Resort was a bit of a drive from the airport but there was a grocery store and liquor store across the street. Easy to find. Close to some attractions and Restaurants. 2 bedroom Condo was very spacious and full kitchen, living space. Clean and comfy beds. Fit 5 of us perfectly. Very Friendly service and Tony at the Beach Bar was super!! He made fantastic drinks and took care of us everyday. Ronald in the Restaurants was very attentive and always smiling. Great people on the Resort.

We spent a week at the Wyndham, didn’t do the all inclusive as we like to venture out. Accommodations were par with expectations. My favorite part was watching the sun rise every morning. Food and service at Tides was excellent. The tiki bar was great, too especially during the 4-6 happy hour. There are several shops across the street, a small grocery store, a liquor store, a clothing store (we bought a snorkel there) and The Italian Kitchen which we found to be the most reasonable place to eat a good meal. The room didn’t have laundry, but there are facilities to the right of the hotel lobby entrance. You’ll need to get quarters from the front desk. There are 2 pools, both with hot tubs, one with a volleyball net. Plenty of beach chairs for all, and enough shade from the many palm trees if you want to get out of the sun. Snorkeling was decent, but better over at Mimi’s pier. Book a trip or two like we did, it’s worth it! Overall it was a great, relaxing vacation.

Rating is for 4.5, however the 5 stars is okay. This was actually a wonderful resort, in the quiet east side of Grand Cayman. Clean, great bed, friendly staff. We went off season, so that definitely helped. Tides restaurant had Vegan options!!! Food and service was wonderful and the decor with original paintings was so tasteful, creative and classy.

Property was at the East end of the island which we prefer. Beach was just beautiful. The property was a little bit dated, but clean. We called maintenance and they were extremely responsive and took care of our problem. Location is great, as there is a grocery store and small shopping center across the street. We rented a car. You'll need one if you want to see anything else on the island. Island is clean and the people are friendly. Our two biggest complaints was that they don't pick up the trash outside of your room in a reasonable amount of time and the main TV in our unit was MINISCULE and inside of a cabinet, rendering it barely able to watch by more than one person. It really needs to be replaced.

We have just spent a week here. Staff was friendly. The sunrises in the morning were beautiful! The room we stayed in was nice sized. However, the bathroom was small. We had a great time. The only complaint is I would recommend eating out. They have a limited selection.

This resort does not have any type of housekeeping offered. We stayed for 8 days. No toilet cleaning, changing of linen on the bed, Sweeping of sand off the floor...nothing! We were given two pods of coffee in the room and were told that no more would be given . We would have to purchase coffee/tea at the local store. On our last day, at 8:30 am, we came out of the shower to find an employee on our 2nd floor balcony (climbed over from other). When he saw me ( coming out of the shower Naked to the bedroom) he did not move and continued to spray the ground with a hose. I had to ask him to leave . We spoke to two different people about the incident, and I there was a "sorry about that " and continue to another topic. This was not what we expected from Wyndham. The beach and location was beautiful and and the quiet end of the Caymans. We will go back, but we will definitely not stay at the Wyndham. We felt like we stayed at a cheap motel, not a Resort.

Three moms and our three 18 year old daughters went as a last hoorah before they all leave for college for the first time. We had an amazing time. We loved our spacious villa, the bar and wait staff were so nice to us and the girls. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The food was some of the best I have ever had, we especially loved the Fettucini Alfredo. We had all inclusive, and it was perfect for us. We were not charged anything extra on our bill at the end of the trip. We were there for 5 glorious days, and kind of didn't want to go back home. We did one excursion off property which was a private boat to see the Stingrays, Starfish and Snorkel. Other than that we didn't even want to leave the resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the Caymans!

First it’s a nice resort. We have booked 7 night beach front room. But start at our 4th day, they do maintenance construction in front of our room without any notification! Our beach access are totally blocked. All the noise also so annoying. Front desk and manager not motivated to help and solve the issue. Not good experience for Wyndham property here.

It's a good place to stay, especially if you have kids. They have 3 pools and 2 hot tubs, the ocean is also amazing you can snorkel and see lots of fish, stingrays sharks. Lots of things to do like ping pong, tennis, basketball, and others. Would definitely recommend staying.

The Wyndham Reef did not disappoint!! We love the quiet East side. Had a car so we were able to go to the various beaches, and Rum point, and starfish area, and Seven Mile Beach… but were happy to return to our relaxing resort with the fantastic beach bar, snorkeling, and private (not officially) beach!!

