Came for spring release weekend. We were welcomed immediately and treated like family members you hadn't seen in years. We were shown the grounds and given the history of the building. The room was perfect, small and cozy, with the perfect amenities. Walla Walla is gorgeous and if you need a place to stay and you are not into chain hotels and such, the GG is the place to start. Already planning the next trip back.

We had a reservation for this weekend at The “GG” or whatever they’ve decided to call it. We booked our stay one year in advance and the new owners decided to cancel our reservation and then double the price. We have stayed there for the past 10 years. So. We stayed at the courtyard Marriott. Was it the same… no. But for the price it was just fine. We will find a new place to go.. and then when the GG fails because the new owners have no scruples. We will be back… because it is indeed a cool place… just not the type of people we want to do business with. Be ware.

Stayed here for Spring Release Weekend as they hosted XOBC Cellars dinner. From the moment Karrie answered the phone, to the texts that kept me feeling cared for and clued in, saying I enjoyed my stay is an extreme understatement. The warmth of Karrie when she picked me up from the airport was so welcoming. I got a tour after dropping my bags at the Cabana & WOW did they do a FANTASTIC job with updating and creating a beautiful & warm space. I thoroughly appreciated that she did a breakfast shop for us (asking about what we would prefer &/or need) and of course we enjoyed chef Mauro’s delightful cooking. What a treat. Brunch was also knocked out of the park. Truly remarkable stay. 10/10 Can’t wait to return!

We love everything about the GG Green Gables Inn! From the champagne reception and house tour, to the beautiful suite, personally escorted tour of wineries including bonus stops at some local points of interest, to breakfast each morning and the incredible five course dinner paired with wines - all prepared by their own chef….. Connie and Karrie made this an unforgettable experience! They made us feel like family and we can’t wait to go back!

Was in Walla Walla on business and was hoping for a peaceful sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate after a long day. GG fit the bill, the room was perfectly furnished with all of the amenities, the inn is eclectic, beautiful decor and even better service. The attention to detail, the quiet peaceful setting and neighborhood, I high recommend to anyone interested in spending a few days in WW, GG is the place to be.

Visited on a tour of Holiday Homes. Haven't stayed. Fun eclectic decor. Beautiful architecture. A place to host events with friends. Unattached guest house with an upstairs area with a bug-free evening sit-with-friends-and-have-wine.

I have hosted 2 professional events in the past month and I appreciate the level of order and sophistication I am able to present to my clients when working with The GG. Love the way the place is decorated and the food is always incredible.

We came to Walla Walla for the first time to visit winery's and join friends for the Tomato Festival started by Mauro Golmarvi and Connie Blumenthal and her twin sister Karri. We were greeted after a 6hr drive with a glass of local wine and a drink from the bar for my wife. The Hotel felt like a step into Luxury. We toured the Hotel with the twins and got the history and it was great. We got into bed of the LV room, which was enormous with its own patio. The bed was amazing and my wife almost took the sheets home with us. We toured Walla Walla's main St and came back HOME to the GG for a drink and relax on he porch. Amazing place and a Magical stay. Thank you for such fantastic hospitality.

We spent 2 nights at the GG and would highly recommend this B&B. Perfect location to walk into town. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent and the accommodations were top notch. We will definitely be back.

The 1909 bed and breakfast house has a fantastic, updated interior design. However, its historical floor plan and woodwork are reminiscent of its past. When we arrived, the gregarious hostess offered us champagne! The outdoor porch has comfortable seating, and we ate a delicious breakfast quiche on the porch. (The food is "healthy.")

The house has great energy, thoughtful design and the decor/art is on a whole other level. The hostesses are so charming and fun to talk to and they have put a lot of time and thought into the place, you can tell they love it. Within walking distance to Whitman college campus and pretty tree lined streets.

We had a wonderful stay at the GG. I would recommend this luxury inn, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Walla Walla. The inn is gorgeous as you drive up; in a beautiful tree lined setting with one of Whitman Colleges iconic brick buildings across the street. Once inside you are greeted with a glass of champagne and a warm welcome from Karrie. We stayed in the champagne room, which has a full bathroom, a seating area, balcony and a very comfortable king sized bed with luxury bedding. We were struck by how quiet it is in that area and slept soundly, waking up refreshed. The common areas of the century old inn are amazing. Karrie and Connie have decorated it as a French boutique hotel. When we arrived a small wedding was just wrapping up and it was so romantic. We had a great continental French breakfast and explored downtown Walla Walla within walking distance. If you have the chance to stay at the GG you definitely should.

