Super friendly check-in. Although the room was small it was clean and comfortable. Also close to everything you could need on a cross country road trip. The only downside was it had an ancient "used to be a smoking room" smell.

Walla Walla Garden Motel was very nice - clean, attractive, quiet. Even though the motel is close to a busy road, it was very quiet. The A/C unit was a little loud, so it was hard to have it on at night, but pretty warm if it was not in. But that was just a small inconvenience. The owners were really great and the value was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

To some folks "frills" have different meanings. Frills to me are a clean, quiet, comfortable, welcoming surroundings, hot shower, and overall nice feeling. This gem of a home away from home provided all. Rick greeted us warmly and we enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

Rooms are cleaner here than hotels I've payed quintuple to stay at. Really appreciated that, thank you for the attention to detail. Just a heads up, Google Maps Navigation is really very wrong with driving directions. If you're driving here, disregard anything about Link Street and enter directly off of E Isaacs Ave

Good water. Clean rooms with a very good wifi service and clear picture on the TV. Would recommend. A/C works good, and the showers are lovely. Could use more lights, but opening a window suffices, too.

Such a cute little stop on our travels. We were greeted with an Australian flag hung outside our room! Was clean and quiet, and the man who checked us in was lovely.

My visit was a couple years ago but I remember it fondly. The rooms were very well kept, not just in cleanliness but also in terms of comfort as well. The decor was also quite nice.

These folks have taken an old (1948) building and done the best they can with it and it shows. Rooms are fresh and clean, the bedding and mattress are great, towels above par and they even provide a water GLASS not a plastic disposable cup. Decorations are modern versions of period advertisements. Overall excellent value. Without hesitation we would stay again.

Nice, clean, and quiet. We stayed there on a Friday night and it was so quiet. I would stay here again.

Good value. Humble and hospitable. It’s like staying at your grandma’s house with furnishings from another era. Rooms are small but clean.

We were so glad we stayed here! The owner was super nice and informative. The room was awesome! We loved being able to park right in front of our room. The room was large and we had an unexpected bonus kitchenette! When we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice comfortable stay here. Old style motel but in very good shape with clean, well maintained rooms. The grounds are nice and there's nothing better than backing right up to your door and having only a few steps to unload your luggage. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay at the Walla Walla Garden. Our heeler puppy Maggie was very comfortable, and accommodations were great. Highly recommend to others for a quick stay off of Route 12. Great coffee and hops to find nearby too!

Great place to stay! I was greated by friendy staff and check in was fast and easy. The property is well kept and clean. My room was clean and felt new, very impressive new modern look maybe recently remodel. Even the refrigerator and microwave looked brand new. No funny smell or stains and no road noise. My experience at the Walla Walla Garden Motel was awsome, friendly staff and welcoming feeling restful and relaxing stay. In my opinion it is a great place with all the amenities, very clean and modern look and the best ever pillows yes the pillows make a hugg difference. I recommend and look forward to staying here again. Thank you

Sweet little old style (but updated) motor court motel. Small rooms (we didn't expect more) but just fine. Very clean, good bed, really all you need if you're not 'vacationing' in your motel. Added addition of a very nice garden in the front with lovely landscaping, places to sit (even a BBQ area) and a sweet dog. Really a nice place, just don't expect a palatial room.

If there was a rating for one star motels, this "one" would get five. Very clean rooms and the garden area was very nice. Everyone that I talked to who worked there was courteous. Will definitely stay there again.

