Went
here
because
of
the
place’s
reputation
online
as
one
of
the
best
Caribbean
food
places
in
DC
(if
not
the
best).
We
got
the
fried
whole
Caribbean
snapper
fish.
It
was
tasty,
but
at
$49
(what
the
current
market
price
was)
it
was
very
expensive.
I
enjoyed
it,
but
I
wouldn’t
be
willing
to
spend
that
much
on
it
again.
If
sharing
this
with
someone
else,
then
you
may
want
something
else
too
since
you’ll
still
be
slightly
hungry
at
the
end.
The
staff
is
friendly,
but
they
put
an
automatic
20%
“service
fee”
on,
then
make
sure
to
emphasize
to
you
that
the
service
fee
goes
100%
to
the
people
in
the
back
of
the
kitchen
and
is
not
a
tip
for
your
server.
So
you
basically
feel
guilt
tripped
to
end
up
paying
40%
extra
for
your
meal.
I
highly
recommend
they
change
this
policy.
Even
if
it
means
increasing
the
price
of
dishes
on
the
menu
by
building
the
service
fee
into
it
ahead
of
time,
that
would
ultimately
be
better
than
basically
making
people
feel
lousy
or
awkward
at
the
end
of
the
meal.
Have
people
pay
just
the
tip
at
the
end
