditorium situated inside the academic building. It also houses the mortuary and post mortem room maintained by the dept of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, and a dissection hall maintained by the dept of Anatomy. The second campus is located at around 2.5 km from the main campus. Here the nursing school is situated. Matri Sadan hospital which has been converted into a 300 bedded Covid hospital is also situated in the same campus. There are separate hostels for undergraduate boys and girls, intern doctors, resident doctors and post graduate trainees. There are three canteens to cater to the needs of the students, faculty members and also for the relatives of the patients.