It’s a gem! Vibrant, creative and comfortable. Great combination of new and historic. Hosts were exceptional and very attentive at all times. We were greeted with warmth and that feeling stayed with us throughout the stay. Common are space and the porch were inviting spots to read and relax with a glass of wine. It felt like staying with friends and family at a large villa. Enjoyed walking around tree-lined neighborhood with my coffee in the mornings.

A beautiful room in a beautifully restored home in a beautiful neighborhood walking distance to downtown. The breakfasts here were exceptionally good and it was so enjoyable to have them on the porch. My favorite out of all the places we stayed on this trip.

We really enjoyed staying here, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. We loved the breakfasts, it was so delicious and the table setting felt very fancy. I have food restrictions, so I didn’t expect to be able to eat much. However they went way beyond and made me delicious gluten free breakfast food. Having breakfast out on the front porch was definitely the highlight of the stay. It is also a beautiful house with interesting and cute decor.

We recently held my husband’s 60th birthday party at the GG and it was beyond amazing! When I met with the owners Connie and Karrie, I was extremely impressed with how interested and involved they were in planning the celebration. I shared with them my vision of the evening, and they did not disappoint. The GG is close to downtown in a beautiful, picturesque area of Walla Walla making it the perfect placed to gather. Most of the guests who attended the party were from out of town, and the owners made everyone feel welcome. The food was fabulous and the staff was attentive and fun. It was truly a magical night! I highly recommend the GG for your next event. They made us all feel special and our experience ideal. Vikki Whitmore

We stayed at the GG Inn for Spring Release weekend. The staff took exceptional care of us and the whole experience exceeded our every expectation. The house is an authentic example of the Tudor craftsman architecture and appointed with an amazing collection of art and artifacts. I will definitely return!

The GG was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay! The Cabana was gorgeous, the rooms in the main house were beautiful and well curated. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Kerrie and Connie have done a great job with the property! The 3-course meal on the lawn was delicious, but not worth the $130/person. We were hungry soon after dinner again. We were also charged for firewood after wanting to have a fire in the fire pit area. This is advertised on the website, but nowhere does it say it's an additional charge. Not worth it for $50 of firewood. When we were clearly checking out (bringing luggage to the car), Kerrie knocked on the door and asked if we were checking out (this was before 11am, when checkout time is), and it made us feel rushed, which was annoying. We've paid for the space until 11am, and were clearly cleaning up and checking out. We think it's because they wanted to give a tour to another couple staying on the property. Otherwise, it was a great stay! Would still recommend friends to stay at the GG, but make sure you clearly communicate beforehand, as there were some additional costs that were not clearly communicated before, and were placed on the bill after.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the GG. Karrie and Connie have managed to blend fashion and comfort to create the most luxurious accommodation experience. The GG is located on a quiet residential street and is within a ten minute walk to the heart of downtown. Karrie was the ultimate hostess. She is engaging, vibrant and genuine. She arranged incredible tasting experiences at local wineries and their chef Raul created a five-course dining experience that was off the charts! We can't imagine visiting and not staying at the GG! We are already looking forward to staying at the GG on our next visit.

I can’t recommend The GG highly enough. The food was stellar, the room was well appointed and exceptionally comfortable (best night’s sleep in ages), and every detail and need was accounted for. The location - walking distance to downtown and next to the Whitman campus - was fantastic, too.

We stayed in the cabana room for a girls weekend. It was super cute and great for our group. The hotel is is gorgeous and you have access to all the common areas including a 1920s themed basement with a full bar. I will definitely be back!

This was my second stay at The GG and it was amazing! The atmosphere there was incredible, I could walk around looking at all the details for hours and hours. Our dinner prepared by a private chef was tasty and so much fun. The whole experience was so wonderful. The cabana was a perfect place for a girls trip and I can’t wait to visit again!!

This beautiful boutique hotel is one of the best experiences and stays in the country. Every corner and room has a story to tell. I highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely stunning! The Green Gables was the perfect place for a weekend of wine, friendship and relaxation. Connie and Karrie were the most fabulous and accommodating hostesses. Poised with smiles and positive energy, we felt welcomed right away. No detail was missed from the impeccable taste in furniture and decor, to the tasty food and drinks. Thank you for making this a weekend for the books!

Stayed in the Cabana with my 2 daughters. The decor is a delight. Plenty of room and very comfortable and quiet. Karrie is a wonderful hostess. We felt like good friends from the moment we arrived. This was a short getaway planned months ago by my daughters to celebrate my birthday. I felt so pampered and spoiled by them and by Karrie.
