Ogni volta che sono venuto a Certaldo mi ci sono fermato a mangiare qua. La schiacciata nel suo complessivo è buonissima. Gli ingredienti sono di qualità e si amalgano bene al pane caldo della schiacciata. Ne ho provate svariate di queste schiacciate e la più buona è LA DIVINA, con speck, burrata e maionese al tartufo. Una delizia per il palato! Il panino è abbastanza grande e il suo prezzo oscilla tra i 5/6€, a seconda dei gusti che uno sceglie. Sono disponibili anche a metà porzione al prezzo di 3€. Il personale è cordiale e rapido nella preparazione delle ordinazioni. Il posto all'interno è piccolo, non ha tavoli su cui sedersi ma, all'esterno ce ne sono svariati dove poterci mangiare. Questi ultimi affacciano sulla centralissima Piazza Boccaccio del borgo di Certaldo. Infine, ci sono svariati parcheggi (a pagamento) nei pressi di questo luogo se ci si reca in auto. Infine, posso suggerire da esperienza personale, di ordinare le schiacchiate da asporto, prendere la funicolare per Certaldo Alto e, andare a gustarsele nel borgo medievale con la vista sul paese, e sui colli Toscani! Consigliatissimo!

The schiacciata was freshly made and the portion size was big. I ordered the Cremosa which cost €5 and it was delicious - the bread was lovely with just the right amount of ham and cheese, and the truffle mayo was just delicious. There are a few tables outside but we took them away to sit on the square. You can also buy drinks and beers

Pasta with “homemade” sauce and gourmet sandwich were both the worst meals we had in 3 weeks in Italy. This place is cheap. Thats all. The rest is oily junk food. The ratings do not match at all.

Excellent sandwiches, freshly made to order for reasonable prices. If you are visiting the medieval town of Certaldo make this your last step as you leave the funicolare train. The sandwich shop is immediately to your right as you exit.
