Did two dives with Tortuga Drivers yesterday. The staff James, Chris UK and Chris USA were outstanding. The ensured everyone was briefed, equipped and safe. The dives were nothing short of amazing. The first dive was a 100 ft dive where we saw the most amazing aquatic life and we had three Caribbean Reef Sharks swimming among us..., too cool!!! The second dive of the day was just as spectacular. I would highly recommend diving with Tortuga Divers...... class organization

Hi there folks, I traveled with a group of four to dive three days with Tortuga Divers. We stayed at Morritts, so their location was super convenient. James is a little salty, so don’t let that discourage you, you’ve been warned, lol. Find your own way to soften him up, and he will respond. Now, the crew on this twin screw during our visit included Captain Elliot, V , Ole, Pierre and a couple of others, whose names I didn’t catch. Great crew!! Capt Elliot even had a turn guiding down under. Very knowledgeable, plan on returning.

I highly recommend this diving operation if you are diving in the East End. Excellent rates, great staff, nice boats and very well maintained equipment. We will definitely use them again whenever we return in the future do dive in Grand Cayman.

Wife and I spent 4 straight days of two tank dives with this group and had a blast! Wonderful service and support and care for our dive gear. Visited 8 different dive sites. We highly recommend this dive operation.

AWESOME!!! We (family of 4)have been diving for years and this was the best experience!!! Crew was top notch, first class!! Since we hadn't been diving in 5 years, we had to do a refresher class and it was a great!! Pierre was our instructor. He was awesome! We appreciated his patience and guidance with all the safety skills, etc. Big thank you to AJ for setting everything up after a confusing reservation issue. Loved our 2 tank dive (especially the Black rock) with Patrick! Saw alot of interesting coral, sea life!! The boat crew was fun and enjoyed all the stories and info about the area!!

My family of three enjoyed a great snorkel trip with Tortuga Divers to Stingray City and the reef. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. My husband also did 5 dives with Tortuga and said he experienced the same professionalism during those excursions as well. We stopped by the dive shop several times during our weeklong stay on the island, and the staff was always friendly and quick to answer all our questions. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend Tortuga Divers to anyone looking to enjoy water activities.

Great diving! Sharks, turtles squid, awesome wall diving, excellent staff, good place for getting certified or adding certifications. I was certified on nitrox. Dived 3 times a day. 10 to 20 min boat ride to wall sites. 85 degrees at 100 ft. Best week of diving.

Great Crew, great service and Very Very Safe

We love Red Sail Sports!! This trip we did a Sunset Sail out of the Westin Seven Mile, a Stingray and snorkel tour from Rum Point and jet skis from Rum Point. Every excursion was awesome and our guides were fun and kept us safe! We will always use Red Sail when we come to Grand Cayman!

Great experience from start to finish. AJ helped set me up with online coursework prior to arriving at the island. I had no experience diving prior to becoming certified with Tortuga Divers and the PADI open water program. Although I was intimidated and apprehensive about diving, all of the instructors made me feel at ease. Pierre was exceptionally patient with me and my fellow diver. With the help of Pierre and his team at Tortuga Divers I am now a confident certified open water diver. I would recommend anyone looking to dive come see Tortuga Divers, James and his excellent staff. Great experience this week with my family. I can't thank them enough!

My 11yr old son and I thoroughly loved the 1-tank shallow excursion with Tortuga Divers. The captain was kind and the guide was so patient with my son. This was his first ocean dive since becoming certified and he was thrilled. The guide stayed with him, helped with buoyancy control, and took time to show him all the cool things along the reef. We highly recommend this group!

We were very happy with the dives, the staff were great, friendly and helpful. We felt very well taken care of. It’s nice to have the boat leaving from the resort. The equipment was nice and safe. We had a good time, thanks everybody!

Super friendly crew/dive team. Really enjoyed them. Lost a star because, unlike anywhere else on the island, this operation charges tax. There is no sales tax on the Cayman Islands, including not on services at any of the other dive resorts. Really don’t like to deal with hidden fees, but I unfortunately did not do the math, and only saw the breakdown with the US$10/day “tax and fees” after I had checked in the morning of my first day of diving. What?!?!??? Not sure what the “fees” are. Other operations charge what they present up front without tagging these costs on. The fees at tortuga were in addition to the prices quoted on their site. Would still recommend because the crew really is great and the sites they took us to were lovely, but if $ is an issue for you, you might want to price out some of the other operations.if you’re staying at Morrits or Wyndham obviously they’re super convenient. I was not so I wish I had booked elsewhere on the East End.

These guys are the best crew ever! North Wall is amazing. Pierre, Elliot, and Ole lead the dives expertly and efficiently, showing all the good stuff. Sharks, turtles, sting rays and lion fish. Plus the lion fish are so tasty! I come back to them every year.

Rented a single kayak - the rental process was easy and fast in the dive shop; the beach staff attendant was very helpful, friendly and he was such a gentleman. Will definitely rent again this week.

We had a wonderful experience on our refresher course dive. Emily was a great instructor who reviewed everything we needed to know. Our dive site was perfect and the crew was terrific.

We had an excellent day out on the Jetskis. We had plenty of time to explore on our own. Will definitely be doing this again

We rented a jetski at Rum Point and had a blast. The rental process was easy and efficient, and our guide was helpful and easy going. Great experience!

Chris, James and Ole are excellent dive masters along with being very nice human beings. I don't get to dive as much as I'd like and as a result tend to be anxious at the beginning. They were all very low key, didn't rush me or make me feel like I was a bother. As a result I had 2 of my best tanks ever. Plus, spending most of the second dive with Smudge was just over the top! Hoping it's not too long before I'm back!

