😐 The staff is generally helpful but the conditions they work under and what they have to work with sure is not. Since we do not have a reliable transportation system getting discharged and finding a way home and to the pharmacy can be really stressful..the buildings really need remodeled..and we only... ER Dirty no excuse. Floor had dirty baseboards and corner. Cleaning staff need to learn how to mop. Nurses need to use the garbage cans. Left bloody cotton laying on patient in bed. Plus wrappers all over patent stand. Grown adults should know to clean up and throw garbage away before they leave the room. Needs a good cleaning. Patient care was ok. Understand they are busy.

The staff is generally helpful but the conditions they work under and what they have to work with sure is not. Since we do not have a reliable transportation system getting discharged and finding a way home and to the pharmacy can be really stressful..the buildings really need remodeled..and we only have one hospital now, the General has closed. So since we have a bigger population to take of than ten years ago and only one understaffed, hospital to help the community.. heath care here marginal..

Most corrupt hospital around don't trust this place don't trust the staff the Doctors none of anyone that works here. This place let two cops take me into the emergency room unconscious they allowed them to take me out of the emergency room unconscious these cops through me into the snow in below freezing weather if it was not for a friend I would be dead he seen the whole thing happen the hospital will not say anything does not have any records but I picked up my identification from the emergency room. That's not the only bad experience CRT member had two cops strip me completely naked in front of everyone hospital staff did absolutely nothing to stop or try to prevent.

The staff here in the emergency room is phenomenal. My mother was in a car accident on Saturday and they gave her such great care. The people at the front desk have the best bedside manner and customer service. I wish all hospitals had such nice wonderful staff.

Went in. Sat for hours.(expected) they gave me a covid test after telling me my right lung was collapsed. And left me in the rapid testing for multiple hours more. Lobby nurse had to discharge me because the Dr. Refused to come see me.

Fantastic hospital. I myself have been treated here in the past and they saved my life. Just recently my senior mom went to the ER and took some serious convincing to accept being admitted. The staff has excellent bedside manner even with difficult patients, while being at capacity, during a pandemic. 5/5

I was shoved into an mri machine despite saying repeatedly I couldn't breathe in it. Spent the whole MRI not being able to draw a full breath. I didn't really have claustrophobia until this. I've been crying and upset for days. I've had a lot of MRIs before, even MRI guided biopsies. I'm a breast cancer survivor, I'm tough. It's dehumanizing to be treated this way.

They outsource labour, then they put profits over people, they protect employees who discriminate against co-workers based on disability. Leadership looks to disenfranchise coworkers and pit them against one another. Leadership actively discourages co-workers discussing of wages. Leadership will threaten Security escorts against you if you do not comply. Can't hate on the cafeteria floor staff or maintenance floor staff, they're generally excellent people and get the job done beyond expectations. They're unfortunately exploited by management, and the good ones are leaving. The food is pretty good, both in the cafeteria and inpatient. Feeling sorry for management, if that's the work culture they cultivate, home probably isn't any better. :/

Hats off to nurse Katy V. And CNA Alice on surgical floor. Pleasant and friendly, yet still professional. Katy was excellant at anticipating my needs and some of my "wants" she stated she was a floater. I hope she floats my way tonight! There was a ting that needed to be done in a certain time frame. She wanted to get it done before end of shift and she didn't want to leave it for them. Alice was on her toes and made things run smoothly for me. Every time she came in she was lighthearted and the night was a bit more pleasant with here in. These two individuals are a set of jewels at St. Marys Walla Walla! 13 June 23.

Call hospital about bad reviews prior to surgery there. Refused to discuss or alay my concerns. Did not care that I had questions about their care. This decided me to go with Prosser Memorial for my surgery. I live in the Walla Walla.

Providence St Mary Walla Walla emergency room is the worst they'll send you home with a broken hip and tell you it's not broken they'll send you home when you have a stroke as opposed to treating you if you're old or older they complain about spending money on you they're the worst they ought to be investigated

Best hospital experience ever! Broke my left hip on vacation in Walla Walla, EMT’s we’re wonderful; patient and confident care. Went right into surgery for full hip replacement, amazing, thorough and so fast! Easy recovery with dozens of wonderful staff made me feel well cared for. Dr. Willard had my full confidence, explained so well, calm and compassionate. Highly recommend if you are injured on vacation. But if possible just stick to wine tasting

Keep in mind this is about the ICU. Other people may have varying experiences. There's a couple names I don't remember, but of the ones I do, shoutout to Hannah, Eric, and Jordan, though all the team made sure my grandmother was comfortable for her final days, down to the oxygen mask (she was severely claustrophobic, and masks were a stickler) while being equally as compassionate to our family, both those who could only visit for a few hours, and me and her two daughters, who stayed through the end. They can't save everyone, unfortunately, but she had a great life, and they what they could. Amazing service from the ICU. Thank you.

