I was fortunate enough to train at Nemeos while I was visiting Rome. I attended the morning class with Marco twice and open mat with professor Remo. I can't express how welcoming and accommodating everyone was. They made sure to have someone explain to me what the lesson plan was and the situational positions since my Italian is non-existent. Not only high level jiu jitsu but high level human beings. For anyone visiting from the states or any where else this is the place to train while in Rome.

Frequento il corso di Bjj da più di un anno e lo consiglierei a tutti! In palestra ho trovato uno staff molto professionale, disponibile e cordiale. A Bjj mi sono trovata subito a mio agio anche se era la prima volta che provavo questo sport. Il Maestro Remo è una persona davvero competente e motivante. Segue molto bene sia gli avanzati che i nuovi arrivati. Il gruppo che si è creato è molto unito. Anche per noi ragazze, vi è un bel gruppetto con cui allenarsi!

I was visiting from America and felt very welcomed. There were a couple english speaking students who translated the details for me, but I understood enough from the common language of jiu-jitsu. Couldn’t ask for any more from training on vacation! Located in a side room of a weight lifting gym, you can bring your bag on the mats and leave it on the side, they have a waiver in English, showers available after. Bring a water bottle and fill it in the bathroom tap. I would say coordinate on Instagram with them prior too. I was glad I asked if they would be training Gi or No Gi during my time there so I didn’t pack a bulky Gi for nothing. I will definitely be back if I spend more time in Rome! Thank you!

I consider Nemeos a second home, though I’m based in the UK, whenever I go out to Rome Nemeos is my number one spot - even beating the pasta there! My partner lived out there for awhile so it was always exciting knowing I would be training in such a high-level, kind environment. Not only is the jiu-jitsu there incredibly high level but the people there are so kind, friendly and genuinely welcoming. As a woman it is so refreshing to find a group ladies in the sport who are absolute kickass athletes but just the kindest and loveliest humans. I genuinely consider moving out there purely so I can train at Nemeos! Hands down my favourite place to train at!

Fantastic gym, I absolutely loved training here for a few months whilst I was based in Rome. The gym has a phenomenal culture and family feel; the training is top quality. Nemeos also has a really inclusive and female-friendly vibe, which is down to Remo and the team's awesome values. I loved going there and miss it.

An excellent academy in every way. Great instruction from Maestro Remo Cassella, great training partners at every level, great introductory course for beginners. Highly recommended, even if you are only visiting Rome.

La palestra è tra le più belle che abbia mai visto a Roma, un ambiente super accogliente e il maestro Remo è il numero uno dal punto di vista professionale e umano! Grazie!!!

Dopo molta ricerca ho finalmente trovato il luogo ideale dove allenarmi. Il Maestro Remo, oltre ad essere un grande atleta, è un bravissimo insegnante; attento a trasferire con metodo la sua conoscenza ad atleti di ogni livello. Un ambiente sano, in cui allenarsi con serenità e divertendosi. La struttura che ospita il corso è ben attrezzata anche per allenarsi con i sovraccarichi.

Il Maestro Remo è quella persona che bisognerebbe incontrare in ogni ambiente dedicato all'apprendimento, che sia una palestra,una scuola, un corso di formazione...Trovare "un bravo maestro" nel bjj, come nella vita, consente una crescita personale, non solo sportiva ma caratteriale, sociale. L' allenamento è impegnativo...non potrebbe essere diversamente, altrimenti cambiate sport e rinunciate all''opportunità di imparare da chi sa e soprattutto sa trasmettere.

Che dire di questa accademia? Intanto che il maestro Remo Cassella, oltre ad essere uno dei lottatori italiani più forti ,capaci e premiati, è un ottimo insegnante, il che non è affatto ovvio. L'ambiente è allegro, amichevole, e il jiujitsu brasiliano, che già di per sé è un'arte marziale che non si può non amare, qui, alla nemeos, è anche di alto livello. Una volta messo il piede sul tatami non lo si toglie più. Osu!

Non ho mai praticato sport da contatto e la Nemeos ha fatto nascere in me la passione per il BJJ. Mi sono trovata benissimo con il metodo del maestro Remo Cassella, molto competente e bravo a trasmettere le sue conoscenze agli allievi di qualsiasi livello: neofiti, chi lo pratica per hobby ma soprattutto gli agonisti, i quali sono affiancati da un insegnante con anni di agonismo sulle spalle. L'ambiente è accogliente, rilassato e molto inclusivo; ci sono anche molte ragazze con cui allenarsi. La palestra è nuova, ben attrezzata, il tatami grande ed è a pochi passi dalla metro B.

Exceptional BJJ gym. I travel to Rome a couple of times per year and I am always impressed by the level of instructions that Remo, the main instructor provides. Everyone is super friendly and there is no ego. Absolutely stunning facilities. I’d move back to Rome just to train here regularly!

A great club with super welcoming crowd. They really help you get in the flow whatever level and run a clean and structured space.

I’ve been doing bjj for 10 months here and i have nothing but positive things to say about this academy. Passionate and knowledgeable instructors with a lot of patience and a vast competition background, giving constant feedback and support. The tatami is new and high quality and the gym is very clean, well-maintained, and has all the necessary equipment for lifting weights. You can also join the Crossfit lessons to improve your Bjj performance. The training partners are very friendly and supporting creating a positive and inclusive environment, after some weeks I felt already part of the family. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn BJJ or improve their skills. It’s a great place to train and grow.

I signed up to Nemeos because I was looking for a gym where, in addition to good teachers, there was also a peaceful environment. In my experience I immediately perceived that it is a school where you learn a lot, with quality and with a smile. The group of students is truly inclusive. The teachers also care a lot about the competitive aspect, the school, in fact, participates in various competitions sponsored by the Italian Bjj federation (UIJJ), guaranteeing an excellent competitive experience. The instructors are very trained, competent and careful that the students progress safely. The structure is brand new, very spacious and well organised. There's also a fantastic crossfit space stocked with all the essential, brand new equipment. The gym is in the Ostiense station area and therefore easily reachable by public transport. All the instructors and the guys working at the reception are really kind and approachable, I immediately felt included.

If I travel 60 km every time to train at Nemeos (I live after Tivoli) there must be a reason. I've been to various gyms but Nemeos is the best. Remo is a trained teacher who is attentive to his students, as is the Nemeos staff. At Nemeos you train "tough" but with the utmost respect.

Accademia di BJJ. Il maestro, Remo, è un ottimo insegnante preparato e professionale.Paziente e attento con i neofiti e di sicuro aiuto per la crescita degli atleti avanzati. Il gruppo degli allievi è inoltre molto affiatato. L’accademia si trova presso la palestra overload gym, in posizione tel d essere raggiunta facilmente da quasi tutta la città.

Struttura fantastica con insegnanti di primo livello per tutte le attività. Offerta formativa molta ricca rarissima da trovare. Super consigliata!

Non avevo mai praticato alcuna arte marziale, però con la Nemeos Jiu Jitsu, con il Maestro Remo Casella e con i compagni di corso mi sono subito trovato benissimo, e dopo pochi allenamenti la voglia di allenarmi è diventata sempre più presente. Consigliata.

Excellent Brazilian jiujitsu academy, both for the professionalism, experience and attention to the students of master Remo Cassella and for the friendly and welcoming environment that contributes to making the practice of this martial art as positive as possible. The gym, made up of competent and hospitable staff, presents itself as a large, new and complete structure with all the equipment just a few steps from the metro B.