Cayman Islands was drenched by Tropical Storm Isaac last night Sep 18th, 2018. I could not sleep all night due to storm. I was scheduled to go diving in the morning with Tortuga Divers. The morning conditions still: high wind and rain. I checked online if it is safe to dive during or right after the tropical storm? Internet has 2 pages of diver's recommendations from all around the world with recommendations "DO NOT DIVE!" I stopes at the shop in the morning asking to cancel my dive due to the fact it is not safe and I was not in condition going after sleepless night. Paul have told me they dive 360 days per year regardless of the weather conditions. The manager James refused to refund the money if I would cancel my dive. James told me: "He has to protect the corporation". So the financial coffers of the corporation and his own paycheck is more important than diver's safety? I understand it is the corporate wold, but diver's should not be treated as sacrificial lamb for the corporate profits. I told James that, it will be 100% of corporate liability if something will go wrong with my dive, because I am in no condition diving this morning and his reply back was "you signed the liability release, so we not going to have any liability".

because I can't give zero stars. Find a reliable outfit to dive with. I understood when they canceled the dive because the boat broke. When they re-booked us to thanksgiving day, they changed the dive from two tank to one tank without telling us. Then they called two hours before the dive to tell us boat broke again. If we didn't find a great shore dive shop on the north-east shore, we would have missed diving completely on our holiday. There was no remorse, no offer of service recovery, no "hey why don't you go sailing on us or here is some snorkeling gear or use the paddle boards". Just nothing from them or Tortuga. Such a disappointment. The sailing instructor was great - almost gave a star just for him. To James - you have a lot to learn about customer service.

The Crew at Tortuga, Morritts and Red Sail sports are the best! They are knowledgeable, fun and professional. My boys (12 and 10 yrs) had their first boat dives with them and the whole crew helped make it an awesome experience!

Amazing company. The east end has the best diving in grand cayman and these guys are the ones to go with. Very safe and fun. Kevin in particular is an amazing guide / captain. He went out of his way to find different types of fish and eels . Also spotting a nurse shark . Cheers.

Staff was very friendly and helpful getting us set up to sail. The 3 of us had a great 1 hour sail. Tried to go out for 2 prior days, but they would not rent the ?14'? hobie as they were afraid it was too old to sail in 15-19 MPH winds without breaking. The hobie does need some updates - frayed lines on trampoline and hiking straps no longer attached to the trampoline. These issues did not prevent us from having a great outing in spite of only 12-13 mph winds. It let us explore more of the protected waters inside the reef and get a closer look at the breaking waves just outside the reef.

We had an incredible experience with Tortuga Divers and Red Sail Sports. It was the first time for my husband and I to scuba dive, and we had the best instructor, Pierre. The newbie classes are generally really small, and in our situation, it was just the two of us and Pierre. This was especially helpful when we went out on the boat in the afternoon. I personally had such a great time that I dreamt about scuba diving for three nights afterward. LOL

I had such an amazing experience here! Chris was my guide, and I couldn't have asked for someone better. I was so nervous when practicing in the pool, but by the time we went out for the dive I felt confident and ready to explore. The dive itself was so cool and Chris pointed out different wildlife - without him I don't think this experience would have been nearly as great so thank you Tortuga Divers!!!

The current was strong and the waves were a little tougher than we planned for on a snorkel but Eliot and Chris were great and when the adults were tired Chris jumped in and stayed w the teens. Great staff!!!

We have done this as a snorkel trip many times and always have an amazing time. This group of people are amazing to go out with!! James has a great team!! Very professional, safe and loads of fun 🤩

Took my wife and three kids for our very first dive ever on our recent trip to the Caymans. Chris was the lucky instructor who was assigned to 5 very nervous first-time divers. He was so patient with us and we all ended up having an amazing time. I strongly recommend!

I had very fun time diving with the team at Tortuga. I did 2 - 2 tank dives. At 4 dive sites. Amazing swim throughs and amazing aquatic life. Thanks to Chris, Pierre, Patrick for everything.

Tortuga Divers are amazing! It was my first time diving after receiving my certification so I was a little nervous. All of the dive instructors instantly put me at ease. The dive equipment was ready and set up upon my arrival and all of the equipment was very new looking. They provided an orientation of the boat once we got on and then we went to the dive site. Once at the site we were shown a picture of the dive and explained the route. We broke off into small groups (I was with 2 others and the instructor). The instructor took his time guiding the group and pointed out so many fish and wildlife throughout the dive. Once the dive was done, the other dive instructors on the boat were ready for me to hand them my equipment and they took care of it all. Overall an excellent experience! I can't wait to dive with them again!

Awesome crew!! These guys and gals will take care of you from beginning to end. We did 11 dives with them over a 6 day span and every one of them was smooth and seamless. The crew here is wonderful and helpful in any way a diver can think of. The best dive briefings I’ve ever heard from all crew, particularly Chris and Elliot. The stories attached to particular dive sites are epic as well as the underwater experience with each instructor/dive leader. Also, if you are into macro, find Chris toward the end of your dive and you will not be disappointed. All in all if you’re looking for a company on East End that is a no cattle boat, no-non sense and easy going crew, Tortuga Divers is the way to go. Pure professional in every way!

We had an amazing few days diving with Tortuga Divers (Red Sail Sports) The crew and instructors were phenomenal with our teenagers earlier in the week who became certified with them. Absolutely amazing dives, lots of sea life & overall fantastic experience diving with our newly certified kiddos. They have locations on both sides of the island for diverse dive sites. We couldn’t be happier - Highly recommend them and we can’t wait to come back!
