Both the route out of the old town and the panorama from above are impressive. The typical Tuscany.

Wonderful green lung......relaxing walks immersed in nature...... Extraordinary sunsets......and then the braziers area...succulent braziers...you can meet fawns, wild rabbits, wild boars recently sightings of wolves... But I've never seen them.....and I go there almost every day....

The Canonica park is located in the municipality of Certaldo (FI). There are two ways to reach it, from Via di Canonica (lower part of the town) where it is possible to take advantage of the street parking, or by going up towards Certaldo Alto and turning left onto the dirt road. The street ends in a large car park. The park is suggestive. Immersed in nature and with the persistent view of the medieval town of Certaldo and San Gimignano in the background. About halfway through the park, there is a play area for children.

a really beautiful park. there are few indications to get to where you can jump from with the paraglider. above you can often find flight schools that if you want (especially to convince you to take the course) they will let you try it for free, shame about the totally absent services such as a bathroom which would be nice to find and a bar where you can have a coffee or a water but considering the situation completely immersed in greenery there is.

The route to and from Certaldo Alto is nice and a little sunny

Beautiful park, surrounded by nature. Good for walks and picnics with the family, without any problems. If you are lucky you may also see people paragliding... and even some roe deer. The park is really well maintained by the municipality, highly recommended, I will definitely return.
