Oh
if
only
I
could
be
standing
outside
of
our
Airbnb
room
looking
over
the
ramparts
drinking
my
glass
of
wine
and
smoking
my
cigarette
and
enjoying
the
view.
I
wish
I
could
transport
myself
right
now.
The
scene
I
describe
is
remarkably
a
typical
morning
if
you
can
believe
it.
This
is
some
place,
A
perfect
location
from
which
to
take
day
trips
to
Siena,
Volterra,
and
other
historic
towns.
And
the
host
Niccolo
is
so
gracious
and
kind
and
welcoming.
This
is
a
real
freaking
castle
with
a
drawbridge!
I
mean
come
on.
It
has
an
incredibly
rich
history.
The
Accommodations
are
more
than
adequate.
We
enjoyed
the
full
kitchen
with
oven.
The
surroundings
are
extraordinarily
beautiful.
My
husband
and
I
had
such
a
lovely
time.
We
felt
such
a
connection
to
history
and
nature.
The
town
is
charming.
Good
food
is
it
easy
to
find.
We
really
did
have
such
a
marvelous
time.

for
sharing
the
tour
of
the
castle
at
the
end
of
our
trip.
Oh,
and
if
you
go,
don’t
miss
the
cute
little
kitties.
They
are
sneaky
and
will
try
to
slip
in
without
you
knowing
but
that’s
OK.
All
part
of
the
charm.
This
is
the
kind
of
place
where
you
want
to
keep
in
touch,
return
often,
and
become
part
of
the
family.