The nurses are amazing and very friendly and so is most of the other staff. But the doctors....they are not. I was seen because I had a heart murmer and the clinic I usually go to didn't have the right equipment to test me. I get a couple tests and saw a doctor. He basically walked in and looked very irritated and like he just wanted to leave and told me my results were normal and he didn't even know why I was there. Basically brushed me off and that's it. I know doctor's jobs are hard but that's not an excuse to be rude and brush off patients.

Been through the ER many times and never a problem. All the staff were great, knew what they were doing and made sure other staff knew what was going on.

I was recently to St. Mary's to get checked out for gastro issues however the front staff asked a few more questions of my symptoms and immediately got me checked in, as they believed I was having a cardiac event. I was admitted and they were correct, I had had a mild heart attack! The nurses, doctors and everyone who I dealt with were beyond kind; compassionate and extremely hardworking. I couldn't have received any better care anywhere else. Having been a resident of Walla Walla for 37 years and not having visited the ER before; I received top notch care and rest assured I would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing medical care. 5 stars for all!! Thank you for kindness- your hard work was noticed and appreciated 🙏 ❤️ Anne Kearney (Heath)

Had a scheduled c-section for the birth of our daughter. Every single nurse, CNA, doctor and specialist treated us extremely well. Everyone was kind, compassionate and caring. The nurses took excellent care of us. The dietary team was courteous and prompt. The CNAs were helpful and kind. Every single doctor was excellent in care as well as bedside manner. So much better than a previous experience on the west side of the state. Thank you for making a scary time a little less stressful!

Radiology and I are old friends here. Everyone is courteous and friendly and I couldn't ask for a nicer place to get treatment for a bad back.

Irresponsible discharge of 97 y/o with Covid to 80 y/o diabetic daughter with neuropathy who also has Covid. No other caregivers and daughter lives across the state. Not sure which one is most likely to die.

If you need immediate help here is good. If you are looking for appointments, look else where. Even with appointments you have to wait hours to be seen. Better off going to to Tri-cities, Portland, or Boise

The worst hospital I've ever experienced, lazy, rude doctors. They don't go over your test results with you. Nurses ok. Receptionist are rude as F.I am sure they have a high fatality rate here... if you have anything serious. Go to another hospital

I had a procedure today and it couldn’t have gone any more smooth. Everyone was kind and accommodating and put me at ease.

Please for nurses and receptionist please slow down and take the time to listen to people some might have learning disability/disabilities and they have hard time summarizing and tell the whole story. And also if another medical facility calls and let's you guys know that someone is coming hope you guys can figure out how to communicate that with the receptionist up front.

I needed some blood work done. The Dr was very thorough and the nurses were friendly and skilled in the blood draw.

Urgent care sent me here last night for my gallbladder removal. Despite being full, all staff were polite and professional, and moving information along as quickly as possible. The surgeon came and told me himself that there was just one surgery ahead of me, and if he couldn't get to me that he would have me stay and perform the next morning. He collected me just as I was getting to my room. Anesthesiologist helped me calm down quickly and answered any concerns I had. Surgery was done well, and my recovery has been going well thanks to the medical staff.

My experience is from my son’s birth last month. The nurses and doctor Fluckiger were amazing! The lactation consultant Jen was so kind and fit me in same day to see her. I was nervous to have my baby here due to reviews and honestly it was one of the best experiences I’ve had.

emergency room is a joke, walk-in clinic is a joke. In 3 years im been medically abandoned by two different drs, ive been gas lit by dr, ive been refused service in emergency by power tripping drs. Ive experienced patient abuse from the drs and staff, by them threating to not provide me service in the ER. Ive been accused by the drs that im just pill seeking, when i had real medical issues i was experiencing, even tho ive never had a problem with opioids. (had even stated, prior to the accusation of being a pill seeker, that i didnt want meds i just wanted an mri and to find out what was wrong with me to get it fixed.) I’ve had drs admit guilt, and then apologizing to me for not taking me seriously sooner. Seriously if youre looking for good medical care, go anywhere other then walla walla hospitals. Providence st marys is a horrible hospital ever since they added the “providence” to its name. Not to mention the legal issues they have for drs doing surgeries that weren’t necessary and for not helping direct people to the fact its a “charitably” hospital and just charging those who cant afford services, the full bill. And we had someone die in the waiting room of the ER and let me tell you, this little Hot Fuzz town of ours is sneeky corrupt. You wont find one article about the woman who died in the er waiting room.

The Hull family wishes to acknowledge and commend the staff of the third floor of Providence St. Marys Medical Center for the excellent care and compassion shown during the difficult passing of our loving Mother, Wife and Grandmother. It was greatly appreciated.
