We
visited
Pennhurst
this
past
Saturday
during
Paracon.
Every
single
employee
we
encountered
was
kind
and
helpful.
Bernie
and
Donna
were
fantastic
and
shared
their
insights
with
us
regarding
their
employment
at
Pennhurst.
We
checked
out
the
museum
and
soaked
in
all
the
information
we
possibly
could.
We
did
the
90
minute
history
tour
and
it
was
beyond
AMAZING!
Our
tour
guide
was
Joey
and
she
was
phenomenal.
I
cannot
thank
the
new
owners
enough
for
wanting
to
respect
the
souls
who
died
at
Pennhurst
and
for
working
tirelessly
to
preserve
this
site.
I
will
tell
any
and
everyone
I
know
about
this
place
to
help
tell
the
story
of
Pennhurst.
Continuing
the
fight
for
individuals
with
disabilities
is
vital.
We
will
be
back
and
would
love
to
do
the
3
hour
history
tour.
Also
turns
out
that
I
had
an
uncle
who
was
a
resident
at
Pennhurst
in
the
early
1900's.
I'm
going
to
try
to
learn
more
about
him
and
how
he
died
at
Pennhurst.
