I never expected to give this rating but I believe it's best I do, so that other future - honest paying customers and also elderly people irrespective of whoever they are are treated right. I urge Kmart management and training team to help these young team at kmart to better at their customer management and I am happy to do a training should it be required. Brief Scenario: First off I need to say almost every Kmart staff have been amazing and supportive across SA until today at ingle farm (which I have been to many times) yet my Dad in law visiting Australia, today was dropped off for a good 3hours as he loves to shop at Kmart where he had hand picked items along with a duffle bag he wanted to purchase as well - which for convenience had some of these little items put in for ease to pay which the bag was open in a trolley (mind you we all have been there who loves to organize things to easily take it to the counter so we can have it more organised at billing). He had been with 2 trolleys shopping for his grand kids and himself waiting at the checkout counters for nearly 15mins expecting some help (since the assisted checkouts were all empty) to go about the automated pay counters (but no one had approached him (as he noticed all of them were busy or on their walkies) to ask for help and he waited till I came to get him do the payment). To my surprise a Security walks in and approaches only us and asks whether we are planning to pay for the items? I was caught off guard and said " yes we were not stealing them and if we were too we won't be standing at a payout counter" which he smiled and pleasantly left (again hats off to the security officer for doing his job) But at the floor when enquired from a staff member whether the security was called in - she said " oh no security officers do walk in all the time" . (SARCASM I WAS NOT BORN YESTERDAY) So I called in the manager and a lady staff member comes to the counter but she gets briefed before she reaches us and then she stated the same and that no one from kmart had called the security. At my exit off the location I met the officer who was actually a good person and I asked whether he was summoned for which he did say yes he was called in by Kmart staff indicating my Dad-in-law could be stealing. KMART MANAGEMENT THIS IS FOR YOU: YOUR STAFF MEMBERS ARE OUTNUMBERED TO ONE OLD GENTLEMAN WHO HAD AN OPEN BAG WITH ITEMS TO BE PAID FOR WHICH A STAFF COULD HAVE WALKED UP TO HIM AND ASKED WHETHER THEY COULD BE OF ASSISTANCE WHILST ALL OF THEM WERE BUSY CHATTING AWAY AMONGST THEMSELVES RATHER CALLING A SECURITY OFFICER AND I TRULY HOPE ITS NOT TARGETED COS OF COLOUR. I have given this feedback to Jenny at Kmart at 6pm over the general phone number and I hope that these kinds of negative experiences would not be faced by other members . Has good stock in general. The sizing also offers are large extended range. Kmart staff here are helpful and the fitting rooms are clean.

Has a great range of stock, but it lost a star due to lack of staff serving at counters. Not everyone wants to use the self serve counters.

if your a bigger girl .dont bother with kmart .they ONLY cater to sml sizes . NOT FARE KMART SHOULD HAVE MORE 18 TO 24 . NOT FARE .....

This Kmart store offers a wide range of products at affordable prices. I have found that they often have great deals and sales, which is always a plus. However, the new layout with checkouts in the middle of the store has been a bit of a nuisance for me. Despite this, I still shop at Kmart because of the good prices and variety of products. Overall, I would say that it is a decent store, but the layout could use some improvement.

The lady on the door was the most lovely person whom i could have stayed for hours and chatted with. We probably chatted with her for a good 20 minutes at the time which all stemed from her acknowledging that we were leaving empty handed so I explained why and it went on from there. I didn't catch her name sadly, but in all honesty she deserves reckon for her customer service she's an asset. It's nice to see warm and genuinely kind people actually caring and noticed customers, quite often customer service these days is hard to find as employees are too busy socialising between themselves to even acknowledge that you're in their presence and treat you like a nuisance when you ask them a legitimate question.

Like who doesn’t love Kmart, but it is pretty messy.

Easy accessible entrance. Easy to get too if catching public transport. Good variety of shops and good food from the food court.