Had to go to Walla-Walla on short notice to see my daughter at Whitman. I needed a small room just for myself. Called the night before, got a message machine (you heard me, an actual message machine) and before I finished leaving a message the night manager picked up. She was extreme nice and got me all set up. Before I left I met the owner while bringing my bags out to my truck. He was very pleasant and we had a nice conversation. The room and bathroom was very small and the décor is nothing to speak of but I wasn't concerned about any of that since I just needed a place to crash. It was very clean and the heat worked well, toasty even. Which is very important during the Fall-Winter-Spring in Eastern Washington. They allow Dogs and my Aussie loves road trips. It was very quiet, in fact the only noise to speak of was my Aussie barking at others starting their days. There was plenty of parking. Easy to find with quick access to Whitman College and DT. I'm not giving this 5 stars because it a 5-star hotel, it's not. I've been to some of the best around the pacific rim, there is a vast difference. I'm giving it 5-stars for what it is. The staff is courteous and kind, rooms are clean and well kept. Its quiet, they allow dogs and has easy access to parking, the highway and East Walla-Walla. I really wish I knew about this motel when my Daughter was a Freshman at Whitman. I could have saved a bundle on Hotels that were Meh and not worth the extra paid. To the owners and staff. Thank You so much for everything said above. You guys run a quality establishment and I will be back. Best Regards, TB

We spent two nights here and found it to be a delightful stay. The room was cozy and exceptionally clean. Comfy bed, decent in-room coffee. It's clearly a well-run property and the owner's and manager's care and diligence shine through. Would definitely stay here again.

My favorite style of motel – drive up & park right at your room. On the outskirts of Walla Walla – east, close to the airport wine district. There’s a nice view of some low mountains. The room is small – the décor is really dated. The bathroom is small – with weird signage in the shower. It’d be nice to have more pillows. The charm of the place is that it’s more affordable than anywhere else in flush Walla Walla and it has a beautiful front yard, with lawn and views and benches and interesting people milling around (like bicyclists).

Friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL property, huge garden with lots of lawn space, cozy and functional room, nice bathroom, 2 dog friendly rooms, view of Blue Mountains across the street. I will definitely stay here again. I’d love to stay for a weekend with friends, have picnics and play lawn games. Property is well maintained; you can tell a lot of love goes into taking care of the building and the garden.

A nice quiet, little room for a decent good price. Went to pick my fiance up from prison and stayed here for the night. I enjoyed the room, the front desk was answering the phone whenever I called, there was no loud noises. Thank God! It was close to a convenient store which was a plus! I recommend coming here for a short stay. ❤️

Absolutely loved this little motel! They were able to get us a room last minute and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. The little garden area is beautiful and there are quite a few chairs and benches out as well so you can sit and enjoy the view. I highly recommend this motel and plan to come back soon!

Charming reasonably priced small motel. Reminiscent of 50's and 60's road side motels. Helpful and pleasant staff. Clean and nicely decorated rooms. Microwave for instant coffee. Well kept grounds with several pleasant seating areas. Close to downtown shopping, wine tasting and restaurants. Easy on and off hwy 12.

Lovely, quaint motel. Rooms are clean and staff is exceptionally friendly. You won’t get all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel but in my opinion they aren’t needed. Beds were comfortable, bathroom is decent sized, well stocked, has refrigerator (larger than most hotels). Very cute and cozy. 7 min drive to downtown. Would stay again and 10/10 recommend! Thank you!

The younger lady with the brown & blue hair is an absolute ROCK STAR!! First place we stopped on our cross country road trip. Beautiful little garden in the middle of the property. We are driving on a non-typical schedule (check in at 12PM out at 9PM) and they really helped us out by working with us. I definitely would stop here again if I were in Walla Walla!

Charming, clean, no pet or cigarette odors, pleasant desk person, no flim flam, the advertised price was exactly that -- the only one of a dozen places we called before finding this, since we had neglected to reserve a room in advance. The scent of honeysuckle wafted over as we unloaded the luggage. Morning coffee in the garden. Quiet, too. A rare find. Room not huge, except in comfort & atmosphere. Hubby said an NBA center would have plenty of headroom in the shower. A throwback to the qualities of yesteryear.

Five stars not because it was a 5 star hotel, but because of the way the hotel was maintained. It's an older facility that is kept very clean, and has a number of upgrades that keep it fresh. My room had new carpet and new bathtub/shower. Very satisfying two day stay.
