I’ve have the pleasure of training with Sven a bunch and he is an incredible instructor. I recently trained with another instructor, Heiko, and he is a great guy and very skilled as well. This is surely one of the best gyms in Germany!

Passed through Cologne for a week and they were kind enough to let me train for a day. Very welcoming gym. The best no gi training I've experienced. Good structure of the lesson. Warmed up with some guard passing then did two techniques for about 30 minutes with the coach giving a lot of detail on each. Then open mat for the last 40 minutes or so. Didn't feel too rushed and no time was wasted (no shrimping up and down the mat for example) Cheers for the training!

Incredible quality of instruction, very high level people training here, and also very welcoming to visitors. I highly recommend stopping by at Game Theory Jiu Jitsu, it is a hidden gem! I had a great time training here :)

Had the pleasure of going to train with these folks while I was in Koeln. It's too bad my tip was cut short because I had such a good experience that I wanted to go back at least a few more times. When I was there Nelson was the instructor. Not only was he a nice guy, but is also an awesome and thorough coach and because my German is only alright he was able to translate to help me out! I'll be back guys, don't know when but you keep doing what you're doing! Ossss!!

It was the best decission to join this team and its professional way of training BJJ. The training is on a very high level, but still with a relaxed attitude and really welcoming atmosphere! Heavyly recommended! If you love Jiu Jitsu and ever visit Cologne, you need to visit for a roll!

I went to Open mat today. Coaches and participants were so nice and welcoming. Even it was first time to see them, coaches were willingly to share ideas to better my game. I am looking forward to visit next time again. Thanks for today. Osss

The Game Theory is the best place to do BJJ in Cologne and its surroundings. I moved to Cologne late last year and joined Game Theory approx. 6 months ago. After getting to know the BJJ scene in Cologne, I am very happy that I made that decision. Excellent level of NOGI grappling + very cool vibes in the gym

It's right, they are breaking traditions in a good way! No strict lineage etc. Just really good and knowledgeable people who help you to get better. Awesome atmosphere in the gym, really welcoming and no ego. Glad that I found the place 🙏🏽 PS: Sven ist doof, weitersagen (aber tue mir nicht weh)

Had the pleasure of training here on a weekend away and got to train with Heiko and all the guys and girls and it was an absolute pleasure! Will definitely be making a trip back specifically for training with everyone at their gym! Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and nice fun (and tough) rolls!

Sven, Nelson and their guys from Game Theory Jiu Jitsu, are a super friendly and high technical group of people. Good didactics and mordern Jiu-Jitsu go and in hand in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whoever has the chance to train with them, should do so. High quality intensive training for all levels. Germany top skilled trainers. Easy atmosphere combined with a great training discipline and routine. My conclusion: The best of jiu jitsu in Cologne and the area. Highly recommended.