Don't bother ringing, just get cut off every time. That's if you are lucky enough to get through at all.

Deserves 0 stars. No customer support at checkouts, not even one staff member on the tills.

Good place to shop , clean and lots of choice

The staff picked up my call and I informed her about the SKU no. She told me to wait and then she cut the line. Couple of days age I tried to call them several times and they didn’t answer me.

20 minutes waiting in line at the service counter is ridiculous. There’s only two staff there and they are doing their absolute best. Staff appropriately or you’ll lose customers.

Superbig store with no store maps or customer service. Very hard to find what you want on a limited time budget. Need to implement online aisle organisation system or product location system.

Love shopping at kmart but everytime I come here to Ingle farm the shelves always look so messy, can't find what looking for or find it but was a random product drop so no price. I found quite a few products filled into the wrong spot so the price was not correct.

Good shopping centre for convenience, but why is there two Coles stores here? Seems a bit excessive as one is to small to have a proper deli but 100 mtrs away is the bigger store with a deli. Makes no sense.

I had the most beautiful shoppn experience.. who needs paris london rome or even dunedin when you have all your shoppn needs in one place ..kmart ..i bought jocks n sox and acdc tshirt for the big wedding sat nite and then treated myself to a hubba bubba chewing gum whilst i looked at the dvd section for the movie the human cetipede ..long story short. Youll find whatever u need or want without leaving the store ..10 outa 10 folks

I have never liked the kmart new set up with check out station in the middle of the shop so avoid kmart wherever possible. I go to target and big W first these days. I also hate self service with a passion if there is no one to serve me I put my items down and leave.

Just drove 50mins here as this Kmart store lists there opening hours as 8am-5pm on Sundays, only finding out when I arrive at 9:30 they are closed until 11am. Please adjust.

This outlet is huge. There’s a lot of options and verities. Ample parking, under cover or open car park. My favourite K mart

There click and collect service is absolutely disgusting, they take 3 to 10 hours to walk from one side of the store to the other and grab a couple items, and that is them preparing. Then finally when it comes time to collect, they send you a link to let them know you have arrived, i did this and sat in my car for 20 minutes, rang the store and was told i need to push a bell button. Well thats not contactless is it. The whole thing is a sham and they need to pull there socks up

Nice and clean shop the prices are reasonable and affordable. But check the prices it could be different from the actual price. Today they almost charge me a dollar extra I found out because I bought only 2 items. Imagine how many people have paid extra.

Self-serve registers only (have never seen staff at the counters to actually serve). Crowded self-serve area. Rude staff who didn't even acknowledge customers within the store - zero customer service. The lady greeting and farewelling on the door was very lovely and welcoming though.

Very neat and well stocked. Always easy to get anything and everything you want. I put in an online order. It was done super quickly, making it easier for me. Staff are friendly. Lots of amazing things to buy. 👍

This place is a bit on the unusual side. Its quirky, quaint can be a little old fashioned but with a modern twist. Has lots of different things, unfortunately the thing I was looking for was not available so a bit disappointed but staff are quiet, nice and friendly.

I am a kmart addict and regularly at this store as it is my nearest one. However I find this particular store to be regularly low on stock or just never have it. The ladies clothing department in this particular store is embarrassing and I've given up looking. I'm not sure that the clothing area gets cleaned up on a nightly basis or at all ever. I'll continue to go here because I love kmart but I do try to go to other stores when I can.

It's very basic. Unless You're in a hurry You're better off going online for variety. The only good service is the nice Lady at the front door.

Great shop. Huge range of products, friendly, helpful staff. Very well priced/ affordable.

Went there with my sister maybe a week ago and this worker who helped us was nice to help but as soon as we asked for another product (because we wanted two) his attitude switched and he got angry at us. We waited patiently and we weren't mad at all so that attitude was so out of the blue. We thanked him and he just dropped it into my arms, rolled his eyes and started saying stuff under his breath when he walked back to his section.
