Friendly people always. Great to have a chat and get to know what everyone has to say and all their experiences. Loved helping out with garden and food. Recommend volunteering some time here!

Attended this place, supposedly for elderly ppl ( at time I was younger) but discovered well welcome. Lovely gardens you can join in the work force, sell of produce cheaply, They had lovely meals, large serves available. Is run by local council, lots of crafts, painting, sing a longs, groups for disabled with carers, but my fave was the Pyrography group ( no not fire bugs, but drawing pictures on wood with special hot pens. They have ppl to teach you all the activities so you can walk in cold, everyone very friendly. Give them a ring to find out what is available when, If you are in the local area their little bus will pick you up and return you home for the same small fee- was $2 a couple of years ago when I last attended, dont stay home zip out and meet lots of nice friendly ppl.

A place for the people by the people, well organised & very pleased to be part of the organisation. Nothing has changed, wonderful group of staff and volunteers is providing a very important service to the community. Still the same, come & visit.
