This lovely place offers food and wine at the very highest levels and the service is excellent, very friendly, attentive but not too much so, very professional. Nice selection of wines but strangely no win flights. Doesn't detract from the amazing experience in any way, just an observation. We loved it and will definitely return

This is where I will go to if I have one last meal on earth. The experience is simply heavenly. Well deserved to maintain 3 Michelin stars for 50 years.

Bereits zum neunten Mal in der Auberge de L‘ill. Es war wie immer vorzüglich. Hervorragende Speisen auf eigens kreiertem Bernardaud, erlesene Weine und ein sehr aufmerksamer und stets höflicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Came with high expectations and wasn’t disappointed! The restaurant is situated in a rather quiet spot, making it a very specific drive out there. But once you walk into the dining area, you’ll understand why the chef chose to establish his restaurant here! It is clear that he had a vision, a dream for the place to showcase his masterful culinary skills. From the beautiful garden setting next to a stream, to the customised furniture and crockery, everything felt meticulously chosen. Of course, all this would still fall short if the food and staff did not also live up to the visual senses but fortunately, they did! The eyes and the mouth are in harmony; every bite is a delight. The service is befitting of a Michelin restaurant - friendly without being obnoxious. The sommelier is particularly warm and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience which I would love to repeat again if I have the opportunity. Total spend: €503 for 2 degustation meals, 2 glasses of champagne and one wine pairing

This was my second visit and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere and tranquility is second to none. The service and food were spectacular. The staff was perfectly attentive and the sommelier was so excellent and interesting to chat with. As remarkable as everything was, I felt comfortable like I was being warmly hugged by everything. This is beyond fine dining, this is an unforgettable experience!

If I go to Alsace, this place is all the times at the first place, that I have to visit. Pleasant atmosphere, professional staff, amazing coulinary pieces, big range of wines... Amazing experience of combining meals with wines. My advice is to go here for lunch, reserved whole afternoon for stay here. Let' s start with Glass of Champagne in beautiful garden, alongside creek, relax and prepare your mouth and taste cells for briliant performance on each plate!!!😊😉🥂 Dress code: formal (w: dresses, m: suit will suit you😉)

Leider ist der Ruf besser als das Erlebnis selbst. Wir haben schon mannigfaltige Sterneküche erleben dürfen, aber das war ein Abend der besonderen Art! Eine wunderschöne Location (5*) und auch im Menü einige Highlights, die aufblitzten (4*) Aber der Service hat an dem Abend den Vogel abgeschossen. Der Serviceleiter hat einen sehr komischen Humor und machte sich über uns lustig und der Sommelier und eine weiter Dame im Service lachten etwas verdeckt mit. Es war einfach nur peinlich. Lediglich "Floriana" hat einen TOP Service an dem Abend hingelegt. Chapeau! Ab den Desserts fehlte dann teilweise der Service völlig, er war verschwunden. Der Dessertwein wurde erst zum Schluss geöffnet und das bei korrespondierendem Weinarrangement. Einfach nur schade, dass das niemand sieht und das so eine Leistung in diesem Haus erbracht wurde. Deswegen bekommt von uns aus der Service und insbesondere der Serviceleiter gerade mal (2*) Ich hoffe das liest jemand im Hause und zieht Konsequenzen.

A phenomenal experience that sets apart this 2 michelin stars, amazing restaurant from others. The service is highly professional and ceremonial to the letter. The atmosphere is unique with beautiful scenery view. And the food is every thing you expect from a 2 michelin star restaurant in France.

