Service is unfortunately very slow and not all staff members are professional or friendly. I started off with a sensation of them being extremely unprofessional, even rude. It is a pity, because the food was absolutely amazing, as well the wine paired with my food choice. Over all, I would recommend it, but they don't make you really feel welcome if you're not local. It is best to reserve in advance, otherwise there might be trouble getting seated.

If you're looking for a true taste of Tuscany, this is a MUST VISIT restaurant in Panzano. Their artigianale recipes are crafted with attention to detail, resulting in dishes that are bursting with flavor. Their wine collection is extensive and sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate. But what really sets this place apart is the warm and welcoming service from the owner and staff. All of this, in the heart of Tuscany, just 10 minutes from Greve in Chianti. And here some photos from my frequent visit to Enoteca Baldi.

Enoteca Baldi was one of the culinary highlights of our trip to Tuscany! The setting is something out of a film and you can rely on classy relaxed music to provide the perfect soundtrack to your meal. The food itself is divine and reasonably priced. We had various dishes during our many visits. Our absolute favourite was the prosciutto, stracchino cheese and bread bites, which were so moreish. The pizza was also excellent, as was the spaghetti vongole. Highly recommended. The service was always polite and prompt.

Upon initial impression, the establishment presents itself as a rather promising venue. However, my experience was decidedly underwhelming. The food menu lacked diversity and seemed quite restricted. A request for a simple modification to a dish was declined with the explanation that it was pre-prepared, suggesting a reliance on frozen fare not unlike what one might procure from a supermarket. Further to our dismay, the service faltered when we wished to indulge in an additional bottle of wine. Rather abruptly, we were asked to vacate our table due to an apparent subsequent reservation—a detail most inconveniently omitted upon our reception. Such an oversight in hospitality is quite regrettable.

What a fantastic restaurant to start our travels through Tuscany! Service was top notch as the staff helped us choose our wine with our meal. The steak was cooked to perfection and the overall environment was everything we hoped for. This lovely restaurant should definitely make your list. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Reservations suggested.

Very lively spot with great food. We got a very tasty lasagne and the mushroom-rissotto, both very rich flavoured. There is a large selection of wines - especially local Chianti. The service was excellent and attentive without being pushy. We were there for dinner and the place was full. Great atmosphere and cozy interior. The kitchen closes around 9pm in April, so be aware of this.

Great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff, down to earth, just don’t assume you will be greeted with standard American hospitality and be ready to go with the flow. Nice relaxed meal after a few drinks. Homemade pasta and specials. Highly recommend if you’re traveling through Tuscany!

We sat outside and had to come inside because it was too cold and we were getting no service. We moved inside and immediately got served. The portions are fairly small, especially compared to the price but everything was pretty tasty. Overall I likely wouldn’t be back but there was nothing “wrong” per se with the food. Just small portions and sometimes strange flavors.