Pretty place would stay again although we rented it as a hotel it's also a timeshare so they try to talk you into the meeting but they are overly pushy staff was friendly. Small grocery store and liquor stores in walking distance. Nice Beach Bar although we had to avoid it one night because they played bingo at the beach bar we just wanted to enjoy the ocean and a quiet drink and it was much too loud one thing we found to be a negative our room and it appeared all rooms shared balconies so the person they joining room could literally walk over and look in your slider we didn't have any issue but we're a little concerned by the lack of privacy and security with the shared balcony

Peaceful and relaxing best describes our stay at the Wyndham Reef. We love the ‘quiet’ side of the island where our minds and bodies can recover from the world’s distractions. The staff is genuine and so attentive and always takes the time to assist if requested. Entertainment, food and activities make for a good time and lots of memorable moments. Other guests are always fun to share stories with - so many have been visiting the Reef for years. We visit twice a year and love some of the things that stay the same and enjoy the new changes that are added in!

This resort was nice overall. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious! The bathrooms in the timeshare unit definitely need to be updated. The dryer didn't work and we were not told when we checked in, we had to use our own money to dry our laundry. The furniture in the living room also needs to be updated. Overall, not a bad experience, definitely could have been better. The pool, staff service, restaurant and beach were all amazing!

Great place for family of 6 (2 teens/2 college-age kids). The rooms were spacious. The teens said the 2 Murphy wall beds were comfortable - they just needed a few extra blankets. A grocery store is right across the street within walking distance to help save money and cook at the villa. The food at the restaurant was delicious too.

Everyone was very friendly and service was great. Best location in the island for beach walks if you like to find shells. They cleaned the beach really early so it was always in great shape just head to the left to find the best shells. The gym was amazing, large and well equipped. Just wish the balconies had lounge chairs. Also hammocks under the trees would be a wonderful addition.

Very nice place. rooms very nice and clean. Staff very polite and attentive. Hotel is on the east end which was very windy while we were there in December. But the whole place was really quiet which we liked. No problems and we throuougly enjoyed out stay. We liked the hot tub and it was right outside our room. The pool was nice as well as the beach. Food was good and there was a variety each night.

After five years we finally were able to make it out to the resort. I was unsure at first how being on the east end would be but after a week here, this is my preferred area. The resort is nice and calm. Staff are super friendly thru and thru. We came at a rough week as the elevator in our building was down (we were on the third floor) and the planes used to spray the mosquitoes were also broken so we had a rough go once the sun set. The restaurant is alright, and the drinks are good. If you’re looking for a resort with nightlife, this doesn’t really have anything after about 9-10pm. Ocean Frontiers is on site for diving and snorkeling excursions. The staff put on some fun activities throughout the week so it’s not that you can’t find something to do. At just under 45 minutes to get to town, this is a great way to be on the island but away from the hustle and bustle.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere! Yoga was not my favorite though, it felt more like a workout instead a relaxing practice by the water. I also wasn’t a fan of the plastic wristbands to keep track of the hotel guests, there’s definitely a better way to do that.

A fabulous resort right on the beach! Great food, very welcoming staff, and clean and comfortable accommodations. Just be aware that the US dollar is worth $.80 on the Cayman dollar, so everything is going to cost you 20% more.

We stayed at the Wyndham for pleasure. I liked that the property was away from the "city". It felt very safe (especially at night). The property does need some updates, for example the yellow warning stripes on the steps have worn off and a couple of times I tripped a bit. They could use a bit more lighting on the trail/paths. The fitness room had a nice selection of equipment's. The property is located right on the ocean- BEAUTIFUL!! The room we stayed in had a few issues with the TV connection and the shower head - I'm sure that was just room specific. The pool area is small, I wish it had a swimup bar - but they do have a bar area and it is beautiful. They had live music a few nights. The staff is AMAZING and the food is outstanding. All in all it was a great stay

I can’t say enough positive things about this resort. My husband and I are HGV members and decided to use our saved RCI points in the Grand Cayman. We found a GEM! This resort is very relaxing. All units on the beach. The rooms were extremely clean. The staff could not have been more kind and willing to accommodate. Strongly recommend for a quiet vacation. Will be back 😊

Beautiful place and very professional stuff! The beach is very good scope spots of the sea bottom is rocky but we found good sandy spot with easy access. Snorkeling is great under the peer. This side of the Island is not too quiet ( I mean the sea behavior) and some waves appear but we swam and it was great. There is a little shopping plaza across the street and you can find anything that you need food, drinks, clothes. We will come back:)