Omigod! This was a really fabulous meal! So many of Europe's best dining opportunities are found in small out-of-the-way places like this. Baiersbronn, in Germany, is a similar situation. It was just too difficult to focus on writing a review as the delicious courses came to us, all I can tell you is that if you ever have a chance to eat here - DO IT! Obwohl schon 1882 gegründet hat diese Lokalität kein bisschen an Glanz verloren. Für mich persönlich der erste Besuch in einem Michelinstern ausgezeichnetem Restaurant und dann auch noch mit zwei ! Die Erwartungen waren dementsprechend hoch und wurden trotzdem weit übertroffen. Hier Abendessen ist buchstäblich ein Ereignis dass man nie vergessen wird. Von der Begrüßung bis hin zum Gang auf das Stille Örtchen gleicht nichts auch nur ansatzweise einem normalen Restaurantbesuch. Jeder Bissen war eine Reise der Aromen die man selten so bewusst und gleichzeitig genüsslich erleben kann. Das absolute Highlight war das Wagyusteak, welches mein Verständnis von Fleisch essen völlig zerschmettert hat, während ich mir Mühe geben musste nicht an meinem eigenen Speichel vor Genuß zu ersticken. Selbstverständlich war das Personal ebenso wie das Ambiente dem ganzen voll und ganz angemessen. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis und wenn man mal in seinem Leben WIRKLICH gut essen gehen will dann bitte hier.

Really unique atmosphere. The Aperitif is outside on a beautiful stream with a magical feeling, beautiful flowers and trees. After we moved to the inside of the restaurant and was elegant. Food was amazing and the service to perfection. Can understand why it's a Michelin restaurant.

This place is everything they it is. High fashion cuisine but still has it's traditional quality setting. They are a 3star restaurant for 51years already. This is absolutely worth it.

One of my favourite place, great food and atmosphere, however the sommelier did spoil the experience for my wife and I for our wedding anniversary by being very reluctant and rude to change a wine despite us paying for it! At this level and for the full menu customers should be treated with respect, I thought she owned the place and had inappropriate remarks.

Es war von Anfang bis Ende grandios. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Jeder Angestellte war freundlich und überaus aufmerksam. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Es wurde - nach einem kleinen Hin und Her (das ist auch wirklich der einzige Kritikpunkt) - auch Rücksicht darauf genommen, dass nicht jeder am Tisch das gleiche Menü essen wollte. Wir hatten 2 Mal das normale Menü, einmal vegetarisch und einmal a la carte. Ich kann jedem empfehlen, hier essen zu gehen.

An unforgettable experience! We came all the way to here just for this restaurant and it was worth it! Every dish we had was paired with wine and tasted delicious. We had easily enough food for one dinner and the tasting menu included awards winning dishes such as their salmon. The waiters were extremely careful and alwayd poured more of some wines that you enjoyed, and you always had your glass of water refilled. Would definitely recommend!

Everything one would expect from a ** Michelin restaurant. Beautiful venue, especially in warm weather when you can sit on the extended terrace and enjoy aperitifs or cremant before dining. The staff are incredibly polite, cheerful, professional and intuitively attentive. I have dined here on two occasions and will certainly return often.

We had the chance to eat in Haerberlin restaurant and stay at their hotel on Sunday and it truly was a unique experience! All the food was exquisite and beautifully presented, paired with the perfect wine to elevate the taste and bring out all the flavours. The hotel’s amenities are great with a full serviced spa and a very nice outdoor pool

What an excellent experience from start to finish. Very professional when making and confirming reservations. Upon our early entry, we were allow to get freshened up in the adjacent hotel lobby as we had been out wine tasting all day. Restaurant sits on the Ill river in heart of Alsace. Upon entry of the restaurant we were greeted by a line of engaging and smiling employees. Any language barrier was non-existent as menus and staff were proficient in English. Heard them speaking other languages at other tables. Sommelier suggested an excellent local Grand Cru Pinot Gris that went with both of our tasting menus. Food came well paced, locally fresh and picturesque. Our table's location allowed us to see the well orchestrated service in the dining room. Staff was on point with all technical, physical and hospitality skills. Our main server had been there for 30+ years and was as professionally presented as it was his first day. Bring your wallet though, dinner with service was €550, but this isn't everyday experience. One side note: make sure to order a taxi around dessert time as they take a long time to come...and very expensive too. €70 to Colmar. If you get the chance and want to enjoy total dining experience, this is the place for you.

I have been rocked to my core. This gem is absolutely flawless. I drop to my knees in gratitude to the chef and the team. To create the food and the extras is absolutely over the top. Highly recommend. An experience unlike any other.
