My son is almosf 3 now but my original doctor was doctor glover and midwife jenn. My son was born May 26 2018 and it was labor day weekend so my doctor was out and dr. Lorenz had to deliver my baby. Well it was a rough delivery. He broke my sons collarbone. And then I hemmoraged a short while after and lost over a third of my blood volume. It was very scary and the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor! He was to rough! But my son is almost 3 and he is just fine. It is very hard to take care of a baby with a broke collarbone.

The labor and delivery floor and staff is fantastic- the low stars is for Meridian only. My appointments were always rushed, but thats nothing compared to my birth experience. I went into labor at 5am on a Friday. Went to the hospital by 9. My midwife was working in clinic that day and refused to do any "inpatient stuff" which means no deliveries. Despite her being late to my last appointment with her because she was attending a birth. My birth plan was a water birth. I drove an hour each way to come to this facility because it was the only one within 100 miles who would do water birth. The on call doctor wouldn't do water births and my midwife refused to show up. The on call doctor didn't even show up until the baby was already out too so I don't know what difference it could have possibly made. I had the labor and delivery nurse ask twice and had my husband call her office too. Sucked a lot not only for the 2 hour drive each appointment, but this was likely my last baby. My first was an emergency c section and second was a road side vbac, so I feel like my last and final chance at the birth experience I wanted was stolen because the person I was relying on just didn't want to show up. 100% regret picking meridian.

Dr.Lorenz and his staff are so welcoming and quick to get you seen. They have always been super helpful with any issues we have come across during my 2 pregnancies these past 2 years. A lot of women think you have to drive to Burleson or Fort Worth to get a good OBGYN but for any moms searching for one, you can save the drive because Dr.Lorenz is wonderful, & as a busy mom of 4 I always appreciate how quickly he gets you in. Meagan and Linda are such sweet women, they have always treated me with so much love! What’s also really great is they just brought on a midwife who is seriously the nicest lady! Hope this helped someone decide 😊 God Bless

I was a bit lost with my first pregnancy and was searching for the right OB. The wonderful reviews of Meridian Women’s made it the obvious choice! I am SO glad I chose Dr. Lorenz. His staff is amazing and April made certain I was prepared to receive care, making the lifesaving recommendation of Pregnant Women’s Medicaid. To anyone looking for an OBGYN, look no further. I will never go anywhere else for obstetric or gynecological care! Thank you for everything!

Dr. Lorenz is awesome. I wanted a water birth with a doctor I could trust to keep me and my tiny guy safe and that’s exactly what I got. My prenatal visits were easy but comprehensive and he took extra precaution with anything that even looked a little out of the norm. The whole staff is friendly and warm. I’m happy to finally be done with this pregnancy but sad I won’t be seeing them as often.

Dr. Lorenz and the staff at Meridian OB/GYN are friendly and professional! The environment was clean, comfortable, and put me at ease. I did not feel like I was just another person on a schedule. Dr. Lorenz listened well and explained things in-depth, in a way that I could actually understand. Their office staff were also very accommodating when I had questions. I would definitely recommend them for well-woman/GYN visits!

Had two babies and two different OB/GYNs for each pregnancy. The difference between the two was night and day—love Dr. Lorenz! He listens to his patients, has a great bedside manner, and he is very knowledgeable. He explains complex things in ways you can comprehend. I wish I could have used Dr. Lorenz when I had my first baby! Office staff is very nice and friendly as well! All around a great place for getting the care you need. Highly recommend!

I have never experienced such a nightmare in dealing with office staff and having issues sending orders when test or procedures are needed. I have been dealing with mammogram findings since November and the coldness in the matter expressed by the staff in getting the F/U ultra sound and ordering of the test, well it is April and this is the 3rd try only to show up and it not be correct orders, so guess if it is cancer it will be on their hands to deal with. I will be finding an office with competent staff. That cates about their patients.

ZERO STARS Would not recommend awful experience. Was charged 100 dollars claimed to be copay confirmed with my ins this was not correct took 2 phone calls to the office never was able to reach Linda the office manager she never returned my phone calls. In office staff could not explain the charges it took hours on phone back and forth with ins and office finally my insurance got them to admit the money needed to be refunded. Linda refused to give a number to make a complaint terrible service

Dena is by far the best provider I’ve ever had. You’ll never meet someone more invested in your health and truly gives you 110% of her attention. I’m so lucky I found her. 👍🏻

I just want to say the Dr. Lorenz is a very passionate, loving, and caring Doctor. Last week my wife was having severe lower abdominal pain and had a Fibroid cyst that is twisted. She is in need of a Total Hysterectomy. He has weighted all his options and discussed with other professionals before just rushing in to do a procedure. His staff is awesome and very caring. My wife was in so much pain for so long going back to the hospital to get blood every few months and No one could explain to us why. Thank you Dr. Lorenz you will always be in our prayers.

I was unimpressed with the staff. I felt like they were very unprepared to answer my questions. The doctor was nice and explained everything well, but for sitting there while he talked I was charged $200. I have never had to pay that much for telling a doctor my symptoms before. The staff was unprepared to answer my insurance questions, did not know how to provide an itemized treatment list, and seemed slow to provide answers. My labs cost $225 where I can get the same ones done for $70 at other practices. They were friendly, but overall unprepared and overpriced. After my follow up appointment (which I have been informed will cost $100-150 solely upon how long the doctor talks to me) I will not be going back and I would not recommend going to any friends.
